153: Chapter 155 Brother, I was a bit harsh with my words earlier.

"Heh... brother, please forgive my earlier rudeness."

"I haven't slept in five days, so my mind is a bit foggy, and I spoke a bit harshly."

"Please allow me to be your guide as compensation."

Lu Chen was speechless at the other party's complete 180-degree change in attitude.

"Is the power of an XXX-level contract that great?"

He thought to himself.

But he still didn't ask it out loud.

Then he said,

"Thank you, I couldn't ask for more. May I know how to address you, Your Excellency?"

The man patted his forehead somewhat awkwardly.

"Look at this brain of mine. Sorry, sorry. My name is Sheng Lini."

His tone was sincere.

His attitude was extremely friendly.

As is well known,

any civilization that signs an XXX-level contract

is because unimaginable monsters have emerged within their civilization.

Usually,

the first to arrive here is their leader.

The youngest Dominator of the Origin Human Race today

hails from such a civilization.

In some aspects,

such civilizations are even more important than pure-blooded Origin Humans.

Because their status is earned through genuine strength,

not inherited through Bloodline.

As they spoke,

some young men and women in the distance couldn't help but look over.

"What is Sheng Lini saying to that stranger? Let's go take a look too."

A beautiful girl stepped forward.

She exuded an aura of coldness and aloofness

that made everyone around her tread carefully.

Lu Chen could tell

her status was undoubtedly very high.

The young woman didn't even glance at Lu Chen.

Her gaze calmly fell upon Sheng Lini.

She asked,

"Who is he? How did he get here?"

Sheng Lini smiled politely.

"Young Miss Freya, he is a brother from an XXX-level contract civilization. This is his first time here, so I took the initiative to show him around."

Upon hearing this,

everyone was stunned with shock.

XXX-level contract civilization...

"Damn it," someone cursed under their breath, "why wasn't I the first to approach him?"

Even the haughty-looking Freya

had a flicker of curiosity in her cold eyes.

She scrutinized Lu Chen carefully.

He appeared to be an incredibly handsome youth.

He must be from an Advanced civilization discovered by the Alliance.

Lu Chen took a step forward.

He gave a slight nod.

Speaking in a friendly manner, he said,

"Hello everyone, I am Lu Chen. It's a pleasure to meet you."

He was new here.

If possible,

he wanted to make some friends among his peers.

Because back on Blue Star,

no one dared to treat him so casually.

Nowadays,

even his cousins Lu Lina and Lu Guagua no longer dared to be close to him.

Only his parents, Great-Grandfather, Luo Nianwei, and Ke Ji could interact with him normally.

But here,

among the Origin Human Race,

he hoped to find peers as strong as himself.

Some companions who could stand by his side and make him feel less alone.

The group immediately began introducing themselves enthusiastically.

Their curiosity about him

soon turned into friendliness.

Sheng Lini said excitedly,

"Brother, shall we go? There's so much to see here. I promise, you'll be amazed."

Lu Chen smiled.

Feeling a sense of ease he hadn't felt in a long time,

he said with light steps,

"Alright."

Then he waved to the others

and followed Sheng Lini into the city center of Asgard.

Lu Chen walked beside Sheng Lini.

Their footsteps echoed softly on the silver space walkway.

Everything around them was so futuristic,

it felt like a dream.

The path beneath their feet shimmered like flowing liquid metal,

shifting and changing as people walked.

Towering space elevators pierced the sky,

connecting floating skyscrapers in impossible ways,

segmenting the heavens.

Soft neon lights cascaded down,

like colorful auspicious clouds,

outlining dreamlike fluorescent glows.

There were no cars here.

Instead,

there were sleek, smooth-surfaced spherical pods

that silently flew overhead

along specific routes between the buildings.

Lu Chen had seen many sci-fi movies in his previous life,

but none could compare to the spectacle of Asgard before his eyes.

Here,

everything felt so real,

so immersive,

as if it were a living world,

and not some Virtual Universe.

Even the air was so fresh,

carrying a crisp sensation

that sharpened his senses.

Out of curiosity,

he tried to open his panel.

Nothing happened.

He tried again,

this time focusing more intently.

But there was still no response.

He could feel the connection between the panel and himself,

but it was as if it didn't exist;

the Virtual Universe couldn't perceive it at all.

He took a slight breath.

The Virtual Universe could perfectly replicate his body,

and could even mimic certain traits of his Soul...

but it couldn't touch the panel.

This could only mean

that the existence of the panel

likely surpassed the defensive measures of the Origin Human Race's technology.

Lu Chen observed everything around him curiously,

trying to find any evidence that this was a virtual world and not the real one.

But he couldn't find any.

Beside him,

Sheng Lini chuckled,

as if he had anticipated this scene.

"What you see now is only the first layer,"

he began,

his voice laced with amusement.
