84: Chapter 84 The Game of the Old Gods? No, this is my slaughterhouse!

Su Che, however, acted as if he hadn't heard Lieutenant General Peng's warning.

He pulled over a chair, sat down, and leaned back, his body relaxed.

"General, don't be nervous."

He grinned at Lieutenant General Peng, revealing a set of white teeth.

"After beating the dog, one has to listen to what the dog's owner has to say, don't you think?"

With that, he extended a finger and pressed the green connect button.

There was no image, only a voice processed through a quantum encrypted channel coming from the speaker.

It was the voice of a young man, his Mandarin as standard as a news anchor's, but every word exuded an inherent, undisguised arrogance.

"Mr. Su, good evening."

"You have caused big trouble."

The person on the other end did not identify themselves; the opening was simple and direct, carrying a condescending, judgmental tone.

In the command room, Deputy Director Qin and all the Ministry of State Security personnel subconsciously reached for the weapons at their waists.

Su Che, however, smiled.

He picked up an unopened bottle of mineral water from the table, twisted it open, and took a sip.

"Oh? Why didn't I know that?"

He replied slowly, "I was just sweeping up some trash in my own yard a moment ago. Did the noise get a bit too loud and disturb you?"

On the other end of the line, there was silence for a full five seconds.

It seemed they hadn't expected Su Che to respond to their "divine" inquiry with the tone of a street thug.

"Mr. Su, you are very humorous."

For the first time, there was a hint of emotion in the young man's voice—a coldness born of being offended.

"Ida Heavy Industries is an important partner of 'Prometheus' in the Asian region. What you destroyed is not just a company, but an order we have operated for thirty years."

"Anyone who disrupts order must pay the price."

"Order?"

Su Che scoffed, as if he had heard the funniest joke of the century.

"Your order is using technological barriers as a dog leash to choke the world, allowing you so-called 'masters' to suck blood in peace?"

"Sorry, but your outdated way of playing should be thrown into the dustbin of history."

"Now, I'm at the table."

"I will set the rules of the game."

"How dare you!"

The voice on the other end was finally completely enraged, and that layer of elegant disguise was torn to shreds.

"Su Che! Do you think that just because you made a piece of junk chip, you are qualified to challenge us?"

"That stupid woman Jiang Yingxue thinks too highly of you! You are nothing but a lucky savage!"

Jiang Yingxue.

Upon hearing this name, Su Che's eyes flickered slightly.

This guy was likely the leader of the hardline faction within the Tech Alliance that Jiang Yingxue had mentioned to him before.

"It seems your internal assessment of me isn't very unified."

Su Che shifted to a more comfortable position and crossed his legs.

"How about this, I'll give you a chance."

"Right now, immediately, lift all technological blockades against Dragon Nation, and publicly apologize and provide compensation to Dragon Nation regarding the 'Amaterasu' project."

"I might consider only wiping Ida Heavy Industries off the face of the earth, and not bringing the fire to your 'Prometheus' backyard."

"You... you are declaring war on us!"

"No."

Su Che shook his finger and corrected him.

"This is not a declaration of war."

He paused, and every word, though not loud, landed like heavy hammers, smashing fiercely into the hearts of everyone in the command room.

"This is a unilateral... slaughter notice."

After saying this, he didn't give the other side any chance to respond.

"Click!"

He hung up the communication directly.

Lieutenant General Peng and Deputy Director Qin looked at Su Che's excessively young face, wanting to say something, but couldn't utter a word.

In their entire lives, they had never seen anyone so arrogant!

That was 'Prometheus'!

It was a shadow empire capable of influencing the national policy of the Eagle Nation, and even starting a world war!

This kid actually... notified the other side to prepare to be slaughtered?

"Engineer... Engineer Su..." Deputy Director Qin said with difficulty, "Should we... prepare to face... their all-out retaliation?"

"Retaliation?"

Su Che stood up, walked to the main console where the battle had just ended, personally unplugged the adapter, and carefully removed the deep blue chip.

A researcher who had been waiting nearby immediately used a special temperature-controlled, shockproof metal box to solemnly store it away.

After doing all this, Su Che turned around, his eyes showing no trace of worry, but rather a sense of eagerness to try.

"I'm afraid they won't come."

Through the metal box, he gently touched the deep blue chip.

"General, Director Qin."

"The cyberwar that just happened, it looks like we won."

"But in essence, we just used one bullet to break through one of the enemy's windows."

"We only have one bullet."

Su Che's gaze swept over everyone present.

"And the enemy has a fortress as solid as metal."

He withdrew his hand, turned around, and his expression became serious again.

"This chip is a unique piece that we barely managed to create in the laboratory using a 'rice cooker' over the course of twelve full hours."

"Its birth was full of contingency; it cannot be replicated, let alone mass-produced."

"One chip cannot change a war."

"We need thousands and thousands of them."

"We need to let the 'Dragon Chip', like bullets, be installed in every computer, every aircraft, and every warship of our nation!"

Lieutenant General Peng and President Liu Qianghua, who had arrived at some point, found their breathing instantly becoming rapid.

They understood what Su Che meant.

"But... we don't have the equipment for mass production."

President Liu Qianghua stated the most cruel reality.

"That 'God's Slingshot', in the end, is just a prototype in a laboratory full of miraculous colors."

"Correct."

Su Che nodded, and in his eyes, a flame burned even more intensely than when he was facing 'Prometheus' just moments ago.

"So, the next step."

"We must build a real 'God's Money Printer' that can industrialize miracles!"

His gaze seemed to pierce through the laboratory ceiling, seeing the sky that had been shrouded by technological hegemony for decades.

"The Eagle Nation relies on EUV lithography machines to monopolize the chip industry and choke us?"

"It doesn't matter. We are going to build one that even they cannot comprehend... one that can directly skip EUV limitations and achieve atomic-level lithography..."

Su Che walked to the tactical board, picked up a pen, and wrote down five big characters.

"Quantum Lithography Machine!"

In his mind, the mechanical voice of the system that Su Che had been expecting sounded at the right moment.
