132: Chapter 132 Physical Landfill Under the Earth's Crust: The Prime Minister Commits Seppuku, and the Next Prime Minister Kneels in Response!

Pangu Laboratory B2, 10:05 AM.

The exhaust valve of the atomic layer deposition cluster opened and closed rhythmically.

A 42-meter-long metal skeleton lay in the center of the hall, with one-third of the area already covered by the black heavy-duty stealth cloak.

Su Che sat in front of the console, his gaze shifting away from the progress bar on the screen.

7,700 points.

He was still 300 points short of redeeming the full system for the Xuanwu aerospace drone.

He reached out to pick up the water glass on the table, the bottom of the cup clicking lightly against the wooden surface.

Lin Waner sat on a folding chair not far away, carefully packing her old sneakers into a plastic bag and tying a knot.

The industrial HVAC system at the top of the hall was running at full power, and the worn fan bearings emitted a continuous high-frequency noise.

Lin Waner raised her hand to rub her right ear.

Su Che put down the water glass and pulled over the keyboard.

In his mind, a blue and white panel popped up right on time.

"Ding! Detected the host's intention to improve the working environment, side quest triggered!"

"Quest Name: Return Quiet to the Ears!"

"Quest Content: How can a top-tier laboratory be disturbed by industrial noise! Based on existing sound wave interference principles, please develop a civilian-grade full-domain active noise cancellation module to make the noise disappear!"

"Quest Reward: 800 skill points, unlock redemption rights for civilian full-band sound wave anti-phase neutralization algorithm, 500 redemption points."

"Current host accumulated skill points: 7,700 points, redeem?"

Su Che pressed confirm in his consciousness.

"Ding! Consumed 500 skill points."

"Current host accumulated skill points: 7,200 points."

A streamlined algorithm logic flooded into his mind.

Su Che called up the audio management module of the laboratory's central control system and entered the noise spectrum of the HVAC system.

His fingers tapped on the keyboard, and ten lines of code overwrote the original voice-controlled driver.

He hit the Enter key.

The speakers around the hall emitted a very short "hum" sound.

The high-frequency noise of the HVAC system disappeared instantly.

It wasn't that the fan had stopped; the anti-phase sound waves had directly canceled out the noise as it propagated through the air.

Lin Waner lowered the hand she was using to rub her ear and looked around.

"Ding! Side quest completed! Reward 800 skill points!"

"Current host accumulated skill points: 8,000 points."

That was enough.

Su Che didn't pause and directly pulled up the main quest panel.

"Ding! Consumed 8,000 skill points, redeemed [Aerospace Drone Autonomous Decision-Making Technology] + [Trans-atmospheric Flight Dynamic Control Technology] + [Cluster Collaborative Attack and Defense Algorithm Technology] and the full blueprints for the Xuanwu."

"Current host accumulated skill points: 0 points."

A massive stream of data washed over his consciousness space.

The aerodynamic layout of the Xuanwu drone, the mixing ratio of the plasma stealth coating, and the mounting scheme for the quantum-enhanced laser cannon were laid out in exhaustive detail.

This wasn't a pieced-together verification aircraft like the Yu-01.

This was a mass-produced killing machine truly prepared for the space meat grinder.

The heavy glass door of the B2 level slid open to both sides.

Qin Lan turned her head.

Deputy Director Qin walked in, wearing a dark gray jacket.

Qin Lan walked over, took a cup of warm water from the nearby water dispenser, and handed it to him.

"Dad, why are you here?" Qin Lan asked casually.

Deputy Director Qin took the paper cup and took a sip.

"Commander-in-Chief Wang Xueshan asked me to come and see how the bones of this bird are being assembled." Deputy Director Qin crushed the paper cup and threw it into the trash can. "You promised to deliver the goods to him."

Su Che turned his swivel chair to face the two of them.

He didn't show any surprise at this father-daughter relationship.

"The first section of the verification component is finished, and the stealth cloak is being applied." Su Che pointed to the center of the hall. "This one is different from what was promised before; this one is a real big guy! It might not be delivered to him in the end."

"It's fine, Commander-in-Chief Wang is clear on the situation; delivering it anywhere is for the sake of the country." Deputy Director Qin looked in the direction he was pointing while speaking.

One section of that 42-meter-long giant metal component was visually completely integrated into the background, and there was no reflection even when the light hit it.

Jiang Yingxue's tablet suddenly emitted a series of sharp beeps.

She straightened up from the edge of the table, her fingers sliding quickly across the screen.

"Su Che." Jiang Yingxue projected the tablet onto the main screen.

The map of Kagoshima Prefecture on Kyushu Island was enlarged, and the location of the KT-03 underground facility lit up with a glaring red light.

"The Yiren AI Core has issued a top-level alert." Jiang Yingxue's speaking speed went up a notch. "The load on the independent power supply line of the KT-03 has exceeded the industrial limit in the past minute."

Su Che looked at the big screen.

"They are charging the backup for the Ame-no-Murakumo." Jiang Yingxue pulled up the energy curve. "The power climbing speed is three times faster than that machine on the JS Izumo."

Deputy Director Qin walked to the console.

"Who is the target?" Deputy Director Qin asked.

"The firing data derived by the core indicates that the azimuth is pointing directly at the home port of the East Sea Fleet." Jiang Yingxue replied.

Qin Lan pulled over a chair, sat down, and opened the tactical terminal.

"Takaishi Sayuki is trying to flip the table completely." Qin Lan looked at the intelligence summary on the terminal. "She knows that conventional military forces can't win, and she didn't dare to sign the list of conditions, so she wants to use directed energy weapons to drag one of our home ports down with them."

Su Che pulled over the keyboard and cut into the control interface of the Yiren AI Core.

The blueprints for the Xuanwu drone had just been obtained, and it would take at least 48 hours for the first prototype to roll off the line.

The Yu-01 was still patrolling over the East Sea, and it would take time to fly to Kyushu Island.

The charging progress of the Ame-no-Murakumo backup had been climbing continuously and had now reached 60 percent.

Su Che didn't mobilize the Yu-01.

He stood up and walked to the side of the 42-meter-long truss verification section.

He placed his palm on the cold aluminum-lithium alloy.

Embedded in this bone were 360 Anti-gravity coupling nodes.

Last night, they had pushed the Eagle Sauce's gravitational waves back to the Yucca Plain.

Su Che walked back to the console.

"Disconnect the laboratory's conventional power grid." Su Che entered the command on the keyboard. "Switch the nuclear fusion dedicated line to the truss nodes at full power."

The fluorescent lights in the hall went out instantly, and the emergency overhead lights turned on.

The nodes on the truss that were not covered by the stealth cloak erupted with a ghostly blue light.

"What are you doing?" Deputy Director Qin watched the anomaly in the center of the hall.

"They want to burn our port with light." Su Che called up the control module for the gravitational wave interference and reverse resonance matrix.

In the target coordinate column, he entered the latitude and longitude of the KT-03.

"I'll help them loosen the soil."

Su Che pulled the resonance frequency to the maximum value.

He pressed the Enter key.

The 360 Anti-gravity nodes simultaneously emitted a deafening high-frequency screech.

The ground of the Pangu Laboratory did not shake; the directional force field conduction had completely shielded the local rock stress.

The gravitational waves were highly focused, forming an invisible conical channel that pierced directly through the crust and thrust toward the other side of the East Sea.

...

10:18 AM.

Sakura Country, Kagoshima Prefecture, Kyushu Island.

Deep inside the KT-03 underground facility, the huge superconducting cavity was emitting a piercing white light.

The charging progress indicator jumped to 85 percent.

The technical staff were reporting parameters loudly at the console when a very low-frequency vibration suddenly came from the ground.

It wasn't the shaking of an earthquake; it was a sense of tearing from the bottom up.

Fine cracks burst on the surface of the load-bearing columns in the control room, and concrete fragments smashed onto the console.

"Underground rock stress is abnormal!" the monitor roared into the microphone. "An unknown energy field is destroying the foundation structure!"

The fixing brackets of the superconducting cavity emitted the metal-twisting screams.

The energy of the gravitational wave resonance matrix acted directly on the fault where the KT-03 was located.

The rock layer lost its support and shattered instantly.

The Ame-no-Murakumo backup, which was 90 percent charged, lost its horizontal reference.

The superconducting cavity tilted, and the high-energy particle beam deflected inside the cavity, cutting directly through the cooling pipelines.

Liquid nitrogen gushed out.

In the next second, the entire underground facility was completely buried by tens of thousands of tons of collapsed rock.

On the ground, a small hill on the outskirts of Kagoshima Prefecture sank 50 meters downward within ten seconds.

A huge sinkhole was formed.

There was no flash of explosion, and even the sound was muffled underground.

Physical burial, clean and tidy.

Pangu Laboratory B2.

Su Che pressed Enter and turned off the resonance matrix.

The blue light on the truss dimmed, and the fluorescent lights turned back on.

Jiang Yingxue looked at the data feedback on the main screen.

"The energy signal of the KT-03 has disappeared." Jiang Yingxue turned the tablet over.

"The Kagoshima Prefecture Seismological Bureau has just released a local geological collapse report." Qin Lan looked at the terminal. "Casualties are unknown, and the facility is completely destroyed."

Deputy Director Qin looked at Su Che.

"What is the range of this thing?" Deputy Director Qin pointed to the skeleton in the center of the hall.

"As long as the Earth is round, it can hit anywhere." Su Che picked up the water glass and took a sip.

...

10:45 AM.

Tokyo, Prime Ministers Official Residence.

Takaishi Sayuki sat behind her desk.

The list of conditions submitted by the Dragon Country was still on the corner of the table.

The secretary pushed open the door without even knocking.

His steps were messy, and his tie was crooked.

"Prime Minister." The secretary's voice was trembling.

Takaishi Sayuki did not look up.

"The KT-03 facility... is gone." The secretary placed the report on the table.

Takaishi Sayuki's gaze fell on the report.

Collapse, burial, no survivors.

The Netherworld Project didn't even make a splash before it became the true Netherworld.

She opened the drawer.

Inside was a short sword with a white wooden handle and a bright blade.

This was something her grandfather had left behind.

The secretary saw the sword and took a step back.

Takaishi Sayuki took the sword out and placed it on the desk.

She stood up, walked around the desk, and went to the window.

The protesting crowd on the street had already been dispersed by the police, leaving only discarded white cloth strips on the ground.

She had lost.

She had lost without a single bargaining chip left.

If she didn't sign that list, the Dragon Country's next strike might land under the Prime Ministers Official Residence.

Takaishi Sayuki walked back to the desk and picked up the list of conditions on the corner.

She signed her name on the last page.

Then, she picked up the short sword on the table.

She pulled it out of the scabbard.

The tip of the blade was aimed at her own abdomen.

The secretary turned around and stumbled out of the office.

The sound of a heavy object falling to the ground came from outside the door.

...

Pangu Laboratory B2, 11:10 AM.

Qin Lan's terminal received a top-secret briefing.

She took a look and looked up.

"Takaishi Sayuki signed it." Qin Lan put the terminal on the table. "Then she committed seppuku."

There was only the slight hum of the HVAC system in the hall.

Su Che did not stop his work of arranging the production line for the Xuanwu drone.

"A dead Prime Minister cannot bring back more than 30 million lives." Su Che typed on the keyboard. "The list of conditions must not be discounted by even a single item; let the successor continue to kneel."

He sent the processing instructions for the first batch of parts for the Xuanwu drone to the automated workshop next door.

On the control interface of the Yiren AI Core, the three-year countdown warning regarding the L2 Lagrangian point was still hanging in the corner.

Su Che leaned back in his chair.

The trash on Earth had been cleaned up well enough.

It was time to start building the things in the sky.
