32: Chapter 32 High-Level Earth Rank: Ten Thousand Swords Technique

Ten Thousand Swords Pavilion, Ten Thousand Sword Peak, inside the Sword Pavilion Hall.

Tang Ying was sitting in the main seat, with three male and female elders sitting on each side, neatly waiting for someone's arrival.

"Yun Tian, arriving!" Suddenly, Senior Sister Liu Hanbing's cold voice echoed from outside the hall.

Everyone's gaze turned towards the outside of the hall, and a cyan-robed young figure slowly stepped into the hall.

Arriving in the hall, Hun Tiandi looked at both sides, then his gaze fell on Tang Ying in the main seat.

Hun Tiandi took a deep breath, flicked his cyan robes, and bowed down to Tang Ying.

Three bows and four kowtows, that was the rule of Ten Thousand Swords Pavilion.

"Disciple Yun Tian, greets Master!"

Hun Tiandi said with extreme solemnity, gently picked up a cup of tea from his side, and handed it to Tang Ying.

Today was the day Hun Tiandi performed the apprenticeship ceremony. Hun Tiandi was a proud and arrogant person; he had even been the clan leader of the Hun Clan in his previous life.

A Nine-Star Dou Sheng at his peak, he had even blood-sacrificed the Central Plains in the end, causing the common people to bleed, to prove his path as a Dou Di.

It was just a pity that his luck was insufficient; he was overtaken by a lucky brat who collected twenty-three types of Heavenly Flames and also proved the path as a Dou Di.

After the Battle of the Two Emperors, Hun Tiandi was defeated and sealed in the void of the Heavenly Flames, waiting for the judgment of fate.

Through a twist of fate, a soul from another world carrying the Major Thousand Worlds's peerless treasure, the heart of samsara, merged with the soul origin mark of the former Hun Tiandi, breaking the seal and living a second life.

But, so what?

The path of cultivation still required the guidance of a good teacher. In the Ten Thousand Swords Pavilion, if he could have a Dou Wang expert to guide him, Hun Tiandi would be very grateful.

Now, becoming the apprentice of Tang Ying, a Dou Sheng level expert, he was naturally even more satisfied.

Elder Nie Yun was a Dou Ling expert, but Hun Tiandi knew that he only valued his cooking skills; it was basically impossible to get him to guide him wholeheartedly.

Now that he had Tang Ying's guidance, Hun Tiandi was very satisfied.

Tang Ying took a sip of the tea offered by his disciple and smiled slightly: "According to the rules of the Ten Thousand Swords Pavilion, since you are still at the Dou Practitioner level, today you will be temporarily accepted as a registered disciple. Once you break through to the Dou Master level, you will become an official disciple."

"Yes, Master!" Hun Tiandi immediately responded.

In the Sword Pavilion Hall, the remaining elders were all witnesses.

"These are two sword talismans, take them as a gift from your master for accepting you as a disciple!"

"Below the peak of Dou Zun, you are invincible; below a Three-Star Dou Sheng, you can exchange one for one." Tang Ying took out two sword talismans and handed them to Hun Tiandi.

"Thank you, Master!"

Hun Tiandi nodded excitedly and reached out to take them—one water-blue sword talisman, and one crimson sword talisman.

Immediately after, Tang Ying flipped his hand and took out a yellow scroll, saying with a solemn expression: "The cultivation technique you are currently practicing is of the low-grade Yellow-tier, it is too trashy and will affect your future cultivation."

"As your master, I have decided to pass on the Ten Thousand Swords Pavilion's town-pavilion ultimate technique, the Earth-tier high-grade technique: Ten Thousand Sword Art, for you to practice!"

"Thank you, Master!" Hun Tiandi put away the two sword talismans and solemnly took the black scroll.

In the hall, two great elders saw this scene, frowned slightly, and looked on coldly, clearly dissatisfied with Tang Ying breaking the rules.

They were somewhat displeased that the town-pavilion ultimate technique was being passed on before Hun Tiandi had reached the Dou Master realm.

Yet, they did not say anything.

How could this scene be hidden from Tang Ying's eyes? He sighed softly, feeling dissatisfied with the two great elders in his heart.

Within the Ten Thousand Swords Pavilion, the six peaks had their own secret calculations, and it was not a monolith.

If not for Tang Ying's powerful strength as a Three-Star Dou Sheng suppressing them, who knows what kind of trouble might have arisen.

Subsequently, after the apprenticeship ceremony was completed, the masters of the various peaks dispersed.

Huh!

"Yun Tian, have you broken through to become a Six-Star Dou Practitioner?" Suddenly, Elder Nie Yun asked in doubt.

"I had some insights while practicing sword techniques earlier, and the promotion was successful!" Hun Tiandi said indifferently.

"Not bad, a Six-Star Dou Practitioner at twelve years old. It shows you are very hardworking; without a firm will, it is impossible to achieve this accomplishment."

Tang Ying praised.

"This disciple relies entirely on luck!" Hun Tiandi said modestly.

The two looked at Hun Tiandi and nodded with satisfaction.

"Yun Tian, you go down first, and cultivate the Ten Thousand Sword Art I passed on to you as soon as possible, otherwise it will affect your future achievements."

Tang Ying instructed.

"This disciple takes his leave!" Hun Tiandi bowed and left the Sword Pavilion Hall.

"Pavilion Master, the two peak masters seem to have some thoughts?" With only the two of them left in the hall, Tang Ying and Elder Nie Yun looked at each other, and Elder Nie Yun spoke up.

"It doesn't matter!" Tang Ying waved his hand upon hearing this. As the master of a pavilion, how could he not see the problems existing in the Ten Thousand Swords Pavilion?

Now was not the time for reorganization.

Tang Ying had taken over the position of Pavilion Master of the Ten Thousand Swords Pavilion from the former Pavilion Master, Sword Venerable, and was no longer the naive boy he once was.

After Sword Venerable abdicated, he entered the back mountain to cultivate in seclusion all year round, and would not come out unless there was a disaster that would destroy the pavilion.

Tang Ying and Sword Venerable had different philosophies in governing the Ten Thousand Swords Pavilion.

Sword Venerable believed in maintaining a neutral stance amidst the disputes of various forces in the Central Plains, neither participating in conflicts nor expanding the Ten Thousand Swords Pavilion.

But Tang Ying had a broad mind and high aspirations; he was unwilling to shrink into one place, so he spared no effort to improve the strength of the Ten Thousand Swords Pavilion's disciples.

However, among the various forces in the Central Plains, could one really remain neutral forever?

In the last thirty years, the current Pavilion Master of Starfall Pavilion, Pavilion Master You Quan, had been actively expanding the sphere of influence of the Starfall Pavilion, and countless experts had joined.

The power was several times greater than before.

In recent years, the existence of the Ten Thousand Swords Pavilion had already affected the expansion of the Starfall Pavilion, and although there had been no open disputes between the two sides, secret struggles were naturally inevitable.

What was strange was that the Starfall Pavilion had two pavilion masters—one was Pavilion Master You Quan, and the other was Pavilion Master Mu Qingluan.

From the time the Starfall Pavilion was founded, it had maintained the strange inheritance of two pavilion masters.

Outside the Sword Pavilion, Senior Sister Liu Hanbing was waiting for Hun Tiandi.

"Did Yun Tian succeed?" Senior Sister Liu Hanbing asked.

Hun Tiandi nodded gently.

"That's good, it's better than Senior Brother being self-important and lawless!" Senior Sister Liu Hanbing muttered.

"Senior Brother?" Hun Tiandi asked, puzzled.

"Yes, Senior Brother Jian Wuchen is the Pavilion Master's personal disciple. He looks bright and shiny, a natural talent, possessing a special constitution: Innate Sword Body. However, I know he is arrogant and extremely utilitarian."

Senior Sister Liu Hanbing said indifferently on the way.

Hun Tiandi nodded upon hearing this. Jian Wuchen was narrow-minded yet a natural talent; sooner or later, he would fall because of his own character.

However, he snorted coldly in his heart; as long as he didn't come to provoke him, it would be fine.

Otherwise, he wouldn't mind killing a fellow disciple and refining him with the Blood Scripture.

Innate Sword Body?

Jian Wuchen's body full of Innate Sword Blood was perfect for evolving the Blood Scripture technique.

The two chatted all the way, and without knowing when, they arrived at Hun Tiandi's small courtyard.

However, the two did not know that on the way back to the small courtyard, the scene of them chatting intimately had been reported to Senior Brother Lin Yunfeng.

"Damn Yun Tian, don't think that just because you became the Pavilion Master's disciple, this young master wouldn't dare to touch you!"

In the bamboo house, Senior Brother Lin Yunfeng cursed secretly.

"Go, keep an eye on Yun Tian for me. If he goes out, come and tell me immediately. I will reward you heavily!"

Senior Brother Lin Yunfeng ordered the young man in black beside him.

"Yes, Senior Brother Lin!" The young man in black lowered his head and answered, but Senior Brother Lin Yunfeng did not notice that a cold sneer appeared at the corner of his mouth the moment he lowered his head.

"Junior Brother Yun, cook!"

Senior Sister Liu Hanbing was not polite at all. She sat on the bamboo chair with a smile, closed her eyes, and in her white clothes like a fairy, with her full curves outlined, made it impossible for people to look away.

"I wonder which beast will benefit from this kind of beauty in the future?"

Hun Tiandi sighed, forcibly suppressed the strangeness in his heart, and began to cook skillfully.

"Crystal pork knuckle made from a Tier 3 Demonic Beast, bear paw from a Tier 3 Demonic Beast, boiled fish with red carp from a Tier 2 Demonic Beast..."

Six dishes and one soup were neatly arranged. Today was the day he became an apprentice, so he was happy and prepared a few extra dishes.

However, these ingredients were all brought by Senior Sister Liu Hanbing, and Hun Tiandi was just sharing the benefits.

The two ate and drank happily, and their distance was invisibly drawn closer.
