457: Chapter 461 Earth Guardians
David was instantly struck as if by a bolt from the blue.
How did she know?
How was it possible?
"Haha, Young Miss, I don't know what you're talking about. Goodnight."
He didn't even wait for the elevator to come down.
He started climbing the stairs.
Kaili intended to enter the building.
She was blocked by a security guard, but she only spared him a glance, and he immediately fainted.
David stopped in his tracks and looked back.
Kaili was already standing just a step away from him.
"This lady, please follow me."
David's attitude became humble.
He knew this woman's strength was far beyond his capabilities.
They entered David's house.
Lu Chen followed them inside as well.
They couldn't sense his presence at all.
The two sat down face to face.
Silence filled the room.
Kaili was the first to break the silence.
"I know your Master is Atoman, the King of the Fire Prison. He taught you magic when you were young and later left you. You do this to survive, but Mages are forbidden from using magic for entertainment."
"I am here on behalf of the Mage Association to give you a warning. You should also come with me to register as a Mage. After that, you won't have any survival issues."
Her tone was relaxed and gentle.
Lu Chen could tell.
She held great respect for that King of the Fire Prison.
"Where is this Mage Association? Why have I never heard of it? Are they operating in secret, hidden from the Supernatural Alliance and the Ghost Hunter organization?"
Lu Chen thought to himself.
This organization should be quite powerful.
Because Kaili was a third-rank powerhouse, and he could tell she wasn't high-level within the association.
"But ma'am, I already have my own career here. Can I stay here?"
David asked cautiously.
Kaili's expression instantly darkened.
"It seems you didn't understand what I just said. If you continue after hearing my warning, the association will hold you accountable. Now, decide for yourself."
Hearing this, David's face turned somewhat pale.
He had no idea that the Master who had taught him since childhood was actually called the King of the Fire Prison.
That man had always seemed very ordinary.
He had never shown any powerful strength.
He thought his Master was just an ordinary Mage.
Who happened to discover his talent.
And gave him some guidance in passing.
After that.
He had relied entirely on himself to grow step by step.
However, after thinking for a moment, he replied.
"Alright, ma'am, I will join. But what exactly is this Mage Association?"
Kaili thought for a moment, seemingly organizing her words.
"The Mage Association was founded by the most powerful Mage, Klevia. He is a legend among us Mages. No one knows his true power."
"The association's original purpose was to gather Mages from all over the Main World to fight against creatures from other dimensions."
"Therefore, all Mages who have undergone Awakening of Elemental power must join the association; otherwise, they will be punished by us."
"Other-dimensional creatures? What are those?"
David asked immediately.
"Dimensions from another dimensional space, and we are the Guardians of Earth, responsible for protecting the planet. Every so often, Other-dimensional creatures appear, and then we step in to deal with them."
"If those monsters aren't strong, we leave them to the Martial Soul Martial Artists, Ability Users, or Ghost Hunters here to handle."
David listened with full concentration.
He seemed captivated by this magnificent world.
All of this was so foreign and novel to him.
Lu Chen also felt somewhat surprised.
"Where do these Other-dimensional creatures come from?"
Afterward, David and Kaili left together.
Lu Chen followed them immediately.
"They aren't going to the battlefield?"
He couldn't help but wonder.
Kaili and David got into a luxury sedan.
Heading toward their destination.
"Ma'am, my Master never mentioned the Mage Association to me. Is he a big shot in the association?"
Hearing this, Kaili's eyes dimmed slightly.
"Your Master, the King of the Fire Prison, is not only one of the association's elders but also among the most powerful existences on Earth. He is the Guardian of the Southern Hemisphere."
As she spoke, she paused.
David was instantly shocked upon hearing this.
His Master was actually that incredible?
When he had met that man.
He looked like a Beggar.
David couldn't help but recall those memories.
"Hey, kid, do you want to learn magic? If you give me money, you can learn."
David thought of this.
He couldn't help but let out a small smile to himself.
Soon.
Their car arrived at the airport.
Then they took off from there in a private jet.
Subsequently.
The jet began to fly over the Amazon Rainforest.
"Jump."
Kaili told David to jump from the plane.
"Are you crazy? I'll die if I jump from here!"
David was instantly taken aback.
Kaili didn't care about his protests at all and pushed him directly out of the plane.
Then she followed and jumped out of the plane too.
David let out a scream like a slaughtered pig and then slammed his eyes shut.
Seemingly waiting for death to arrive.
"Shut up! Open your eyes!"
He heard Kaili's voice coming from behind him.
He cautiously opened his eyes.
And found himself actually floating in mid-air.
