18: Campus 5
Before entering the cafeteria, Shi Yan dismissed everyone, leaving only Li Ritian by his side.
Li Ritian also felt very strange, wondering why he was the only one left.
Everyone in the cafeteria turned their gaze towards them. They were especially shocked when they saw many people following behind Shi Yan.
Not everyone had witnessed the scene on the playground earlier.
Dozens of people in the entire cafeteria stared at Shi Yan in unison. If it were an ordinary person, they would probably be scared silly, but Shi Yan was not affected in the slightest.
Shi Yan walked nonchalantly to the serving counter in the cafeteria and said to one of the staff members,
"Give me some of this." Shi Yan casually ordered some dishes. "As for the money, let him pay for it."
Shi Yan pointed to Li Ritian beside him. He definitely didn't have a single penny on him, so he could only let someone else pay for him. Li Ritian nodded with a bitter expression.
It turned out that Shi Yan kept him just to make him pay. He used students' money so naturally; he really was a scoundrel.
After Shi Yan had Li Ritian pay, he dismissed him. Shi Yan carried his plate to a less crowded area, eating and pondering.
This instance has been experienced for half a day. The monsters in it are generally high-leveled; even a casual minion is level 5, and the Principal has reached level 8. If my strength wasn't so great, I might be like the other players right now.
Currently, the only person Shi Yan is wary of in the entire school is that mysterious Principal. Every time Shi Yan wants to kill those monsters, he can sense the Principal appearing nearby. Otherwise, Shi Yan would have already started a massacre.
As long as Shi Yan finds an opportunity to eliminate the Principal, the other ghosts will merely be within his grasp.
When Shi Yan was halfway through his meal, other monsters also began to enter the cafeteria one after another.
The players, however, waited at the entrance, not daring to enter. Most of them were pale, with injuries ranging from light to severe.
Only after all the monsters had finished eating did the players gradually enter the cafeteria.
After eating, Shi Yan had already arrived at the classroom early and sat down, waiting for the afternoon classes to begin.
It was not until 1:50 PM that the monsters walked out of the dormitory building on the right side of the cafeteria, each monster in pairs.
The entire afternoon's classes were undoubtedly very painful for the other players. The players all knew that if these monsters didn't want to play with them, they would probably all be dead by now.
Most players in this instance were level 3, with a few below level 3. They seemed strong, but they were still no match for these student monsters.
However, this afternoon was extremely comfortable for Shi Yan. Shi Yan directly had all the student monsters start self-study, while he comfortably lay on a bed made of several tables pushed together.
Of course, during this process, Shi Yan repeatedly wanted to kill a few monsters to test, but every time he was about to make a move, the Principal would appear on time beside him.
Shi Yan could only give up for now. He planned to try again at night to see if there was an opportunity to kill a few monsters.
Shi Yan's gaze at these student monsters in the classroom became increasingly greedy.
After classes each day, everyone needed to gather at the Principals Office. This was specifically stated on the form in the office earlier.
The Principal sat in the center, and after the surrounding players had taken their seats, the meeting began.
"Teachers, you've worked hard. How have the students been performing? Have they caused you any trouble?"
The Principal still maintained that benevolent appearance, but no one dared to underestimate him.
The Principal slowly turned his gaze to a player, who instantly shivered.
"No, no, the students have all been very good. Each one is very well-mannered and eager to improve." The player forced a smile.
Hearing this player's words, the other players twitched their mouths slightly as they looked at him, and Shi Yan also looked at him strangely.
That player was covered in blood, and his right sleeve was empty, yet he was still relentlessly praising the student monsters.
The Principal nodded and shifted his gaze to another player, who also immediately said a lot of flattering words of praise. That player was also covered in scars.
The Principal seemed completely oblivious to all of this and thanked all the players.
"Thank you very much for your hard work, teachers. After this teaching period, I will give you more salary."
When the players heard about the increased salary, they all became spirited and immediately began to actively praise the students, each one doing their utmost to praise them.
In this instance, the only thing that could be considered salary was slaughter points.
The Principal nodded in satisfaction, then began to explain how to better teach students and how to further improve their academic performance.
Finally, an hour later, the Principal finished saying everything he wanted to say.
"Let's end today's meeting here. Everyone should rest early. Your dormitory is on the right side of the cafeteria, and the Girl's dormitory is on the left side of the cafeteria. You can stay in any room within the two dormitory buildings."
Shi Yan finally perked up and immediately nodded.
After speaking, the Principal turned and walked directly out of the Principals Office.
"How was your day?"
"Don't even mention it. It's uncertain if I'll even survive tomorrow." The other players began to converse.
Shi Yan glanced around and noticed two people who were in relatively good condition. Compared to those around them who were missing limbs, these two were only slightly disheveled.
Shi Yan merely scanned the area and then withdrew his gaze. Their strength was decent, but they were far from comparable to him.
Shi Yan yawned, stood up, and walked towards the dormitory building, raising a hand to rub his eyes. When he lowered them, his eyes were filled with coldness, and a peculiar arc appeared at the corner of his mouth.
He still had to prepare for the hunting that was about to begin tonight. He just wondered if the Principal would know if he killed monsters in the night.
