29: Chapter 29 The Mysterious Library

The three of them fled the small courtyard in a sorry state.

Originally, he had wanted to use the three of them for sharpening his skills to break through to a six-star Dou Practitioner, but who would have thought they would be so useless.

After this farce, Hun Tiandi had no desire to cultivate.

He pondered in his heart, planning his next steps, determined to become stronger as quickly as possible.

Returning to the bamboo house and lying on the bed, he thought about the road ahead and eventually fell into a sound sleep.

"Scoundrel! This Yun Tian is so arrogant!"

Senior Brother Lin Yunfeng looked at the three people before him with broken arms and legs, and was instantly enraged; they had actually disregarded his warning.

Senior Sister Liu Hanbing was a woman he had set his sights on; for a rustic country boy to dare compete with him was truly courting death.

"Go down and treat your injuries!" Senior Brother Lin Yunfeng flipped his hand, took out three bottles of healing pills, and ordered.

Internally, he felt extreme disgust toward the three of them for not being able to handle such a trivial matter.

Yet, to maintain his demeanor, he suppressed his anger and bestowed the pills.

"Yun Tian?" Senior Brother Lin Yunfeng's fists clenched until they creaked, his handsome face twisted, and a cold aura erupted from his body, shattering the tables and chairs in the bamboo house.

Having slept for the night, Hun Tiandi felt refreshed and restored to his peak state.

Creak!

Hun Tiandi got up, washed up, and pushed the door open to walk out. Standing in the small courtyard was a young woman in white, with a cold temperament like a snow lotus and a slender waist.

Her full curves were enough to make one's blood boil, and the young woman in white was looking at Hun Tiandi with anticipation.

The person who had arrived was none other than Senior Sister Liu Hanbing.

"Junior Brother Yun, did you rest well?" Senior Sister Liu Hanbing asked with concern.

"Very well, thank you, Senior Sister Liu!" Hun Tiandi said helplessly.

Senior Sister Liu Hanbing had already entered the small courtyard; he couldn't possibly chase her out. If news of him driving Senior Sister Liu Hanbing out of his courtyard were to spread,

it would offend the disciples of the Ten Thousand Swords Pavilion and cause a huge uproar.

Besides, Hun Tiandi had a good impression of Senior Sister Liu Hanbing; even though this would offend Senior Brother Lin Yunfeng, he didn't take it to heart.

A mere inner sect disciple like Senior Brother Lin Yunfeng was not enough to make Hun Tiandi compromise.

"I wonder, Senior Sister Liu, what brings you here so early in the morning?" Hun Tiandi said calmly.

Boom!

Senior Sister Liu Hanbing didn't say a word; she simply waved her large sleeve, and pots, bowls, and ladles appeared from her storage ring, landing neatly in the small courtyard.

There was even fresh magical beast meat and other ingredients.

"Junior Brother Yun, Senior Sister wants to eat your..." Ever since Senior Sister Liu Hanbing had tasted the food cooked by Hun Tiandi, she hadn't been able to swallow a single bite at the Ten Thousand Swords Pavilion's cafeteria.

Therefore, having gone hungry for a day, Senior Sister Liu Hanbing had appeared in the small courtyard at dawn.

Hun Tiandi looked at the scene before him, his eyes twitching wildly as he stared at Senior Sister Liu Hanbing.

He complained internally, "You, Senior Sister Liu Hanbing, are known as the Ice Fairy. Don't fairies not eat mortal food?"

Clang...

Although Hun Tiandi was complaining wildly in his mind, his hands and feet moved automatically. There was a clattering sound in the small courtyard, and within half an hour, four dishes and one soup were placed on the table.

The two of them devoured the food frantically. Senior Sister Liu Hanbing was quick-handed and sharp-eyed; she set aside a portion of the delicacies and put them into her storage ring.

"Junior Brother Yun, let's go to the Library together!" After eating her fill, Senior Sister Liu Hanbing smiled slightly and said.

Hun Tiandi finished cleaning up, nodded slightly upon hearing this, walked out of the small courtyard, and headed toward the Library.

Along the way, inner sect disciples greeted Senior Sister Liu Hanbing one after another, which showed that Senior Sister Liu Hanbing held a very high status in the Ten Thousand Swords Pavilion.

Not long after, the two arrived in front of the Library. An old man in black clothes and white hair was lying on a recliner, dozing off as if he were asleep.

"Library!"

The three large characters soared with sword intent, emitting a sharp force that made one's eyes tear up just by looking at them.

Hun Tiandi stared at the three large characters of the Library, as if he were placed in a world of swords, filled with endless sword intent.

The soul power in his sea of consciousness surged, breaking through the world of sword intent, and his consciousness returned.

Eh!

At some point, the white-haired old man opened his eyes. His murky gaze suddenly brightened and fell upon Hun Tiandi.

Hun Tiandi felt as if a huge mountain had landed on him; the powerful pressure made his legs bend slightly, as if he were about to kneel down in the next second.

"Grandpa Wan, are you being naughty again?" Suddenly, Senior Sister Liu Hanbing spoke up.

"Haha, how does a young girl like you have time to come see an old man like me?" The white-haired old man chuckled, looking at Senior Sister Liu Hanbing with doting eyes.

"Hee hee, I'm here to bring Grandpa Wan some delicious food!"

Senior Sister Liu Hanbing chuckled, flipped her hand to take out the delicacies from earlier, and the rich fragrance stimulated the old man's taste buds.

"The cooking isn't bad!" The white-haired old man commented.

"Grandpa Wan, you eat first; I'll accompany Junior Brother Yun into the Library!" Senior Sister Liu Hanbing said calmly.

"Go ahead!" The old man surnamed Wan, unable to take his eyes off the food, waved his hand.

The Library was a hall about a hundred zhang in size, with bookshelves arranged neatly and spaciously inside.

Various books gave the place a particularly scholarly atmosphere.

Balls of energy of various colors and shapes were suspended across the bookshelves like a sea.

Hun Tiandi grabbed at random, and a purple ball of light appeared in his hand. Looking at the characters on the scroll, he couldn't help but speak out.

"Mystic-tier high-grade cultivation method, Purple Lightning Art?"

"Cultivation method?" Senior Sister Liu Hanbing, who was beside him, was stunned, then suddenly realized.

"What kind of cultivation method do you want?" Senior Sister Liu Hanbing asked.

Hun Tiandi closed his eyes slightly, choosing from the thousands of cultivation methods in the Library. With his advantage in soul perception, he could find one that suited him.

A vast amount of soul power surged out, spreading throughout the entire hall. He stood motionless, and after ten minutes,

he suddenly opened his eyes, walked toward a bookshelf, and grabbed a transparent scroll from the third shelf.

"Basic Sword Art, Yellow-tier low-grade!"

Hun Tiandi muttered to himself, excitement appearing in his eyes; this was what he needed.

"You're crazy! Choosing the Basic Sword Art, a Yellow-tier low-grade, once you choose it, you have to wait a year to change it!"

Senior Sister Liu Hanbing looked at the scroll in Hun Tiandi's hand, her face full of anxiety.

The reason he chose the Basic Sword Art was because Hun Tiandi had his own considerations. Before long, he would become the apprentice of Tang Ying, the Pavilion Master, so he would naturally not lack high-grade cultivation methods.

However, to practice advanced sword arts, the Basic Sword Art was extremely important.

A ten-thousand-foot tower rises from the ground. Since the Ten Thousand Swords Pavilion focused on sword cultivation, the Basic Sword Art was crucial for practicing high-grade sword techniques in the future.

High-grade sword techniques and sword Dou Techniques were all derived from the Basic Sword Art.

Therefore, Hun Tiandi had chosen the Basic Sword Art without hesitation.

Senior Sister Liu Hanbing did not understand this point. In fact, it wasn't just her; even in the entire Ten Thousand Swords Pavilion, few people knew this secret.

On the Fighting Qi Continent, the usage of sword techniques, blade techniques, and other Dou Techniques was too crude.

There were even fewer who cultivated the Sword Dao and the Blade Dao. The Cloud Mist Sect, which had been destroyed by time, could be considered a sect that focused on swords.

Besides that, the Ten Thousand Swords Pavilion in the Central Plains also focused on sword cultivation. With the memories of his two lifetimes, Hun Tiandi naturally understood that in terms of killing power,

Sword cultivators are supreme!

The reason Hun Tiandi chose the sword as his future personal weapon was,

"Nothing else, sword cultivators are just cool!"

"The killing power is secondary; being cool is a lifelong matter!"

Without hesitation, he tore open the scroll. A stream of information flooded into his mind, causing a slight stinging pain, and he now understood the method of cultivating the Basic Sword Art.

Hun Tiandi put down the scroll and walked out of the Library. Senior Sister Liu Hanbing stomped her foot helplessly and followed him.

"Being young is great!"

Elder Wan at the entrance of the hall looked at the two leaving and couldn't help but sigh.
