57: Chapter 57 Are you stupid?

The boy and his two lackeys stared at the fireball with anticipation, waiting to see Lin Fan burned to a crisp.

Boom!

The fireball slammed heavily into the spot where Lin Fan had just been standing, emitting a loud bang as smoke, dust, and debris shot into the air.

This area was near the outskirts of Baiyun City and was usually deserted, so they weren't worried that the commotion would attract anyone.

After all, what sane person would voluntarily head toward the sound of an explosion?

Furthermore, most people living on the outskirts were poor, and even if they knew they were mages, they wouldn't dare criticize them.

"Did it hit?"

"There's too much smoke, I can't see anything. Do you think that guy got blown to death?"

The two Red-Cloaked Boys whispered to each other, craning their necks to try and see the situation through the thick smoke.

They had been too busy staring at the fireball and hadn't paid any attention to Lin Fan's movements.

However, the Purple-Cloaked Boy who had once been defeated by Lin Fan was staring at the smoke with a solemn expression.

For some reason, he felt that things weren't that simple... It was impossible for Lin Fan to be hit so easily.

Unlike the two lackeys, he had clearly seen that just a moment ago, the fireball was about to hit Lin Fan in the face, yet that guy had stood there without moving.

Moreover, he still had that mocking smile on his face!

"Damn bastard!"

The boy cursed inwardly, Lin Fan's punchable face flashing through his mind.

"What? Do you really think you can hit me with such a slow Fireball Technique? Even a child could easily dodge it."

Lin Fan's voice suddenly rang out from the side.

The three of them whipped their heads around to see him leaning leisurely against a dilapidated wall, arms crossed, watching them with composure.

The three of them were instantly shocked.

When did he run over there?

"What? Looking at your expressions, did you really think I would get hit by that kind of thing?"

"Sigh, no wonder our academy never gets a decent ranking in past competitions; it turns out it's because it only produces trash like you."

Lin Fan sighed with feigned regret and shook his head.

That pained expression almost made the three boys explode with anger.

Especially the Red-Cloaked Boy who had just cast the spell.

His face instantly turned livid, his teeth gnashing loudly.

"You trash, how dare you speak to me like that!"

He roared, summoned Star Patterns again, and hurled another Fireball Technique at Lin Fan.

Boom!

The fireball accurately hit the wall Lin Fan had been leaning against; the wall instantly collapsed with a roar, and the resulting sound was even more shocking than before.

But Lin Fan had long since dodged away, standing in another spot, completely unharmed.

Just like before, the three of them hadn't seen how he moved at all.

"Oh my, be a bit more polite. Don't forget, I am your senior."

Lin Fan flashed them a brilliant smile. He found teasing this group of brats quite interesting.

"Trash like you is worthy of being my senior!"

The Red-Cloaked Boy was completely enraged and launched another spell.

"Starfire Spell!"

Several clusters of faint flames, like sparks, appeared in the air, drifting lazily toward Lin Fan and surrounding him completely.

Lin Fan deliberately stood still, a relaxed smile still on his face.

His nonchalant appearance only made the boy burn with rage. He roared with all his might:

"Explode!"

A series of explosions rang out one after another, the flames turning into violent infernos around Lin Fan, the firelight and thick smoke instantly swallowing his location.

"You keep calling me trash, yet you can't even touch the corner of my clothes. Then what does that make you?"

Lin Fan's voice came from another direction once again. The three of them widened their eyes and looked over... He had dodged it again!

The Red-Cloaked Boy who had been leading the attack finally completely broke down. With veins popping on his face, he turned to look at his two companions and roared:

"What are you two still standing there for? Attack together!"

After speaking, he glared fiercely at the Purple-Cloaked Boy and said through gritted teeth:

"Aren't we here to help you get revenge? Why are you just standing there watching without doing anything?"

Seeing his companion's exasperated appearance.

The other two didn't dare to delay any longer, immediately stepping forward, summoning Star Patterns, and beginning to condense them.

Two red and one purple Star Pattern appeared in the air. The three of them prepared to join forces and launch an attack on Lin Fan together.

"Hmm, now that's more like it. Playing like this is actually a bit interesting."

Lin Fan chuckled, his expression looking increasingly relaxed.

His indifferent appearance made the three boys so angry they were about to explode on the spot.

"Fireball Technique!"

"Starfire Spell!"

"Lightning Ball!"

A fireball, several clusters of sparks ready to explode at any moment, and a sizzling Lightning Ball containing violent electric currents—three spells shot toward Lin Fan simultaneously.

Boom!

Boom!

Crackle!

The three of them attacked together.

The three spells hit the spot where Lin Fan had just been standing simultaneously, the powerful impact immediately causing a violent commotion.

"Oh my, why so much anger? Relax a bit, use more strength, otherwise it won't be fun."

Lin Fan's mocking voice rang out beside them.

The three of them followed the sound and looked over, only to see him still with his arms crossed, standing not far from them, shaking his head while looking at the place where the spells had exploded, his face full of disappointment.

Seeing this scene, the three of them almost popped their eyes out.

"He... how on earth did he dodge it? I couldn't even see his shadow at all!"

The Purple-Cloaked Boy shouted in horror in his heart.

He vaguely felt that something was wrong.

But thinking of the humiliation of losing to Lin Fan during the day, he didn't want to think deeply about it; he just wanted to beat this guy in front of him severely.

Just then.

Lin Fan turned to look at them, meeting their shocked gazes exactly.

"Yo, hello."

He smiled, blinked, and waved at them.

At this, the three boys completely lost it.

Each of them turned red in the face and neck, shaking with anger, as if they were about to explode on the spot the next second.

"You bastard! If you have the guts, don't dodge!"

One of the Red-Cloaked Boys roared at the top of his lungs.

"Hmm?"

Lin Fan raised an eyebrow and tilted his head to look at that boy. The next second, he suddenly moved.

Whoosh!

His figure flashed and disappeared before their eyes.

The next moment.

He had already appeared in front of that Red-Cloaked Boy, his palm swinging toward the other's face.

Slap!

A crisp slapping sound rang out.

The Red-Cloaked Boy was like a broken sack.

He was slapped flying heavily, crashing straight into a building nearby.

Accompanied by a loud bang.

The wall was smashed into a large hole, and the boy fell heavily to the ground.

"Are you stupid? If I didn't dodge and let you hit me so easily, what would be the point?"
