92: Chapter 92 The Terrifying Realm of Immortals
Various Divine Abilities, secret techniques, and Emperor Weapons poured down toward Chu Tianjiao like a violent storm. That power was too terrifying; even the barrier set up by the human emperor banner was trembling violently, as if it would shatter at any moment.
The starry sky was torn apart, the Great Dao wailed, and the River of Time was struck into manifestation, its waves splashing everywhere.
Standing at the edge of the battlefield, Xiao Shitou saw this scene, and his heart nearly jumped into his throat. A combined strike from over twenty Supremes in a state of Ultimate Sublimation—if it were him, he would probably be blasted into dust in an instant.
Can Teacher block it?
He clenched his fists, his golden blood Qi circulating frantically within his body, ready to charge in at any moment.
However—
Chu Tianjiao smiled.
That smile was exactly the same as when he attained the Dao at eight hundred years old.
Arrogant.
Domineering.
Looking down upon the world.
"Now this is more like it."
He spoke softly, and then—
He moved.
Without dodging or yielding, he stepped forward, facing the sky-covering attacks that were enough to destroy a galaxy!
The Tyrant Blade was raised, and a slash was delivered!
This strike was simple and unadorned.
There was no sky-high blade light, no deafening roar, only a faint, almost invisible blade mark cutting through the Void Realm.
But it was this very strike that slashed onto that blood-colored war spear.
*Crack—*
The blood-colored war spear shattered instantly, turning into countless fragments that flew in all directions. The expression on the face of the Supreme in blood-colored armor froze; he looked down at his chest—there, at some point, a thin blade mark had appeared.
"How..."
Before he could finish his sentence, his body, along with his Primordial Spirit, began to crumble inch by inch from the blade mark, turning into a cloud of blood mist.
One strike, another kill.
Chu Tianjiao did not stop.
He turned and delivered another backhanded strike.
This strike slashed toward that giant sky-opening axe. The giant axe shattered, the golden divine light dissipated, and that Supreme let out a muffled groan as dense cracks appeared on his Emperor's body. He widened his eyes, wanting to say something, but could not utter a single word.
*Bang—*
His body exploded, Emperor Blood splashing and staining the Supremes nearby.
Two strikes, two kills.
"It's your turn."
Chu Tianjiao's gaze swept toward that black devil domain, that lightning dragon, and those sky-covering skeletons. He raised his left hand, fingers spread, and made a phantom grasping motion toward the black devil domain.
"Suppress."
His words became Law.
That black devil domain, capable of swallowing stars, froze instantly and then exploded with a roar, like a crushed egg. The black Devilish Qi scattered, revealing the terrified Supreme inside.
"No—"
He only had time to let out a scream before being swatted into blood mist by a casual palm strike from Chu Tianjiao.
Three kills.
Chu Tianjiao withdrew his left hand, and his right hand slashed out with the Tyrant Blade once more.
This strike slashed toward that lightning dragon. Wherever the blade passed, the lightning melted like snow, disintegrating inch by inch. That Lightning Supreme wanted to flee, but no matter how fast he was, he could not outrun the lock-on of the Immortal Dao Laws.
*Puchi—*
The blade light flashed past, his head flew high, and his Primordial Spirit was extinguished in a single strike.
Four kills.
Then came the sky-covering skeletons. Chu Tianjiao didn't even use his blade; he simply opened his mouth and inhaled, and those skeletons, along with the ghost fires they carried, were all swallowed into his stomach to be refined by his Chaos Body.
The Supreme holding the bone staff let out a shrill scream; his natal Divine Ability was broken, and the backlash caused him to spit out a large mouthful of Emperor Blood on the spot. Before he could react, Chu Tianjiao had already appeared before him.
"You... you are a devil..."
He murmured, his eyes full of fear.
Chu Tianjiao did not answer, simply raising his hand and pressing it onto the top of his head.
*Bang—*
Five kills.
In just a few breaths, five Supremes in a state of Ultimate Sublimation had fallen.
The Starry Sky Battlefield fell once again into a deathly silence.
The remaining twenty Supremes were all stunned in place, their faces written with terror. They looked at the figure holding the Tyrant Blade as if they were looking at a god of death walking out of Hell.
"How... how can this be..."
A Supreme murmured, his voice trembling.
"Impossible... this is absolutely impossible..."
Another Supreme subconsciously took a step back.
In the distance, Xiao Shitou watched with boiling blood and immense shock.
He had never seen a battle like this.
No, this was no longer a battle; this was a slaughter.
Facing over twenty Supremes in Ultimate Sublimation, his teacher was not "fighting" them, but "harvesting" them. The Divine Abilities, secret techniques, and Emperor Weapons those Supremes took pride in were as fragile as child's play before his teacher.
One strike, one kill.
One palm, one kill.
One grasp, one kill.
It wasn't some intense life-and-death struggle; it was a one-sided crushing.
"Teacher... just what Realm are you in..."
Xiao Shitou murmured, his eyes full of fanaticism and admiration. He had known since he was a child that his teacher was strong, but it wasn't until today that he truly saw what his teacher looked like when he got serious.
It was a level of strength that left him far behind.
In the center of the battlefield, Chu Tianjiao flicked the Emperor Blood off the Tyrant Blade and swept his gaze over the remaining twenty Supremes.
"Who else?"
His voice was calm, yet it exploded like thunder in the heart of every Supreme.
No one dared to move.
No one dared to respond.
Those Emperors and Sovereigns who once suppressed an era and looked down upon the world were now shivering like frightened quails.
Seeing this, a mocking smile curled on Chu Tianjiao's lips.
"Where is that Aura from before? Weren't you going to devour me? Come on."
He took a step forward.
The remaining Supremes retreated a step in unison.
"You don't dare?"
He took another step.
The Supremes retreated another step.
"Trash."
Chu Tianjiao shook his head, his eyes full of disappointment.
"You slashed yourselves and lived ignobly in the restricted zones, devouring all living beings just to live a few more years. But when it's truly time to risk your lives, every single one of you turns into such a coward."
"With characters like yours, you deserve to be called Emperors? You deserve to be called Sovereigns?"
He raised the Tyrant Blade, the blade tip pointing at those twenty Supremes.
"Since you don't dare to come forward, then I will."
As his voice fell, he moved.
This time, it was no longer testing, no longer playing around, but a true—slaughter.
His speed was fast to the extreme; those Supremes couldn't see his movements at all, only a blurred stream of light weaving through the starry sky. Every time it passed through, a Supreme would scream and fall.
"Ah—"
The first Supreme was split in two by a single strike.
"No—"
The second Supreme had his head crushed by a single palm.
"Spare my life—"
The third Supreme didn't finish his words before his chest was pierced by a single punch.
One strike, one palm, one punch, one finger, one kick...
Chu Tianjiao used various methods to harvest the lives of these Supremes. With every move, a Supreme fell. Emperor Blood fell like rain, and the wailing of the Great Dao echoed through the universe, yet those Supremes didn't even have the courage to run away.
Their courage had been completely shattered.
In the distance, Xiao Shitou watched, dumbfounded.
He had never imagined that those Supremes he once looked up to, fought bitterly against, and had to risk his life to defeat would be like ants before his teacher.
"So... is this the gap between an Immortal and a mortal..."
