17: Campus 4
“You may now return to your seats,” Shi Yan said to the four rebellious youths.
“There’s nothing wrong with making mistakes, as long as you’re willing to repent, I can forgive you all.”
Li Ritian and the others immediately nodded quickly.
“Yes, yes, Mr. Shi, you are absolutely right.”
“Mr. Shi, we will definitely study hard with our boss—no, with Li—student from now on.”
Shi Yan’s lips curved slightly, revealing a comforted smile.
“It’s good that you understand your teacher’s painstaking efforts. Now, go back.”
The four immediately turned and returned to their seats. Li Ritian felt the strange looks from his classmates and the throbbing pain on his face. He gritted his teeth fiercely. “Damn you, Mr. Shi, don’t let me find an opportunity!”
Noticing that Shi Yan had shifted his gaze over, Li Ritian immediately smiled and nodded at Shi Yan.
“Ding-a-ling.”
The class bell rang. Shi Yan clapped his hands, drawing the attention of the entire class.
“Students, class is dismissed. I will still be teaching the next class. This student performed very well in this class. What is your name?”
Shi Yan pointed at the beautiful Girl with the emotionless expression from before.
“Mr. Shi, my name is Li Xinyi.”
Li Xinyi softly replied.
“From now on, she will be your class monitor. When I’m not around, you all must listen to her.”
The rest of the class looked over in surprise, even the Girl herself was bewildered.
“This student is very pleasing to the teacher’s eye, so I’m making her the class monitor. Do you have any objections?”
“If you have any objections, you can raise them, and I will seriously consider them.”
How could the other students dare to say anything? They all shook their heads in unison.
“Not bad.”
Shi Yan got up and walked towards the classroom door. As soon as he stepped out of the classroom door, a figure blocked his way. Shi Yan’s expression hardened. The figure was the Principal.
“Mr. Shi, how are the students’ lessons progressing?”
The Principal asked with a benevolent expression.
“The students are all very good. Although a few children are quite mischievous, after my diligent guidance, they are now on the right path.”
Shi Yan nodded with a deeply felt expression.
“Thank you so much, Mr. Shi. These children are not bad by nature, actually.”
The Principal was full of gratitude and thanked Shi Yan.
“It’s my duty.”
After bidding farewell to the Principal, Shi Yan walked towards the office. Inside the office at this moment, screams echoed continuously.
“As soon as I walked in and opened the door, a human head fell in front of me. It scared me to death.”
“You’re still lucky. My students wanted me to show them what bones look like and kept clamoring for a biology class. In the end, I could only cut off a finger to satisfy them.”
Before Shi Yan even got close to the office, he heard a series of conversations. After opening the door, oh boy, almost everyone was injured. Losing a few fingers was already considered good; most were missing arms or legs, and some hadn’t even returned, not knowing if they were dead.
When everyone saw Shi Yan, they curiously asked him, “How come you’re completely fine?”
Shi Yan smiled and shook his head, saying, “They are not bad by nature, actually. As long as you teach them with sincerity, they will also know how to be grateful.”
The group of people had speechless expressions. If you don’t want to say it, then don’t say it; why spout such nonsense? How could they not know whether those students were bad by nature or not?
Seeing this, Shi Yan ignored them and walked to his own office area to sit down.
When it was time, Shi Yan walked into the classroom right on schedule. The students in the classroom were no longer in disarray like last time, but were sitting neatly in their seats, each placing their hands on their desks.
Shi Yan nodded in satisfaction at this scene.
The students were becoming more and more sensible.
Shi Yan walked to the podium and began his lecture.
“This class, we’re going outdoors for physical education. Everyone line up quietly; don’t disturb the other classes.”
“Yes!”
Everyone lined up in an orderly fashion and walked onto the sports field.
Shi Yan divided the students into two teams and had them play soccer against each other, while Shi Yan himself acted as the referee on the side.
Every student was full of laughter and joy during the game. After a few matches, the hostility in everyone’s eyes towards Shi Yan also lessened, creating a very harmonious atmosphere for a time.
The beautiful Li Xinyi looked at Shi Yan in surprise, her eyes sparkling with admiration.
“So impressive, he integrated the class so quickly.”
In the teaching building, Zhang Jian, the homeroom teacher of Class 1, Grade 1, had just calmed down his restless students. He wiped the sweat from his forehead and was about to continue lecturing when he looked out the window and saw Shi Yan and his students on the sports field outside. He was stunned on the spot.
It wasn’t just Zhang Jian; several students by the window in his class, who were sneering and mocking, were also stunned.
“Holy cow!”
One student couldn’t help but immediately stand up, looking out the window.
How could they be so harmonious? And everyone’s face was filled with happy smiles?
The rest of the students in the class also stood up one after another, looking out the window.
“Are those the Four Heavenly Kings of Class 1, Grade 2?”
The Four Heavenly Kings referred to Li Ritian, Zhao Ritian, Wang Ritian, and Hao Ritian.
“Why do they all look so obedient?”
At this moment, similar scenes were happening in other classes as well.
A Level 5 student was gnawing on an arm with exposed bones, his face ferocious.
And in the corner, a pale-faced Player, who had lost his right arm, was vigilantly watching that student.
The next moment, both of their gazes simultaneously turned to the scene outside the window, and both stood frozen in place.
The current scene was also happening in many other classes.
“Is this some new trick they’re playing?”
“Look at the person in the middle of them, it seems to be their teacher.”
“Is the person who came this time so formidable?”
“Their Four Heavenly Kings have fallen on hard times. Now, the overlords of the entire school are us, the Six Great War Gods!”
As the class bell rang, it was now 12:30 PM.
Shi Yan led everyone towards the cafeteria on the right side of the sports field.
