75: Chapter 75 You smell of her!

Seeing Xiao Shitou's figure disappear beyond the barrier of Undying Mountain, Chu Tianjiao's tense nerves finally relaxed slightly. He let out a long sigh and subconsciously rubbed his aching waist, his face full of the exhaustion of a survivor.

Being 'punished' by Xiao Nannan in turns these past few days, even as a True Immortal with a deep Origin, he found it somewhat hard to withstand.

He originally intended to take advantage of Xiao Shitou's departure to stay quiet for a while, drink a cup of tea, and relax. But before he could even reach the stone table, the door was gently pushed open.

A slender figure walked in. Xiao Nannan was wearing a pure white dress, her long hair draped over her shoulders, and her skin was as white as jade. Her eyes carried the laziness and gentleness of someone who had just woken up, making her look like a completely different person from the dominant and overbearing Contemporary Great Emperor she usually was.

But in Chu Tianjiao's eyes, this gentle appearance was more terrifying than any vicious fiend.

His whole body stiffened, and a layer of cold sweat instantly broke out on his back. He hurriedly squeezed out a fawning smile and stepped forward to greet her: "Nannan, weren't you resting? How did you wake up so soon?"

"I've slept for a day, it's time to get up and move around a bit." Xiao Nannan's tone was gentle as she walked slowly toward Chu Tianjiao.

Her gaze swept lightly over him, but the moment the distance between them closed, her footsteps suddenly stopped, and her brows furrowed slightly.

Before Chu Tianjiao could react, Xiao Nannan leaned forward slightly and sniffed his collar and sleeves. Her manner was like she was investigating something suspicious.

A moment later, her eyes instantly turned cold. Her gentle smile vanished without a trace, replaced by intense anger and jealousy.

She suddenly reached out and grabbed Chu Tianjiao's collar with such force that it almost deformed. Her voice trembled as she questioned: "Why is there the scent of another woman on you?!"

Chu Tianjiao's heart skipped a beat, and he thought to himself that things were bad; he had forgotten that the herbal fragrance and life essence of the Willow Deity still lingered on his body.

He hurriedly waved his hands, his expression panicked, and tried to soothe her with an urgent tone:

"A misunderstanding! Nannan, this is all a misunderstanding! I just went to find Senior Willow Deity to comprehend the Dao and discuss its mysteries. It's really not what you think. Don't be impulsive, let's talk this out!"

"A misunderstanding?" Xiao Nannan sneered, her fingers tightening even more. The jealousy in her eyes was almost overflowing.

"What kind of Dao comprehension leaves you covered in her fragrance? And there's a faint milky scent in this smell; clearly, it only comes from leaning close together! Bastard! Is it that I'm not good enough? Is it that I can't satisfy you? So you ran to someone else's arms to seek comfort?!"

She became more agitated as she spoke, and her accumulated grievances and anger instantly erupted.

Fifty thousand years of widowhood followed by ten years of ceaseless demands—now that she finally had something on him, how could she hold back?

"Don't even think about running today! I must punish you properly!" After Xiao Nannan finished speaking, she ignored Chu Tianjiao's bitter pleas and dragged him by his collar straight toward the bed.

Chu Tianjiao's face was full of despair. His hands flailed wildly in the air, but he couldn't break free from Xiao Nannan's restraint at all. He wailed incessantly:

"Nannan, spare my life! I really know I was wrong! I won't dare to do it again! Senior Willow Deity really was just helping me replenish my blood and Qi!"

But Xiao Nannan was completely unmoved. Her eyes were firm, and her strength didn't diminish in the slightest as she forcibly dragged the hopeless-looking Chu Tianjiao onto the bed.

The door was gently closed, isolating everything from the outside world, leaving only Chu Tianjiao's desperate sighs and Xiao Nannan's angry whispers to echo slowly within the room.

...

Three days later.

The door was pushed open with a "creak," and Chu Tianjiao walked out with a hunched back, looking physically and mentally exhausted.

His eyes were bloodshot, his face was as pale as paper, and his footsteps were so unsteady he almost fell. His True Immortal aura was dim and lusterless, and he couldn't even straighten his back. It was as if all his energy and spirit had been drained away.

"No way! Absolutely not! I must leave for a far-off place! If I stay any longer, even a True Immortal's Origin won't be able to save my kidneys!" Chu Tianjiao leaned against the wall, gritting his teeth, his eyes full of determination.

He secretly made up his mind to quietly leave Undying Mountain and find a place to recover for a while. Once Xiao Nannan's anger subsided, he would come back to apologize.

But just as he reached the center of the courtyard, before he had time to set up a concealment Formation, a familiar figure appeared before him.

Xiao Nannan leaned against the doorframe with her arms crossed, a half-smile on her face. She stared at him with cold eyes, her tone carrying a bit of playfulness:

"Teacher, where are you going? You just finished being 'punished' by me, and now you want to run?"

Chu Tianjiao's whole body stiffened, the color instantly draining from his face. He turned to run back, but Xiao Nannan's figure had already flashed, blocking his path. She grabbed his back collar and lifted him up like a little chick.

"Run? Why aren't you running anymore?" Xiao Nannan sneered and dragged Chu Tianjiao back to the room again. "It seems three days of punishment wasn't enough. Today, I'll make you remember once and for all who your wife is!"

Over the next few days, Chu Tianjiao once again fell into "dire straits."

It wasn't until he was completely unable to hold on, without even the strength to lift a hand, that Xiao Nannan finally restrained herself slightly.

With no other way out, Chu Tianjiao could only drag his broken body toward the Willow Deity's room once more.

His only hope now was that the Willow Deity could save his life, help him replenish his blood and Qi, and more importantly, suppress Xiao Nannan.

Inside the Willow Deity's room, the soundproofing Formation was still intact.

Like finding a life-saving straw, Chu Tianjiao threw himself into the Willow Deity's embrace, holding her tightly and greedily absorbing the herbal fragrance and life aura from her body.

The Willow Deity shook her head helplessly. Strands of emerald-green life essence condensed at her fingertips and were slowly injected into Chu Tianjiao's body, nourishing his depleted Origin and energy.

Once the energy in his body had recovered slightly, Chu Tianjiao looked up, his face full of grievance and accusation as he poured out his woes to the Willow Deity:

"Senior Willow Deity, you don't know, Nannan is becoming more and more excessive! That once gentle and well-behaved Xiao Nannan is now only thinking about dragging me to conceive offspring."

"She doesn't give me a chance to breathe at all. If this continues, even if I am a True Immortal, I'll be drained to death by her, and even my cultivation will be neglected!"

He looked at the Willow Deity pitifully, his eyes full of entreaty:

"Senior Willow Deity, please let me stay here with you! Only you can suppress Nannan; only you can save me! You wouldn't want to see me delay the grand plan to rescue Senior Shi Hao or hinder the progress of reaching the Red Dust Immortal stage because of such matters, would you?"

The Willow Deity looked at his miserable state and listened to his accusations, letting out a soft sigh.

She also knew that Xiao Nannan was indeed being a bit too extreme and lacking in moderation. Over time, it would indeed affect Chu Tianjiao's cultivation and Origin.

"Nannan is indeed being a bit excessive. In her eagerness for success, she has lost her sense of propriety."

The Willow Deity's tone was gentle as she lightly patted his head. "In that case, you may stay here with me. Coincidentally, during these five hundred years I've spent patrolling the various Star Domains, I have some questions regarding the remnants of the Era of Desolate Era and the traces of the Emperor-Lord that I wish to consult you about."

Hearing the Willow Deity agree, a look of wild joy instantly appeared on Chu Tianjiao's face. He nodded repeatedly like a chick pecking at grain:

"Thank you, Senior Willow Deity! Thank you, Senior Willow Deity! As long as Senior has any questions, I will tell you everything I know without reservation!"

And so, Chu Tianjiao settled into the Willow Deity's room with a clear conscience.

The Willow Deity's room was simply and quietly furnished, and with the soundproofing Formation isolating it from the outside, no matter how overbearing Xiao Nannan was, she wouldn't dare to easily intrude upon the Willow Deity's residence.

Upon learning that Chu Tianjiao was hiding in the Willow Deity's room and refusing to come out, Xiao Nannan was fuming with rage.

Several times she rushed to the Willow Deity's door, pounding on it forcefully, wanting to break in and take her teacher back. But each time, she was blocked by the Formation the Willow Deity had set up, and was even suppressed by the faint Immortal King Dao principles released by the Willow Deity, unable to even get close to the door.

Although the Willow Deity's strength was not even a tenth of what it once was and she had yet to return to her Peak, her insights into Immortal King-level Dao principles and her mastery of Formations remained.

Even though Xiao Nannan was a Contemporary Great Emperor with a Perfection Chaos Body and had half a foot in the Immortal Dao, there was still a significant gap between her and the Willow Deity; she was simply no match for her.

One day, Xiao Nannan came to the Willow Deity's door once again, pounding on it with both hands. her voice was crisp and angry, her fury palpable even through the Formation:

"Open the door! Willow Deity! Open the door for me!"

"You have the nerve to steal my man, but not the nerve to open the door? Do you think just because you are an Immortal King Senior, you can do whatever you want? Open the door and give Teacher back to me!"

"Teacher is mine! No one can take him away! You're an outsider, what right do you have to monopolize my teacher?!"
