81: Chapter 81 Citywide Alert: The "Sky Eye" Mousetrap Reappears!
Lieutenant General Peng's eyes sharpened.
Turn the entire capital into his laboratory?
Does this kid even know what he's talking about?
The authorization required for this is beyond what the Military Science Commission can approve on its own.
This requires the highest level of authorization to mobilize the entire capital's municipal, police, transportation, and even space-based reconnaissance systems!
In the command room, all the Dragon Shadow members subconsciously held their breath.
They looked at Su Che's young yet terrifyingly calm face, as if they were looking at a monster.
Lieutenant General Peng stared at Su Che like this for a full ten seconds.
He didn't see any hesitation or madness, only absolute confidence.
A confidence based on absolute strength, a disdain for everything regarding the enemy.
"Good."
Lieutenant General Peng slowly spat out one word.
He walked over to the red secure phone, didn't dial, and instead pressed the button at the very top.
The call connected.
"It's me, Peng Dehai."
"Initiate 'Great Wall' Level 1 response."
"Yes, Level 1."
"I need an authorization, the highest authorization that will allow Engineer Su to temporarily take over the entire data flow of the capital."
The other end of the line was silent for a moment, seemingly shocked by the weight of this request.
Lieutenant General Peng's voice deepened.
"Reason?"
"Sakura Country's 'Amaterasu' has entered."
"Target, Su Che."
"I need a mousetrap, a trap that can sweep up all the rats in one go."
"Engineer Su is the one who builds the trap."
On the other end of the line, there was no more hesitation.
"Authorization will be sent to your terminal in three minutes."
"Additionally, people from the Ministry of State Security are coming over immediately; they will bring the final data authorization disk."
Hanging up the phone, Lieutenant General Peng looked at Su Che with complex eyes.
"Kid, you're playing a bit too big."
Su Che grinned, revealing a mouthful of white teeth.
"If it isn't big enough, how can I wipe out this nest of rats that can't see the light of day?"
Twenty minutes later.
The command room's alloy door slid open.
A man around fifty years old, wearing a dark Zhongshan suit, with a straight posture and meticulously combed hair, walked in quickly, surrounded by a group of men in black with equally cold temperaments.
He had no general's stars on his shoulders, but his aura of natural authority was no less than Lieutenant General Peng's.
"Old Peng, you've really poked a hole in the sky this time."
The man spoke, his voice deep and steady.
Lieutenant General Peng said in a deep voice, "Old Qin, I'll leave the safety of Su Che to you, Ministry of State Security."
The person who arrived was none other than the second-in-command of the Beijing Ministry of State Security, Deputy Director Qin.
Deputy Director Qin nodded slightly, his gaze as sharp as a falcon's, sweeping across the room before finally landing on Su Che.
"I have already transferred Qin Lan and Gao Jian, who protected him in Su Family Village, back to the core team; they are familiar with the person and the situation, which is the safest approach."
As soon as he finished speaking, two familiar figures stepped out from behind him.
It was Qin Lan and Gao Jian.
After not seeing them for a while, the two of them appeared even more capable, and their eyes were sharper.
When they saw Su Che, they weren't surprised in the slightest; they immediately stood at attention and saluted.
"Engineer Su."
Su Che nodded at them, acknowledging the greeting.
"The authorization has come down."
Deputy Director Qin handed a data disk to Lieutenant General Peng.
"The Beijing Public Security System's Sky Net database, real-time data from municipal traffic management networks, signaling data from the three major carriers... everything you can think of, the authorization is all here."
He paused and looked at Su Che, his eyes carrying a hint of scrutiny.
"Engineer Su, my people will cooperate with you to carry out the ground sweep."
"But I need to know, what exactly is your 'mousetrap'?"
Su Che didn't speak, but walked to the main console and connected his military terminal.
"Everyone, please look."
In the center of the command room, on the huge electronic sandbox, the three-dimensional map of the capital instantly changed.
Countless lines representing subways, utility tunnels, electricity, and communications lit up from underground, like the veins of the city.
On the surface, millions of surveillance cameras turned into flickering dots of light, forming an invisible Sky Net.
"There are twelve members of 'Amaterasu' in total, all top-tier agents who know how to avoid conventional surveillance and how to disguise themselves."
Su Che's voice rang out in the quiet command room.
"Therefore, we are not looking for 'people'."
His fingers tapped on the keyboard.
"We are looking for 'anomalies'."
"For a normal citizen, their movement patterns, consumption habits, and communication patterns all have a fixed 'model' when faced with big data."
"And these twelve outsiders, no matter how they disguise themselves, cannot perfectly integrate into a megacity with a population of twenty million in such a short time."
"They are like 'BUGS' in the code, 'noise' in the data stream."
Su Che looked up at Deputy Director Qin, who was completely captivated by his theory.
"My system is not about identifying their faces."
"It is about building a real-time, four-dimensional (three-dimensional space + one-dimensional time) city data model."
"In this model, any data disturbance that does not conform to local 'behavioral logic' will be instantly marked and magnified."
"If they hide in the sewers, the sewer flow data will be abnormal."
"If they cut the power to sneak in, the power grid load in that area will be abnormal."
"Even if they do nothing and just stay in an empty room, that room's 'zero interaction' status is itself an anomaly!"
"They think they are salt that has disappeared into the water."
Su Che's eyes were cold, his tone laced with ice.
"And what I'm going to do is boil the entire ocean instantly."
"The salt will precipitate out on its own."
The command room was dead silent.
Deputy Director Qin looked at the unimaginably massive data model, a fine layer of cold sweat seeping from his forehead.
This was no longer just a 'mousetrap'.
This was... God's eye view.
"Initiate it."
Lieutenant General Peng's voice broke the silence.
"Yes."
Su Che pressed the final Enter key heavily.
["Sky Eye" City Shadow Scanning System, initiated!]
[Connecting to "Sky Eye" phased array radar...]
[Performing environmental disturbance level scanning...]
[Building four-dimensional data model...]
"Hum—!"
All the servers in the command room emitted a low roar simultaneously!
On the electronic sandbox, that massive map of the capital began to be frantically rendered and filled with massive data streams!
Everyone held their breath, staring fixedly at the screen.
One second.
Two seconds.
Ten seconds.
"Beep!"
A crisp notification sound rang out.
The massive data model froze instantly.
Immediately after.
On the map, twelve scarlet dots representing "highest threat" were simultaneously marked in various corners of the city!
"Found them!"
Gao Jian shouted excitedly!
Deputy Director Qin also clenched his fists, immediately about to order an arrest.
However, Su Che stared at the screen, his brows furrowing tightly.
"Something's wrong."
He muttered to himself.
Qin Lan immediately asked, "What's wrong? Is the data incorrect?"
"No, the data is correct."
Su Che reached out and pointed to another place on the screen, outside of those twelve red dots.
In the underground parking lot of the Ministry of State Security headquarters.
A dot, also scarlet but with a completely different flashing frequency, was glowing quietly there.
"'Amaterasu' is not twelve people."
Su Che's voice made the air in the entire command room freeze.
"It's thirteen."
