126: Chapter 126 The Tomb of the Azure Emperor Appears

Within the Undying Mountain.

Chu Tianjiao's figure appeared in the courtyard once again.

Seeing him return, Xiao Nannan hurriedly went to greet him.

“Teacher, did you find it?”

Chu Tianjiao nodded and took out the half-section of the charred Desolate Tower.

“I found it. It was in the Ancient Desolate Forbidden Zone, kept by that Sacred Body.”

Xiao Nannan looked at the charred half of the tower, a hint of curiosity flashing in her eyes.

“This is the Desolate Tower?”

Chu Tianjiao nodded.

“Yes. It's the half brought back from the Chaotic Ancient Era.”

The Willow Deity walked over, her gaze falling upon the Desolate Tower. A flicker of complex emotion passed through her eyes.

“Is Little Tower... still inside?”

Chu Tianjiao fell silent for a moment.

“I'm not sure. Back then at the Ancient Chaotic Battlefield, Little Tower was shattered to protect Senior Willow Deity. Whether any of Little Tower's spiritual consciousness remains in this half of the tower, I do not know.”

The Willow Deity remained silent, saying nothing.

Chu Tianjiao looked at her and said softly, “Rest assured, Senior. If there is an opportunity, I will find a way to repair Little Tower.”

The Willow Deity looked up at him, a hint of gratitude flashing in her eyes.

“Thank you.”

Chu Tianjiao waved his hand.

“It is only right.”

He looked at the Desolate Tower in his hand, lost in thought.

“Right now, the most urgent matter is to get the Azure Emperor out.”

He paused and continued, “The Azure Emperor buried himself in the tower, hoping to use it to evolve a Minor Immortal Realm. But this path is too difficult, and he is trapped inside. I need to find a way to give him a hand.”

Xiao Nannan looked at him.

“Does Teacher have a way?”

Chu Tianjiao thought for a moment.

“There is a way, but it requires preparing some things.”

He didn't elaborate, simply putting away the Desolate Tower and sitting down at the stone table.

“No rush. Ye Fan still needs time; we can take it slowly.”

Xiao Nannan nodded and sat down beside him.

The Willow Deity also sat down opposite them.

The Ancient Kirin Emperor remained as leisurely as ever, sipping enlightenment tea while watching them.

As the night deepened, the branches and leaves of the ancient tea tree of enlightenment swayed gently in the night breeze.

Chu Tianjiao looked up toward the depths of the starry sky.

There, Ye Fan was still studying hard in the Lingxu Cave-Heaven.

There, Ji Zi was still slumbering within the God Source.

There, countless more Prodigies were waiting for the arrival of this Golden Age.

He spoke softly.

“This era will be magnificent.”

Xiao Nannan leaned against his shoulder and gave a soft “Mm.”

The Willow Deity smiled faintly.

The Ancient Kirin Emperor raised his teacup.

“Magnificent is good; it makes all these years of waiting worthwhile.”

...

One year later.

Days in the Undying Mountain were peaceful and long.

Chu Tianjiao did nothing else, simply waiting quietly. Occasionally he would check Ye Fan's cultivation progress in the Void Water Mirror, discuss the Dao with the Willow Deity, drink tea with the Ancient Kirin Emperor, or chat with Xiao Nannan.

A year passed just like that.

On this day, Chu Tianjiao was sitting at the stone table under the ancient tea tree of enlightenment, a cup of clear tea in his hand, but his gaze was fixed on the Void Water Mirror.

In the water mirror, the Disciples of Lingxu Cave-Heaven were busy with something.

“There's movement,” he said softly.

Xiao Nannan walked out of the house to his side and followed his gaze to the water mirror.

“That is...”

“The Tomb of the Azure Emperor,” Chu Tianjiao smiled faintly. “It's about to emerge.”

The Willow Deity also walked over, standing to the side and quietly watching the images in the water mirror.

The Ancient Kirin Emperor strolled over slowly, holding a cup of tea.

“The Azure Emperor? That last Great Emperor?”

Chu Tianjiao nodded.

“He left his tomb in the Southern Region. His descendants are buried within, along with his Imperial Weapon—the chaotic azure lotus.”

The Ancient Kirin Emperor raised an eyebrow.

“An Imperial Weapon? Good stuff.”

Chu Tianjiao laughed.

“Good stuff indeed. But that item has an owner; the Azure Emperor's descendant, Yan Ruyu, will come to claim it.”

He paused, his gaze falling on two young figures in the water mirror.

“Interestingly, people from the Ji Family have also arrived.”

In the water mirror, two young people, a man and a woman, were rushing toward the Tomb of the Azure Emperor. The man was handsome as jade with an extraordinary bearing, divine light faintly swirling around him. The girl was lively and playful, her large eyes darting around, clearly a clever one.

“Ji Haoyue, Ji Ziyue,” Chu Tianjiao softly spoke their names. “The descendants of Ji Xukong.”

Xiao Nannan looked at the two young people, a hint of complex emotion in her eyes.

Ji Xukong's child was still sleeping in the God Source, yet his descendants had already grown to this level.

Time had truly passed for far, far too long.

Before the Tomb of the Azure Emperor, many people had already gathered.

Several Half-step Great Powers were working together to break the Restrictions outside the tomb. Their Qi surged as they unleashed various Divine Abilities and Magic Treasures, clashing violently with the Restriction.

Ye Fan and Pang Bo were also mixed in the crowd, watching from a distance.

After a year, Ye Fan's cultivation had made significant progress. He was still in the Wheel Sea Realm, but his Bitter Sea had stabilized, and his Divine Bridge was being built bit by bit. Although he was still some distance from the Dao Palace, he was much stronger than he had been a year ago.

“Ye Fan, what do you think is in that tomb?” Pang Bo asked in a low voice.

Ye Fan shook his head.

“I don't know. But for so many big shots to take action, it definitely isn't simple.”

Just then, he felt a gaze fall upon him.

He turned to look and saw a young girl standing not far away. She was about fifteen or sixteen, lively and lovely, her large eyes sizing him up with curiosity.

Seeing Ye Fan look over, she didn't hide, but instead winked at him.

Ye Fan was stunned for a moment, then looked away.

“Who's that girl?” Pang Bo also saw her and muttered under his breath.

Ye Fan shook his head.

“Don't know her.”

In the crowd, Ji Haoyue stood quietly, his gaze on the Half-step Great Powers who were breaking the Restriction. His sister, Ji Ziyue, stood beside him, looking around restlessly.

“Brother, do you think there's really an Imperial Weapon in that tomb?” Ji Ziyue asked softly.

Ji Haoyue didn't answer, simply shaking his head gently.

The Restriction grew weaker and weaker.

Finally—

“Boom!”

With a massive roar, the gates of the Tomb of the Azure Emperor burst open.

The moment the tomb opened, the crowd swarmed inside.

Ye Fan and Pang Bo also rushed in. Their cultivation was low, so they didn't dare compete with the big shots, hoping only to pick up some scraps.

The interior of the tomb was vast, filled with ruined palaces and ancient formation patterns. In the deepest part, a green lotus floated quietly, emitting a faint glow.

The chaotic azure lotus.

The Azure Emperor's Imperial Weapon.

In the crowd, a woman in white suddenly made her move, her body turning into a streak of light as she charged straight for the green lotus.

Yan Ruyu.

The descendant of the Azure Emperor.

Her speed was incredibly fast, reaching the chaotic azure lotus in an instant. With a wave of her hand, the green lotus fell into her grasp.

“How bold!”

Several Half-step Great Powers shouted in anger and attacked simultaneously.

Yan Ruyu remained calm, gently shaking the chaotic azure lotus in her hand. A wave of green light swept out, blocking all of their attacks.

Then her figure flickered, and she disappeared from the spot with the chaotic azure lotus.

“Chase her!”

The Half-step Great Powers gave chase.

In the chaos, Ye Fan spotted a rusty iron fragment on the ground. He didn't know what it was, but feeling it was somewhat strange, he picked it up and tucked it into his robe.
