663: She jumped into the river without hesitation.

"Shen Yan, if you talk any more nonsense, we'll beat you up."

You guys?

Shen Yan saw Meng Ning waving her fists, and saw Lin Shi and Gao Yao staring at him.

He almost forgot that the three of them acted together. If Meng Ning really hit him, all she had to do was shout, and the other two would genuinely come up and beat him.

Although he could beat Meng Ning, fighting three people at once was still quite difficult.

Jin Huo walked over with a few Instructors.

Seeing that Shen Yan was also there, he understood that Captain Xiao had given the order, otherwise Shen Yan would have run away if he could.

Shen Yan learned these skills as a child, and a few years ago, he mastered free climbing buildings.

"Watch me."

After Shen Yan secured the safety rope, he immediately began climbing.

They watched Shen Yan quickly climb up to the second floor, then towards the third floor. Before long, he reached the rooftop and flipped down from above.

When Xiao Niannian saw his smug look, her expression immediately became serious.

"Shen Yan."

"Here."

Hearing Captain Xiao's voice, Shen Yan immediately responded loudly.

"Since you love climbing so much, you'll climb for one hour today..."

What?

No way! Captain Xiao, I was just showing off!

Shen Yan looked pleadingly at Xiao Niannian, but Xiao Niannian ignored him. He wore a bitter expression and continued practicing.

When the other Team Members saw this scene, their expressions also turned serious.

They dared not speak in low voices anymore, otherwise, if Captain Xiao or the other Instructors saw them, they would be punished.

Meng Ning, Lin Shi, and the others began teaching the methods to the rest of the Team Members.

The Instructors were also teaching the less skilled Team Members.

Time flew by, and more than twenty days passed.

The weather also gradually warmed up.

The Team Members practiced swimming and diving in the pool every day, but there were many people, and the Womens Team's pool was very small.

Xiao Niannian planned to take the Team Members to the seaside to practice in a few days, ensuring that everyone could meet the standard, or even excel.

Xiao Niannian saw Lu Jing walking over.

"Wife, the Captain and the others have decided to start a fifteen-day field training exercise tomorrow."

The fifteen-day field training exercise required everyone to carry a load of about twenty-five kilograms.

"Alright."

Xiao Niannian went to the office, where Captain Chen and Political Commissar Li issued the order.

"Early tomorrow morning, you will lead all the Special Forces Brigade Team Members—excluding the comrades staying behind at the Production Brigade—to participate in the fifteen-day field training exercise..."

The elite Team Members of Second Team and Third Team had already gone to the Tibetan Area for training, while the Team Members of First Team were currently training at the Training Base.

"Yes."

Xiao Niannian and Lu Jing led people to make preparations.

Preparing supplies for hundreds of people in just one day was indeed quite busy.

Although First Team had some elite Team Members, it wasn't enough.

Xiao Niannian called over the Womens Team Members who were currently training.

"Reporting."

Arriving at the warehouse entrance and hearing the neat response, Xiao Niannian looked at them.

"Everyone, run over here..."

Xiao Niannian explained the situation and gave each Team Member a piece of paper.

They saw that the task was to pack various supplies and organize the warehouse.

Everyone quickly got busy.

A few hours later, everything was handled.

Around six o'clock in the morning, an Instructor blew the assembly whistle.

Xiao Niannian and Lu Jing had already packed everything and put their backpacks onto the vehicle.

Hearing the whistle, they immediately went to the training ground.

Looking at the hundreds of people on the training ground, Xiao Niannian stood in the Womens Team's position and looked toward Captain Chen and the Production Brigade Commanders on the platform.

"comrades, starting today, we begin the fifteen-day field training exercise..."

Captain Chen spoke for a few minutes about the situation.

After he finished speaking, the teams began assembling and ran toward the outside.

Hearing that they had to walk dozens of kilometers every day, Xiao Niannian heard the Womens Team Members discussing in low voices.

"We have to walk this many kilometers every day?"

"After running for these fifteen days, won't we have covered several hundred kilometers?"

"I thought we would practice Armed Prisoner Crossing in the lake first, but unexpectedly, it's field training first."

Xiao Niannian carried her luggage and ran along with the Womens Team Members.

After running ten kilometers, an Instructor shouted through a loudspeaker, announcing a fifteen-minute break.

Xiao Niannian stood on a nearby rock, observing the surroundings.

Captains and Political Instructors like them were allowed not to participate in the training. But Xiao Niannian still joined in.

On the first day, they walked a full eighty kilometers. Xiao Niannian looked at the Team Members.

A few had already complained about blisters on their feet by noon, and one or two hours ago, some had run out of strength and were being helped along by other Team Members.

"This is the medicine prepared for you. Treat the wounds and blisters on your feet for each other..."

Xiao Niannian took out a large bag.

"As for this other large bag, open it up and stick the contents inside your shoes. Walking tomorrow will be a bit more comfortable..."

The contents of the other large bag were products made by the Wang Family Factory, which had launched sales at the beginning of the year. However, the price was not cheap. Uncle Wang had given Xiao Niannian many boxes for the Womens Team Members to use.

Seeing what it was, the Womens Team Members were a bit surprised.

This was something sold expensively in Department Stores. Their Production Brigade had only started issuing it in the last few months. They heard it was donated by a patriotic businessman.

It was much better than what they had used previously.

"Captain Xiao, this is too expensive. We feel reluctant to put it inside our shoes..."

"That's right, Captain Xiao. It sells for several yuan per large bag at the Department Store."

Although their current allowance was several tens of yuan, they were still reluctant to use this item.

"If I tell you to use it, just use it. Why so much nonsense?"

Xiao Niannian looked at them with a cold expression.

Meng Ning and Lin Shi had already taken theirs, stuck them inside their shoes, and put their shoes back on. They genuinely felt much more comfortable, and it didn't hurt as much.

"Captain Xiao, this thing is really comfortable."

"I never expected this could be used like this."

All the Team Members quickly stuck the items into their shoes and then treated the blood blisters on their feet.

On the Womens Team side, a few Team Members started setting up pots to cook.

Xiao Niannian looked into the distance; the Team Members from the other teams also began setting up pots to cook.

After walking all day, Xiao Niannian was indeed very hungry.

She saw a river not far away and decided to go catch some fish.

Xiao Niannian walked towards the riverbank.

She hadn't walked far when she heard crying.

"Quick, someone come!"

"Help!"

"A child fell into the river."

Xiao Niannian quickly ran toward the riverbank.

Lu Jing and Military Doctor Shen saw that Xiao Niannian had initially been strolling by the river, but when they saw her sprinting rapidly, they also sensed that something was wrong.

"Let's go take a look."

"The few of you, follow me to see what's happening."

Meng Ning and Lin Shi also noticed something was wrong and immediately followed.

Xiao Niannian saw several children struggling in the water.

She jumped into the river without the slightest hesitation.
