307: This rescue passage will be opened soon.

"Platoon Leader Xiao, you are truly outstanding."

Military Doctor Shen walked over, praising Xiao Niannian with a smile.

He had previously seen Xiao Niannian carrying a very large backpack, and he thought it contained some medicine and food. He had even suggested that Brother Lu carry the bag for Xiao Niannian.

Xiao Niannian had also put many things into the backpacks of Fang Qiang and Xiao Cui.

He thought it was food, but he didn't expect it to be life-saving medicine, complete with IV equipment.

This was truly wonderful.

In the future, when he goes on missions, he must bring more such medicines to better ensure the safety of his comrades-in-arms.

Military Doctor Shen went to open Lu Jing's backpack and took out some medicine.

"You go and change their dressings..."

After washing her hands, Xiao Niannian walked outside and looked at the cliff.

Lu Jing had already reported the situation here to the command, and all teams not far from this location would gather.

"Niannian, put on your military overcoat."

Lu Jing saw Xiao Niannian take off her military overcoat and immediately handed her his own.

"No need, mine is over there. I was a bit warm just now."

Lu Jing ignored Xiao Niannian's refusal and draped the military overcoat over her.

Xiao Niannian did not refuse again.

"This is what I plan."

After draping the coat over Xiao Niannian, Lu Jing spoke.

"Have them cut wood and carve it into planks to make stretchers..."

Xiao Niannian listened to Lu Jing's words and nodded in agreement. The two injured comrades could not move, so stretchers were the best method.

The others, however, could be carried or supported by personnel.

Xiao Niannian walked towards the edge of the cliff.

She saw that it was still dozens of meters down, but going down was not as steep as going up.

However, the path below was by the river, and the situation below was unclear, so the Soldiers still needed to go up.

"Fang Qiang, Xiao Cui, you lead the men and use climbing nails to secure..."

Lu Jing and the others had previously trained in the snow mountains, and many methods were discovered through their own exploration.

Hearing Lu Jing's words, Xiao Niannian said.

"I'll take them."

She looked at Lu Jing and said.

"I used to pick mushrooms in the mountains of my hometown and caught many prey in the mountains. I have a lot of experience with this..."

Xiao Niannian didn't want any more comrades-in-arms to suffer casualties. She wanted to use this opportunity to teach the First Team comrades some knowledge. In the future, when they reach the snow mountains, they will also know what to do... Hearing Niannian's words, Lu Jing nodded.

"Okay."

Military Doctor Shen listened to their conversation, looking at Lu Jing and Xiao Niannian in surprise.

At such a time, Brother Lu trusts Platoon Leader Xiao so much. These Special Combat Members have also trained on cliffs many times. Although some people were injured, everyone gained a lot.

And now, the people who came down are all their Special Combat Members; the comrades from the local unit were not allowed to come down.

Xiao Niannian led the comrades-in-arms to work busily, while the Second Company comrades went to cut trees to make stretchers.

"Battalion Commander Lu."

Second Company Commander looked at Lu Jing, seeing the comrades who had just come down to rescue them, now climbing back up with ropes... "Thank you..."

Second Company Commander didn't expect them to be rescued so quickly. Moreover, there were two Military Doctors in the team, and their medical skills were excellent.

If these rescuing comrades hadn't arrived quickly, the lives of these two comrades-in-arms... "You're welcome. Have your men prepare the stretchers. Our men are scouting ahead, trying to quickly carve out a path, and then use ropes... to rescue everyone..."

Hearing Lu Jing's words, Second Company Commander nodded vigorously.

"Okay."

This is great, truly great. With Battalion Commander Lu and his team, the comrades-in-arms can be safely rescued.

Fang Qiang and Squad Leader Li watched Platoon Leader Xiao's movements. Xiao Niannian explained to Fang Qiang and Squad Leader Li why they were doing this, while carving footholds... "Between these two trees, tie them with vines, then use a rope..."

Soon, Company Commander He also came down with his men. They also used knives and hammers to carve footholds.

"Comrade Xiao, how is the situation below?"

Hearing Company Commander He's words, Xiao Niannian quickly explained the situation.

Hearing that the two shot Soldiers had already undergone surgery, and their vital signs were stable with no deterioration, Company Commander He breathed a sigh of relief.

"Fortunately."

Fortunately, Military Doctor Shen and Comrade Xiao knew medicine and brought so much medicine, even various IV medications, which saved these two comrades-in-arms. Otherwise, the consequences would have been unimaginable.

"Just now, the Commanders also contacted us. The nearest team is about an hour away from us..."

Company Commander He said, continuing to work.

Xiao Niannian nodded.

Some of the Soldiers on the cliff went to look for vines, some twisted vines into ropes. In the wilderness, if there aren't enough ropes, twisting vines into ropes can also come in handy.

Others also cut some trees and trimmed them, to be made into ladders or tied between trees, which would be much better.

Xiao Niannian wore gloves. Although it was minus twenty degrees Celsius, she was sweating all over from the strenuous work.

An hour passed quickly, and Xiao Niannian felt her hands trembling from the cold.

"Xiao Niannian, come down quickly and warm yourself by the fire..." Lu Jing's voice rang out.

Xiao Niannian heard his words and glanced at the busy comrades-in-arms.

"You've been working for an hour. Now come down and rest for an hour, then continue..."

Hearing this, Xiao Niannian immediately rappelled down.

Upon reaching the ground at the bottom of the cliff, Xiao Niannian saw Lu Jing looking at her with a stern face.

"Hurry into the cave to warm up, food has already been made..."

Lu Jing instructed Xiao Niannian.

"Okay."

Second Company Commander saw Xiao Niannian and immediately brought over a bowl of porridge.

"Platoon Leader Xiao, quickly drink a bowl of porridge. You've all worked hard..."

For the past hour or two, they had seen the comrades-in-arms busy on the cliff, and this rescue passage would soon be cleared.

Division Commander Yang arrived with several Commanders from the Division Headquarters.

After receiving the news, they set off with their troops and traveled for seven or eight hours before finally arriving.

When they came, they brought the elite Military Unit from the Division Headquarters.

Now that the elite Military Unit from the Division Headquarters had arrived, they also joined the team.

Xiao Niannian stood there, looking at the people on the cliff, a smile appearing on her face.

Thinking of those Mao Xiong Soldiers, the smile on her face disappeared.

These people deserve to die!

She guessed that after these Mao Xiong people were captured by them, Mao Xiong would send people to cross the border and also exert pressure on them from a higher level.

The two people who fired the shots, she had beaten them to the point where it would take at least three to five months for them to recover.
