103: kill

As the button sank, the silver-white metal wall in front automatically parted to both sides, revealing a doorway just wide enough for one person to pass through.

Inside the doorway was a semi-transparent, narrow passage, with the surroundings of the passage resembling a starry sky, as if it were currently in space.

Shi Yan did not hesitate, stepping forward decisively.

The feeling under his feet was cold and smooth, like glass, but even harder and colder than glass.

He strode forward while turning his head to look around.

Planets, some large, some small, came into Shi Yan’s view.

The surface of some planets was dark red, with a huge tornado constantly spinning and rolling on their surface.

Other planets were colorful like candy, with a large ring encircling them.

Occasionally, he could even see spaceships, the size of ants, flying around.

Right beneath Shi Yan’s feet, there was also an incredibly massive azure planet, its surface covered by a dark blue light shield.

“Is this still the Magic World?”

Shi Yan suddenly became curious; the previous dungeon introduction had indeed welcomed him to the Magic World.

But looking at the scene outside, he really couldn't connect this place with the Magic World.

A comet, at least several thousand meters long, suddenly appeared from a distance, trailing a deep purple tail flame, and was hurtling towards Shi Yan’s location.

!!!

Shi Yan’s expression changed, and he immediately tried to run back into the lounge behind him.

But the meteorite’s speed was extreme; it had already reached Shi Yan’s front almost the instant he saw it.

Shi Yan’s pupils dilated; the endless meteorite gave him an astonishing sense of oppression.

“How is this possible?!!!”

At this moment, his mind was still thinking in disbelief, how could Slaughter Paradise make such a major mistake? Who could survive this?

Just as the meteorite was about to smash into Shi Yan, a mechanical arm, at least tens of kilometers thick, instantly extended from a spatial ripple, pinching the meteorite like a candy bean with two fingers.

Then it slowly dragged it back into the spatial ripple and disappeared.

Shi Yan didn't care about the shock and immediately rushed towards the end of the passage, no longer daring to continue admiring the surrounding scenery.

At the end of the passage was a silver-white metal door suspended in the air, with a red button on its right side.

Shi Yan slammed his palm onto the button, and the silver-white metal door slowly began to open.

Shi Yan hurriedly squeezed in when the door was halfway open.

After entering the door, Shi Yan finally relaxed and looked around.

Beyond the door was a hall made entirely of silver-white metal panels.

The hall had no decorations inside, it was incredibly spacious, and on the right side of the hall was a glass floor-to-ceiling window, offering a view of the beautiful blue planet and the vast, boundless starry sky.

A person, pale all over like a Paper Man, stood quietly in front of the floor-to-ceiling window, looking at the scenery outside.

He seemed to hear the movement behind him and slowly turned his head to look in the direction of the sound.

A face, incredibly sinister-looking and with blush on his cheeks, came into Shi Yan’s view.

Shi Yan’s emotionless eyes met his surprised ones.

This person was none other than the Paper Man who had tried to kill Shi Yan earlier.

He didn't seem to have suffered any significant damage at this time, only his clothes were slightly disheveled.

The Paper Man felt incredibly absurd at this moment, how did this level 20 player survive?

And it seemed that even his clothes hadn't changed at all!

He narrowed his eyes, looking at Shi Yan thoughtfully.

It seemed that this level 20 player must have some great secret.

“Hello.”

A chilling smile suddenly appeared on his expressionless face.

His voice was as cold and biting as the Cold Wind from the extreme north.

Shi Yan continued to look at him expressionlessly, which made him feel that his intimidation was a bit redundant.

So he put away that terrifying expression and also became expressionless.

The Paper Man’s body suddenly floated lightly as if losing gravity, drifting slowly towards Shi Yan, then stopping one meter in front of Shi Yan.

“How did you survive?”

He looked at Shi Yan and asked coldly.

Originally, he had planned to send Shi Yan directly to hell, but now it seemed that he could first figure out the reason before sending him to hell.

As for the means by which Shi Yan could survive, he also had some guesses: it might have been through a loophole, or by using some kind of disposable super weapon, or of course, he might have been matched with a weak opponent, though that possibility was low.

“Do you really want to know?”

Shi Yan suddenly spoke.

“Now is not the beginning of the dungeon, if you don’t honestly confess…”

The Paper Man looked at Shi Yan expressionlessly, a bloodthirsty glint flickering in his cold eyes.

The sharp nails on his hands became even sharper at this moment, and his slender, fragile body suddenly inflated and grew larger as if being pumped full of air.

His four-meter-tall body looked down at Shi Yan, his mouth full of white teeth turning into sharp, jet-black teeth, looking full of oppressive power.

“I will let you know what fear is.”

The flat words came from his incredibly hideous mouth, as if it wasn't worth his deliberate emphasis.

Shi Yan slowly raised his head to look at him, his gaze utterly indifferent.

“I don’t quite understand…”

He spoke softly.

The Paper Man’s pupils suddenly constricted violently, his expression becoming incredibly distorted, and his monstrously large feet couldn’t help but take a step back.

“Wh—”

His teeth chattered non-stop, making a grinding sound.

His four-meter-tall body trembled violently.

A huge shadow gradually enveloped him, and the Paper Man’s four-meter-tall body seemed to shrink into a quail at this moment.

“Are you referring to fear like this?”

From the Paper Man’s constantly trembling pupils, a gradually enlarging bloody red hand could be seen.

Pfft!

With a sound like a bursting watermelon, the Paper Man’s head disappeared.

His four-meter-tall headless body swayed slowly back and forth, finally falling backward.

Shi Yan slowly released his right hand, a mass of pale flesh and bone fragments flowing down.

Shi Yan shook his right hand, then bent down and casually wiped it on the Paper Man’s clothes.

Then Shi Yan pulled out his Bloodthirsty Long Blade and stabbed it straight into the Paper Man’s corpse, which gradually withered.

A warm current flowed from the hilt into Shi Yan’s body.

[Constitution increased by 10 points]

A crystal emitting a pure white light floated above the Paper Man’s corpse.

Shi Yan reached out and touched it, and a cold current entered Shi Yan’s body.

Shi Yan summoned his ability panel while directing a stream of dark red energy towards the Paper Man’s corpse.

The dark red energy gently brushed over the Paper Man’s corpse, and his corpse quickly turned into nothing but a pile of black powder.
