3: Chapter 3 Before Leaving

Returning to the room.

Hun Tiandi sat on a chair, took out a pen and paper, and the sound of scratching began.

"Fresh water, tent, insect repellent, medicinal pills for healing injuries and recovering energy..."

Half an hour later, he put away the pen and paper.

He sat cross-legged on the bed, lost in thought, a trace of killing intent flashing in his eyes.

Father Yun had instructed him before dying not to seek revenge, but how could he remain indifferent to the hatred of his father's murder?

The Sky Wolf Mercenary Group was among the top three powers in Cangyun Town, with experts as numerous as clouds; its leader, Sky Wolf, had been in seclusion for a long time, wishing to break through to the Dou Master realm.

To advance to the Great Dou Master level. Its young leader, Tian Gang, was young, only twenty-five or twenty-six, and was already a two-star Dou Master.

His cultivation could be considered quite talented.

If he acted recklessly, he would suffer the consequences; what he needed to do next was to break through to the Dou Practitioner realm.

Waiting for an opportunity to slaughter the people of the Sky Wolf Mercenary Group, he would not let a single one go.

Currently, the most important thing was to improve his strength...

Hun Tiandi made up his mind and said softly: "From birth until now, I have never experienced battle or slaughter; closed-door cultivation will never make one a true expert."

"I do not lack cultivation talent; what I lack is the tempering of life and death. When life is threatened, potential will erupt like a volcano."

Thinking of this, Hun Tiandi chuckled, a saying from his previous life flowing out: "Only by being infinitely close to death can one comprehend the true meaning of life."

The station of the Sky Wolf Mercenary Group.

"Young Leader, that kid was a bit strange today. His father was killed by us, yet he showed no anger and was surprisingly calm, instead asking for the Young Leader's name?"

"If this person is not removed, there will be endless trouble!"

This person was the dog-headed strategist beside the Young Leader, Tian Gang, who had some petty cleverness.

"Oh? A ten-year-old child has such a big threat?"

To be honest, Tian Gang was used to being arrogant and domineering in Cangyun Town, so naturally, he would not take Hun Tiandi seriously.

"Young Leader, you must cut the weeds and eliminate the roots; in case..." the middle-aged man in black advised.

"Tomorrow night, send people over to get rid of that little beast and end the trouble forever!" Tian Gang pondered and ordered.

"Yes, Young Leader." The middle-aged man in black accepted the order.

In the silent night, the stars shone across the sky.

Hun Tiandi cleared his mind and began to cultivate, forming seals with his hands and slowly closing his eyes...

The path of Dou Qi cultivation is like sailing against the current; if you do not advance, you retreat.

Only by persistence can one soar into the sky.

As Hun Tiandi's breathing stabilized, the calm air around him rippled like water, and wisps of energy entered his body through his pores.

The morning sunlight spilled through the window, making the room quite bright.

On the bed, the youth opened his eyes, a flash of brilliance passing through, and he stood up to stretch.

His thin body emitted crisp cracking sounds, like roasting beans.

He simply washed up.

Hun Tiandi walked out of the room, his gaze cold, looking at the herbs in the courtyard, recalling the bits and pieces of his time with Father Yun.

His pitch-black eyes lit up with brilliance, and he clenched his fists tightly.

Taking a deep breath, he put the herbs in the courtyard into his storage ring and left the courtyard where he had lived for over ten years.

"Yun Tian, where are you going?"

As he went out, he happened to meet Uncle Li, who asked gently.

"Uncle Li, just going out for a stroll!" Hun Tiandi smiled slightly and said calmly.

"Sigh, your father was my friend. If you need any help, just tell Uncle Li!" Uncle Li sighed and said.

"Thank you, Uncle Li!" After thanking him, Hun Tiandi left, facing the morning sun.

On the spacious street, there was a heavy flow of traffic. On those magnificent carriages, emblems were imprinted. Judging from these emblems!

Hun Tiandi could recognize that most of these belonged to some forces in Cangyun Town that were not weak.

He glanced casually, then retracted his gaze, ignoring these people, and strode away.

He walked slowly on the bustling street, heading towards the auction house in the center of Cangyun Town.

...

Auction house, reception room.

Princess Nian Youyou sat gracefully on a chair, her left leg crossed over her right, revealing a section of her fair, beautiful leg beneath her purple cheongsam.

At this moment, Princess Nian Youyou was holding a long scroll of paper in her jade hand, and after looking at it for a while, she finished reading the materials on it.

She slowly raised her eyes that seemed to weep and complain, and a touch of surprise appeared on her charming cheeks.

Her beautiful eyes looked at the youth in green beside her, and she asked in astonishment: "Little Brother Yun, why did you get so many supplies needed for the wild? Are you planning to go on a long journey?"

"Yes, I am leaving Cangyun Town in these few days, and I might not return for a year or two."

Hun Tiandi said with a light smile.

"A year or two, so long?"

Hearing this, Princess Nian Youyou was stunned and said in surprise: "Leaving is fine, Tian Gang will not let you go..."

"It is nothing, just going out for training. I was born in Cangyun Town and have never gone out to take a look..." Hun Tiandi smiled indifferently, without concealing it.

Even if he wanted to hide it, he couldn't. If Princess Nian Youyou wanted to, within an hour, information about Hun Tiandi could be delivered to her.

"Please help me prepare the supplies. The cost can be deducted from this card..."

Hun Tiandi took out a pale golden card from his storage ring and handed it to Princess Nian Youyou. The card contained two hundred thousand gold coins, which were Father Yun's savings over the years.

"Alright!"

Princess Nian Youyou nodded gently, took the card, called a steward, gave him the card and the paper, and ordered him to handle it quickly.

"Magic Testing Monument?" Hun Tiandi's gaze looked at the black monument in the hall.

"Little Brother Yun, are you interested in testing it?" Princess Nian Youyou chuckled.

Hun Tiandi's pitch-black eyes flashed with a hint of divine brilliance; he stood up, stepped forward, and reached out his small hand to touch the black monument.

The next instant, the black monument shone with brilliant light.

"Dou Zhi Qi: Ninth Stage. Level: High Stage."

Looking at the characters on the monument, Princess Nian Youyou gently stroked her red lips with her jade hand, her beautiful eyes filled with disbelief.

"It is actually the Ninth Stage. How terrifying. Among the younger generation in Cangyun Town, this is top-notch. This aptitude is too scary."

Princess Nian Youyou exclaimed. It was not that she had never seen a genius, but reaching the Ninth Stage at twelve, in the future...

Dou Zhi Qi is the path that every Dou Practitioner must take; the initial stage of Dou Zhi Qi is divided into the first to the ninth stages.

When the Dou Zhi Qi in the body reaches the Ninth Stage, one can condense a Dou Qi cyclone and become a respected Dou Practitioner.

Cultivating to the Dou Practitioner realm counts as stepping into the threshold of cultivation.

"Little Brother Yun, you really surprise me. Big Sister is looking forward to seeing what realm you will achieve when you return to Cangyun Town again."

Princess Nian Youyou said softly, putting away the contempt in her heart.

"I am also looking forward to it!"

Hun Tiandi smiled slightly, looking at the steward walking over quickly, and spoke.

He picked up the pale golden card and a storage ring from the tray, then walked out of the auction house without looking back.

"What an interesting little fellow!"

Watching the figure disappear at the door, Princess Nian Youyou smiled charmingly.

Walking out of the auction house, looking at the crowded flow of people on the street, and looking at this small town where he had spent over ten years.

He sighed softly, then immediately clenched his fists tightly, cheering himself on.

He stepped forward, disappeared into the crowd, and quickly vanished.

After preparing the supplies, Hun Tiandi left Cangyun Town.

Without alerting anyone, the youth in green robes stepped into the Jianghu, pursuing that supreme dream.

At night, black clouds covered the sky. On the empty street, heavy footsteps were heard.

"Is that the little beast's home? Are you sure?" the leader in black asked coldly.

"That's right." The masked person beside him said firmly.

"Good, go in quietly and kill him later, keep the action clean!" The leading big man ordered and leaped into the courtyard.

"Boss, why are the lights not on?"

In the pitch-black room, there was no light. The six men in black approached, creaked the door open, entered, and slashed with their swords.

The quilt on the bed was chopped into shreds by the steel swords.

"Stop!" The leading boss shouted. After lighting a lamp, the room was illuminated, and there was not a single person inside.

"Boss, did that kid not come back?"

"Could he have run away!"

Extinguish the lamp and go back to report to the Young Leader.

The group leaped out of the courtyard and left quickly.

However, they did not notice that when they entered the Yun Family Courtyard, a Black Robed Man stood on a distant roof, taking everything into his eyes.

His figure flickered and disappeared from where he stood.

Hun Tiandi did not know about this, and even if he did, he would not care.
