117: The monk who robbed women unleashed a deadly move.

The night was like ink, pressing thickly upon the main hall of Wang Family Villa.

Outside the main hall.

Hundreds of evil monks surrounded the main hall like a flood.

Monk Jiese laughed smugly; his long-held wish was finally about to come true today.

Thinking of the Young Miss's moving beauty, Monk Jiese revealed a lewd smile.

Saliva was almost dripping from his mouth.

Jiese waved his hand, and his subordinates understood, beginning to shout provocations at the main hall.

"Old man of the Wang family, surrender quickly and we shall spare your lives!"

"Hand over the Young Miss to be our Chieftain's Wife!"

"Otherwise, we will raze your Wang family to the ground!"

...Inside the villa, the bodyguards' faces were all deathly pale, cold sweat rolling down like beans as they huddled together in panic within the main hall.

Their breathing was rapid and heavy, and the scent of fear permeated the air.

Beside a stone pillar in the hall, a young bodyguard tightly gripped the long saber in his hand.

Yet his hand trembled uncontrollably.

His eyes were fixed intently on the closed hall doors.

As if something terrifying would burst through the doors at any second.

Another older bodyguard, though forcing himself to stay calm, had bulging veins on his forehead that betrayed his extreme inner turmoil.

"What on earth is going on? What do those evil monks actually want?"

A bodyguard asked with a trembling voice, his words filled with terror and confusion.

Everyone looked dazed; no one could provide an answer, leaving them to wait for the judgment of fate amidst this unknown fear.

But they all shared one thought: they would rather die than surrender.

Monk Jiese grew impatient and ordered several subordinates to bring over a giant bell.

Several subordinates huffed and puffed as they pushed a cart carrying a large brass bell.

Jiese leaped into the air and landed lightly upon the cart.

With a kick, he sent the brass bell flying upward.

The brass bell flew into the air and then plummeted down.

Several monks lifted it, catching the bell exactly by its flared mouth.

The other end landed right in front of Jiese.

Jiese slapped away the hook on the brass bell with one hand.

A small opening was revealed at the top of the brass bell.

Jiese aligned his mouth with the opening and took a deep breath.

The evil monks all hurried to cover their ears.

"Waaah—"

A howl like that of a malevolent ghost erupted.

The massive sound wave, amplified dozens of times by the brass bell, crashed toward the main hall's doors.

Within this massive sound wave were hundreds of malevolent ghosts, baring their fangs and brandishing their claws.

Holding cleavers and gesturing wildly, they charged out.

"Boom!"

Even if the steel doors of the hall were made of Adamantine, they were smashed open in an instant.

The doors collapsed with a thunderous crash.

A swarm of evil monks rushed inside.

A gust of wild wind blew in from outside, sweeping through and kicking up clouds of dust and sand.

The people of Wang Family Villa were all startled by this display.

By reflex, everyone couldn't help but retreat several steps.

The wild wind buffeted their faces, making it impossible to keep their eyes open.

Monk Jiese leaped forward and stood in the center of the crowd.

"From today onward, the Wang Family Villa shall no longer exist in this world."

"Hand over the Young Miss immediately."

"Hand over the Young Miss, and I will give you a quick death!"

"Otherwise, you will be executed by a thousand cuts, sliced into pieces."

"Our bellies shall be your graves."

Old Gourd and Wang Jiacheng stepped forward.

"Hmph! You're dreaming if you think we'll surrender!"

"Today, if we can win, we fight; if we can't, at most we die."

Seeing Wang Jiacheng and Old Gourd leading from the front, the bodyguards of Wang Family Villa felt their courage swell.

Jiese shouted in rage.

"Fine! There is a path to Heaven, yet you do not take it; there is no gate to Hell, yet you force your way in."

"Boys, kill them all!"

The two sides were about to engage in a great battle.

Just then, a flurry of footsteps approached, and the hall doors were slammed open. Leading the way was none other than Zhu Yeqing of the Azure Dragon Gang.

He wore a black martial outfit with a sharp long saber at his waist, his eyes reflecting decisiveness and resolve.

"Brothers of the Wang family, we have come to lend you a hand!"

Zhu Yeqing shouted loudly, his voice echoing through the hall.

Upon hearing this, Monk Jiese's face twisted into an exaggerated sneer.

The corners of his mouth pulled back so far the smile seemed to reach his ears, his eyes narrowing into slits filled with mockery and disdain.

He glanced sideways at Zhu Yeqing's group, letting out a sharp, long snort from his nostrils in a lazy drawl.

"You think a motley crew like you can come here and act tough?"

"Are you tired of living and want to gift your heads to this Buddha for nothing?"

As he spoke, he deliberately reached out and lightly flicked non-existent dust off his monastic robe.

As if their arrival had merely sullied his pure land for no reason.

Before anyone could react, another commotion arose.

Zhu Yunque, the Hall Master of Vermilion Bird Hall, charged in aggressively with a group of subordinates.

Zhu Yunque had a lithe figure and sharp eyes, her soft whip dancing in the air to create streaks of cold light.

"Evil monks, today is the day you die!"

Her voice was crisp yet filled with Killing Intent.

Monk Jiese remained as arrogant as ever, tilting his head back slightly with his chin held high, the fat on his face wobbling with the movement.

He rolled his eyes, showing a face full of disgust, and said in a weird tone, "Oh? Another little brat who doesn't know the height of the heavens or the depth of the earth."

"With those thin arms and legs of yours, waving a whip around—are you performing acrobatics for this Buddha?"

"Still, with your looks, you're quite the top-tier beauty."

"I suppose I haven't been roaming the Jianghu for a while, as I didn't know our Changning City actually had such a stunning beauty."

After saying this, he crossed his arms and let out a burst of unrestrained laughter that echoed through the hall, full of provocation.

Zhu Yunque said angrily, "How dare you be so insolent, you Thieving Bald Donkey?"

She raised her whip in fury.

Immediately after, White Tiger Hall Master Li Dahai and Black Tortoise Hall Master Feng Rugui also arrived leading their respective forces.

Li Dahai was burly, like a small mountain, and the large saber in his hand emitted a cold Aura.

Feng Rugui was agile, his eyes reflecting shrewdness and efficiency.

Their arrival made the atmosphere in the hall even more tense, as if the air were about to be ignited.

Seeing the reinforcements arrive one after another, the people of Wang Family Villa felt their morale soar, quickly merging with the reinforcements to form a pincer attack.

A fierce battle broke out; cries of slaughter and the clashing of weapons intertwined, echoing throughout the hall.

The evil monks could barely hold their ground at first, but as the battle continued, they gradually began to show signs of defeat.

However, Monk Jiese remained unruffled. He chanted incantations and quickly formed hand seals, powerful Spiritual Power surging from his body toward the brass bell in the center of the hall.

In an instant, the brass bell let out a thunderous boom, a deafening sound that seemed as if it would shatter the endless night.

Immediately afterward, a plume of black mist spread out from the brass bell.

Within the mist, ghostly figures flickered in and out of sight, surging forth like a vast army.

These ghosts bared their fangs and claws, letting out shrill cries as they pounced toward the crowd.

Everyone was shocked; the situation where they held the upper hand was instantly broken, and both sides fell into a stalemate once again, reaching a draw.
