80: Recruit a zombie as a henchman

The Little Security Guard weaved through the labyrinth.

That feeling of being spied on from behind began to return.

This mysterious sixth sense is possessed by only a few individuals.

While guarding against a sneak attack from behind, the Little Security Guard found a T-shaped corridor.

He looked back; no ghost appeared.

He quickly turned to the left side of the T-intersection.

As expected, the ghost behind him quickly followed.

The Little Security Guard’s footsteps and scent came from the left.

The ghost turned left, only to find it had lost its target.

"Where's the person?"

The ghost stopped.

Then, the ghost's back of the head was struck by a cabbage.

"Hey! Ghost, I'm behind you!"

"You truly are a mischievous ghost!"

It turned out that the Little Security Guard had pretended to go left, but used a Teleportation technique to turn to the right side of the T-shaped corridor.

By the time the ghost caught up, the Little Security Guard had just Teleported over.

The ghost turned around.

Holy crap!

That appearance!

Deep eye sockets, a high nose, and even small braids on its head... it didn't look like someone from this ethnicity!

From what era was this ghost?

Judging by its attire, it felt like a zombie from two thousand years ago!

From the Three Kingdoms period?

From the Two Jin Dynasties?

From the Northern and Southern Dynasties?... The Little Security Guard asked, "It wouldn't be a Han Dynasty zombie, would it?"

The system panel prompted: "It is a zombie from over two thousand years ago."

"He was a cavalry general of a northern minority ethnic group in his lifetime."

"This isn't a program; it was dug out of an Ancient Tomb, specifically to deal with experts."

Indeed, this cavalry general was dressed in the armor of a northern minority ethnic group.

All that was missing was a zombie warhorse beneath him.

The Little Security Guard laughed, "Excellent!"

"I was worried the exam wouldn't be difficult enough!"

"Let's see how powerful this Zombie General is!"

The Zombie General wielded his battle saber, continuously swinging it at the Little Security Guard.

The Little Security Guard hacked, sliced, and chopped with his long spear.

All were parried by the Zombie General, who then formed a counterattack.

"Not bad! This guy has some skill!"

"But let's see if you can handle my ice weapons."

The Little Security Guard activated his ability, condensing several ice throwing knives.

The throwing knives shot towards the Zombie General.

The Zombie General swung his battle saber, deflecting the throwing knives one by one to both sides.

"Thump, thump, thump!"

The throwing knives struck the stone walls on both sides.

Producing waves of bright sparks.

This guy can deal with his ice hidden weapons.

The Little Security Guard had a third move.

He activated his ability [Summon Stone Warrior], and stones from the surrounding walls popped out, condensing into a Stone Warrior.

The Zombie General also chanted a spell, summoning Zombie Soldiers.

Behind the Zombie General, a Zombie Soldier emerged from the Void Realm.

The Zombie Soldier and the Stone Warrior began to fight.

The Stone Soldier was stout and strong, with greater strength.

The Zombie Soldier's body was relatively thin, and it immediately fell into a disadvantage.

The Zombie General continued to summon Zombie Soldiers.

Five Zombie Soldiers emerged from the Void Realm.

With six Zombie Soldiers, they had a numerical advantage.

The Stone Soldier quickly fell into a disadvantage.

Although it twisted the necks of two zombies, the remaining zombies combined their efforts to attack the Stone Soldier's weak point—its neck, chopping off its head.

The Stone Soldier finally fell to the ground.

The Little Security Guard laughed, "Heh heh, it seems you guys have some rudimentary intelligence!"

"Just now, I was testing your strength, so I deliberately played around with you!"

"Now, I'm going to use my ultimate move!"

The Zombie General seemed to understand the Little Security Guard's words.

He made some gibberish sounds from his mouth.

It was probably the language of an ancient northern minority ethnic group.

Several zombies charged towards the Little Security Guard.

The Little Security Guard stood his ground, not panicking at all, and even smiled as he activated his ability.

The zombies immediately stopped moving, turned around, and charged towards the Zombie General.

The Zombie General seemed a bit surprised; why did his own people rebel?

Wielding his battle saber, he quickly dealt with them, and several zombie heads clattered to the ground.

The Little Security Guard started playing soccer, kicking one head at a time.

These zombie heads, like soccer balls, drew arcs in the air and flew towards the Zombie General.

The Zombie General split each head in half with a single saber strike.

Seeing that there were no more "soccer balls" on the ground.

The Little Security Guard laughed, "Sigh! Not a single goal!"

The Zombie General raised his battle saber again, babbling, intending to chop off the Little Security Guard's head.

"I'm not playing with you anymore!" The Little Security Guard muttered.

The Zombie General, who was charging, suddenly stopped moving.

An invisible force controlled him.

It seemed that the Little Security Guard in front of him was no longer an enemy, but the Great Khan Your Majesty to whom he had always been loyal.

Not only could he not attack this person, but he also regarded the Little Security Guard in front of him as his master.

This was the Little Security Guard's Soul Control ability.

It could not only control human Souls but also zombies.

As long as his ability surpassed the opponent's, he could perform Soul Control on them.

The Little Security Guard patted the Zombie General's head with his long spear.

"Hey, why aren't you moving anymore?"

"Why aren't you attacking me?"

"Are you mute?"

"Tell me your name."

Unexpectedly, this general spoke.

"Reporting to the Great Khan, my name is Murong Zhan."

It seemed this zombie had some rudimentary intelligence and could converse with people.

It was just a bit like a robot, not as flexible.

But being able to fight was enough.

"From where are you?"

"Reporting to the Great Khan, I am a Xianbei, and I was once my tribe's General Pacifying the South, commanding tens of thousands of men."

Xianbei, it seems he had been sleeping underground for over two thousand years!

The Little Security Guard thought to himself: I just came for an exam, and I unexpectedly gained an ancient general from over two thousand years ago as a minion.

Throughout thousands of years of history, I'm probably the first!

He was just short of skilled fighters.

This person's skills were good; he could be a minion.

If he encountered an enemy, he could let his minion attack while he watched the show from behind.

The Little Security Guard opened a space within his own dimension to store Murong Zhan.

Murong Zhan was a zombie, not a living being, so he complied with the entry rules of his space.

The system panel had already prompted: "Congratulations on passing all exams."

The Little Security Guard said, "Are there no more Advanced Rank exams?"

"Are there E-cup, F-cup?"

Panel: "They haven't been developed yet! When a suitable opportunity arises, you will be notified of the exam."

"Please collect your prize."

Two prizes appeared before his eyes.

One was a trophy made using a D-Rank part of a noble maiden as a mold.

The other prize was a large pomelo.

"This pomelo is quite large, almost as big as my..."

He couldn't help but think of the beauties at home... The Little Security Guard then exited the examination space.

He returned to the Wang family's banquet hall through the mirror.

The people outside did not know the situation of the examination inside.

Wang Jiacheng came forward to greet him: "Boss Yang, you're out?"

His subordinates hadn't come out yet and could still fight, so how did he defeat them first?

The Little Security Guard asked, "Hmm, where are the others?"

Wang Jiacheng said, "They haven't all come out yet!"

"Most of those who have come out are A-Rank Elementary Level, and a few are A-Rank Intermediate Level."

The Little Security Guard looked at the mirror, which was bright, but he couldn't see anything.

The Scythe Death God's head was facing him, seemingly observing him.

But through the veil, he could only feel his pressure, but couldn't guess what he was thinking.

If he were to encounter any expert.

This Scythe Death God would be ranked first.

Without understanding his limits, he wouldn't rashly challenge him.

After a short wait, Jing Hua, Zhu Yeqing, Zhu Yunque, Old Gourd, and several others popped out of the mirror.

The Little Security Guard, being of a higher Rank, had the privilege to view the Rank status of those with lower Ranks.

He already knew that Jing Hua, Zhu Yeqing, Old Gourd, and others were at the A-Rank Advanced stage.

Zhu Yunque, Li Dahai, Feng Rugui, and others were at the B-Rank Elementary Level stage.

Jing Hua asked, "Brother, you came out early?"

"How were your exam results?"

Feng Rugui scoffed, "We are B-Rank Elementary Level. You, young man, were kicked out so early, you're probably stuck at A-Rank, right?"

Everyone present collectively turned their gaze towards the Little Security Guard. They were all curious about the Little Security Guard's Rank status...
