130: Immortal Life

Under the gloomy shroud of the apocalypse, the roars of zombies and the stench of decay spread wantonly, filling every inch of air with terror.

The major bases were in precarious conditions under the fierce onslaught of the zombie horde, and fear, like a deadly virus, spread wildly in the hearts of the survivors.

Just at this critical moment, a figure resolutely wove through the chaos; he was Big Brother Yang Chunlai.

Yang Chunlai, a powerhouse who had risen in the apocalypse through tenacious will and exceptional abilities, possessed unfathomable spatial power and astonishing combat skills.

When the zombie horde surged towards the major bases like a raging black tidal wave.

He did not blindly choose to face the enemy head-on.

Instead, after careful consideration, he made a bold and risky decision.

To go alone to the zombies' lair, that crisis-ridden Air Raid Shelter hidden deep underground.

He stood outside the Air Raid Shelter, gazing at the deep, dark entrance, his eyes revealing unwavering determination and a resolve to face death without fear.

Immediately after, he utilized his spatial power to slowly summon a figure from the mysterious space—it was the millennium zombie Murong Zhan.

Murong Zhan, once a powerful figure who commanded the winds and clouds, had now become the key trump card in Yang Chunlai's hands to turn the tide of battle.

Subsequently, Yang Chunlai skillfully manipulated dozens of nearby zombies.

Under his powerful mental control, these zombies acted like marionettes, mechanically obeying his every command.

With everything ready, he once again exercised his spatial power to retrieve a large quantity of explosives; these explosives would become the lethal weapons to destroy the zombie lair.

"Murong Zhan, take the explosives, infiltrate the Air Raid Shelter, find the vital locations, and plant the explosives."

"Be sure to proceed with caution; remember, our success or failure hinges on this one move."

Yang Chunlai said softly to Murong Zhan.

Although he knew well that Murong Zhan had lost most of his consciousness and could not respond.

He still habitually gave the instructions, as if this could add a measure of strength to Murong Zhan.

"Understood, my master!"

Murong Zhan and the dozens of zombies shouldered the explosives and walked slowly and heavily into the Air Raid Shelter.

Inside the cave, it was pitch black, one could not see their own fingers, and the pungent stench of decay rushed towards them, sickeningly.

The roars of the zombies echoed in the narrow passage, like howls from Hell, making one's hair stand on end.

Murong Zhan moved forward cautiously, every step filled with unknown danger.

Suddenly, a group of zombies lunged at him like starving wolves.

These zombies were the guards of the Air Raid Shelter; they were filled with instinctive hostility towards intruders, baring their fangs and brandishing their claws as they attempted to tear Murong Zhan to pieces.

Murong Zhan showed no fear; he brandished his blade and engaged in a thrilling close-quarters battle with the zombies.

In less than a quarter of an hour, Murong Zhan had eliminated this group of defensive zombies.

Through the footage transmitted back by the night-vision eagle, Yang Chunlai breathed a sigh of relief.

Fortunately, the Zombie Emperor had taken most of his troops away to fight.

The zombies remaining in the Air Raid Shelter were nothing more than the old, weak, sick, and disabled.

During the intense battle, Murong Zhan kept an eye on his surroundings while searching for the vital points of the Air Raid Shelter.

After some arduous exploration, he finally found the first vital location—a key stone pillar supporting the entire Air Raid Shelter.

Murong Zhan quickly planted the explosives on the stone pillar and then, without stopping, continued to search for the next target.

In this way, Murong Zhan's small team inched forward with difficulty through the treacherous Air Raid Shelter.

He constantly fought wave after wave of zombies, turning danger into safety time and again, and successfully planted the explosives.

Each completed placement of explosives meant they were one step closer to victory, but it also meant that the danger was constantly escalating.

When a zombie bit Murong Zhan, it was a pity that Murong Zhan was also a zombie.

The zombie virus had no effect on Murong Zhan.

Finally, after enduring great hardships, Murong Zhan completed all his tasks; he staggered out of the Air Raid Shelter covered in wounds.

Seeing Murong Zhan return safely, Yang Chunlai's heart, which had been hanging in suspense, finally settled.

He did not hesitate in the slightest and decisively lit the fuse.

He then immediately tucked Murong Zhan into his space and, with a few teleports, was already a thousand miles away.

In an instant, with a loud "boom," a violent explosion occurred in the Air Raid Shelter.

The immense shockwave caused the entire ground to shake violently, as if the apocalypse had descended once again.

A large mushroom cloud rose into the sky.

The zombie horde suddenly retreated; their lair had been bombed, and this sudden turn of events plunged them into unprecedented chaos.

Recalling the first bombing, there had been a Tyrannosaurus Rex helping to clear the tunnels.

But now the Tyrannosaurus Rex was dead, the lair was blown to smithereens, and the zombies' Foundation had been completely destroyed.

This move by Yang Chunlai—relieving the besieged by attacking the rescue force and pulling the firewood from under the cauldron—successfully disrupted the attack rhythm of the zombie horde, winning precious breathing room for the major bases.

As the zombie horde retreated in a panic, Yang Chunlai descended from the sky like a Heavenly God, his eyes flashing with a cold, icy light, as if he could perceive every weakness of the zombies.

He quickly waved both hands, and a massive array composed of countless ice-crafted hidden weapons instantly appeared before him.

These ice-crafted hidden weapons were like snowflakes flying in the dead of winter, shimmering with a lethal light under the sun as they whistled towards the core of the zombie horde.

The core of the zombie horde was composed of a large number of giant wolves with massive bodies and extreme speed, and the Zombie Emperor Bei, who possessed powerful supernatural abilities.

These giant wolves and Zombie Emperor Bei were the leaders and core combat strength of the zombie horde; their existence made the zombie horde even more difficult to deal with.

The ice-crafted hidden weapon array engaged in a fierce collision with the giant wolves and Zombie Emperor Bei.

The ice-crafted hidden weapons fell like raindrops onto the giant wolves and Zombie Emperor Bei, leaving behind shocking wounds.

The giant wolves and Zombie Emperor Bei were not to be outdone; relying on their immense strength and agile movements, they desperately resisted the attacks of the ice-crafted hidden weapons.

Yang Chunlai focused intently on controlling the ice-crafted hidden weapon array, beads of sweat the size of beans rolling down his forehead.

A trace of fatigue appeared on his face, but his eyes remained as firm as iron, as if declaring to the zombies: "Your doomsday has arrived!"

In the heat of the battle, Yang Chunlai, relying on his keen observation skills, finally discovered the weakness of Zombie Emperor Bei.

He concentrated all his power, instantly turning all the ice-crafted hidden weapons, which struck like sharp blades towards the weakness of Zombie Emperor Bei.

Zombie Emperor Bei let out a shrill, miserable scream; its body began to sway, and its massive frame gradually lost balance under the assault of the ice-crafted hidden weapons.

Yang Chunlai seized this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and rushed forward like an arrow released from a bow; clutching a sharp blade in his hand, he used all his strength to fiercely stab at the head of Zombie Emperor Bei.

Zombie Emperor Bei finally collapsed with a crash; its death was like toppling a domino, plunging the entire zombie horde into even greater chaos.

Bei had fallen, and the zombie horde was about to crumble.

Yang Chunlai found the crystal containing powerful supernatural abilities on the body of Emperor Bei.

Thousands of zombies swarmed over.

But Yang Chunlai disappeared on the spot.

With a few teleports, he was already ten thousand miles away.

He couldn't wait to absorb the supernatural abilities within the crystal of Bei.

Instantly, a powerful force surged within him, and he felt his own strength skyrocket like a rocket, increasing to 100 times its original level.

His body seemed filled with endless energy, every cell rejoicing as if he possessed the power to conquer the world.

Yang Chunlai knew deeply that the power of a team was infinite; he handed the crystal of the Tyrannosaurus Rex to Zhu Yunque, Jing Hua, Zhu Yeqing, and other leaders of his subordinate bases.

After they absorbed the crystal of the Tyrannosaurus Rex, everyone's strength increased to 10 times its original level, springing up like bamboo shoots after a spring rain.

Their eyes were filled with gratitude and admiration for Yang Chunlai.

Under Yang Chunlai's leadership, they seemed to see the dawn of humanity's victory in this apocalyptic war, and their hearts were filled with hope and courage.

However, Yang Chunlai knew deeply that this was only a temporary victory; the gloom of the apocalypse had not completely dispersed.

The zombie virus was still lurking in some corner of the world, potentially erupting again at any time, and there were more unknown dangers and challenges awaiting them.

But he was not afraid in the slightest; he firmly believed that as long as his own strength was sufficiently powerful and the major bases stood united as one, they would certainly be able to overcome difficulties and rebuild a beautiful home.

In the days that followed, the underlings of the major bases under Yang Chunlai began a comprehensive counterattack against the zombies.

They formed elite squads, penetrated every corner of the cities, constantly searching for the fish that slipped through the net among the zombies, and destroyed them one by one.

As for Yang Chunlai, inside the garden-like Bright Moon Villa, he drank and feasted until dawn with many beauties, singing and dancing, day and night, living a blissful life like an immortal...
