587: Women's team training in mud combat.

Hearing about the extra meal, the Team Members all cheered up.

It was already past three in the afternoon, and they were indeed a little hungry.

Watching them finish their meal, Xiao Niannian said.

"We'll head to the shooting range later."

The shooting training ground was shared by the entire Special Forces Brigade.

Hearing that shooting training was starting now, the Team Members all became excited.

Before they arrived, they had heard that all the Team Members of the Special Forces Brigade were marksmen, each capable of hitting the bullseye.

"That's great, shooting training is what I wanted most."

"We heard that Captain Xiao can even hit the bullseye at night."

The Team Members discussed animatedly, and soon they arrived at the shooting training ground.

Xiao Niannian explained the rules of the training, and the Team Members were shocked when they heard they had to hold their rifles and lie prone here for an hour.

Weren't they here for shooting training? Just holding the guns without shooting?

But despite their many questions, no one refuted her.

Xiao Niannian watched the Team Members lying on the ground, checking them one by one, immediately pointing out errors and telling them to correct themselves.

The Team Members remained prone here for a full hour.

When they heard Captain Xiao say they could get up, they were extremely excited.

When some people got up, their hands were cramping.

"Alright, now ten rounds each, begin shooting..."

Xiao Niannian gave these people no time to recover and immediately started the next phase of training.

"Bang, bang, bang..."

The Team Members were divided into three teams and began shooting.

They knew without thinking that not everyone hit the bullseye.

After listening to the score reporter, Xiao Niannian looked at the results and frowned.

"Your physical fitness is too poor. In such a short time, only a few people achieved a perfect score. Over a dozen others scored ninety-plus, and some even scored in the eighties..."

Hearing Xiao Niannian's reprimand, many Team Members lowered their heads in shame.

Xiao Niannian had also practiced there for an hour, prone with her rifle, just like them.

"Bang..."

Xiao Niannian raised her hand and simply fired.

After ten shots, the score reporter ran over.

"Reporting, Captain Xiao, perfect score..."

All the Team Members looked at Xiao Niannian in shock. Captain Xiao hadn't even aimed carefully, just casually fired ten shots, and every single shot was a bullseye—that was too incredible.

Li Le, Xu Jia, and the others looked at Captain Xiao with admiration, their eyes filled with worship.

Captain Xiao had also spent an hour prone with her rifle just like them, yet they had to aim for a long time when they shot just now.

But Captain Xiao just held the gun and fired casually, resulting in ten bullseyes.

The target was also retrieved and shown to the Team Members.

Looking at the target, the Team Members secretly resolved to practice more in the future.

"What I can do, you can do too..."

"Continue training..."

It wasn't until midnight that the Team Members returned to their dormitories.

Li Le, Xu Jia, and the others returned to the dormitory. After washing up, they were still discussing the day's training.

"Captain Xiao's move just now truly impressed me."

"Yes, yes, yes, she's really amazing."

"I didn't expect that Captain Xiao, after training for as long as we did, could casually fire and get a perfect score."

"I finally understand how Captain Xiao became the Female Team Captain of the Special Forces Brigade."

The Team Members were all praising Xiao Niannian's excellence and wanted to become as outstanding as Xiao Niannian.

Time flew by, and a month passed.

The Team Members all made great progress. Not a single Team Member thought of retreating because the training was tough. Even when injured, they gritted their teeth and persevered.

"Today is mud pit combat."

Today, Xiao Niannian selected several Elite Team Members to come over and train against the Womens Team Members.

"Everyone jump into the mud pit..."

Xiao Niannian explained the rules from above. The Team Members looked at the Elite Team Members, whose faces were covered in camouflage paint, and who stood ramrod straight.

All the Womens Team Members jumped into the mud pit.

Xiao Niannian watched them start fighting. Li Le and Qian Wu, having great synergy, immediately ganged up two or three people against one Elite Team Member.

Seeing this, Xiao Niannian nodded in satisfaction.

If they were still fighting alone at this time, their combat strength would definitely be weaker than these few men.

Only by uniting could they defeat these people.

Initially, the Elite Team Members knocked the Womens Team Members into the mud pit, but with three or four people fighting one person, especially in the mud pit, some Elite Team Members felt a bit constrained.

They were holding back and not fighting with full strength anyway.

After a while, all the Womens Team Members were knocked down into the mud pit, but a large majority of them got back up again and fought together.

The Elite Team Members hadn't expected the Womens Team Members to have such good perseverance and be so tough. Although they were holding back their strength during the combat, the women fell down and climbed back up again and again.

They were indeed very good.

Xiao Niannian looked at these Team Members, and she was very satisfied in her heart.

In this mud pit combat session, the performance of these Womens Team Members was much better than she had imagined.

Although their combat strength was still lacking now, after a few more months of training, some of these Team Members' abilities would definitely be comparable to the Regular Team Members of the First, Second, and Third Teams.

"Time's up, everyone come out."

Hearing that time was up, all the Team Members stopped.

Xiao Niannian held a water gun and rinsed them off.

This time, the water was warm, not cold water.

Looking at the Team Members' unwillingness to admit defeat, Xiao Niannian spoke.

"In this mud pit combat, you didn't defeat these Elite Team Members. But next time, the time after that, I believe you will quickly defeat them. Unity is strength..."

Xiao Niannian planned to have the Regular Team Members come over tomorrow instead, ensuring that some of the Womens Team Members would definitely be able to win.

"You have one hour of rest time. You can return to the dormitories now. We will continue training in one hour."

"Yes."

Xiao Niannian watched the Team Members run off, and the corners of her mouth lifted.

The condition of these Team Members was quite good.

Xiao Niannian noticed that Feng Lin, Li Le, and Xu Jia had better physical fitness, and several other Team Members also had decent stamina. They were very hardworking, and she believed it wouldn't be long before their abilities reached those of Regular Team Members.

"Captain Xiao."

Hearing Lu Jing call her, Xiao Niannian walked over.

"Captain Lu."

"The Captain said that arrangements have been made with the Military Unit in the City Name and your alma mater. We will go tomorrow, and the selection process can start the day after tomorrow..."

Hearing this, Xiao Niannian nodded.

"In that case, I will hand things over to Squad Leader He and the others here, and have Feng Lin, Li Le, and Xu Jia lead the team..."

Lu Jing nodded.

"Okay."

After the Womens Team Members finished resting, Xiao Niannian spoke to them about the training arrangements.
