19: Campus 6
The sky gradually darkened.
The student monsters, having eaten dinner, began their post-meal strolls. At the edge of the school playground, there was a dry well, and from time to time, strolling student monsters would pass by it. Shi Yan was currently hiding inside.
“Hehehe, I wonder how many monsters I can take down tonight.”
Most of those students were actually cannibalistic monsters, but when fighting the Four Heavenly Kings earlier, he hadn't felt what abilities they possessed.
However, none of that mattered. What mattered was that Shi Yan could also increase his physique's strength by killing monsters. The importance of physique was beyond doubt; Shi Yan had been able to overwhelm Li Ritian and the others precisely because of his superb physique.
“Did you hear? The homeroom teacher of Class 2-1 seems really powerful. He subdued the Four Heavenly Kings on his first day.”
“Heh, just so-so. If it were me, I’d have sucked them dry.”
Conversations broke out, and footsteps grew closer.
Suddenly, two blood-red hands stretched out, each grabbing a monster and dragging them into the dry well. The two student monsters lost consciousness before they could even react.
“Hmm?”
This time, Shi Yan gained nothing after killing the two ghosts.
Shi Yan sighed slightly. Indeed, the monsters here were special. He had vaguely sensed it when fighting Li Ritian and the others; these student monsters had no special abilities.
It was already midnight, and Shi Yan quietly emerged from the dry well.
“What a pity, otherwise I don’t know how many abilities I could have gained.”
Shi Yan slowly shook his head. Killing these Weird (anomalies) was completely useless.
Shi Yan slowly walked towards the dormitory building.
But in the teaching building behind Shi Yan, a figure had been watching Shi Yan, and a hint of killing intent was revealed in that figure's eyes.
The sky gradually brightened.
The players got up early and sat in the office, each one sweating anxiously, pacing back and forth, discussing how to survive today.
Shi Yan did not go to the office but timed his arrival, leisurely walking into the classroom.
At this moment, the student monsters in the classroom were sitting upright, their postures perfectly straight.
Shi Yan nodded with satisfaction. Very good.
“You all can study on your own this class.”
After Shi Yan finished speaking, he lay down and went to sleep. After disciplining these student monsters, he was simply too lazy to bother with them anymore.
“Mr. Shi is still the same as before.”
Li Xinyi stared at Shi Yan, watching him curiously.
After a day passed like this, the players, as usual, went to the Principals Office to begin their meeting.
“Teachers, you all worked hard today. How did the students perform today?”
After the Principal finished speaking, he shifted his gaze to Shi Yan.
“Mr. Shi, how is the teaching situation there?”
The other players also turned their gaze to Shi Yan, full of curiosity, after all, this was the big shot who had not suffered any harm for two consecutive days.
Only a few players remained, and even the two players who had not been injured before looked pale and much weaker.
“I wasn't teaching at all. I was just lying there sleeping.” Shi Yan's lips moved slightly, but the words he spoke were extremely shocking.
The air in the Principals Office instantly solidified.
“Holy crap!”
One player couldn't help but exclaim in surprise, his mouth agape wide enough to fit an apple.
The other players also stared at Shi Yan, dumbfounded. Is this big shot really that bold? Not even bothering to pretend.
Shi Yan's eyes were calm, his right hand propping up his cheek, as he calmly looked at the Principal.
Upon hearing this, the Principal's head instantly began to swell, and his entire body's muscles wildly expanded, transforming him into a three-meter-tall muscular giant. His benevolent face, like a mask, directly transformed into an angry countenance.
“I didn't settle accounts with you for snatching two of my leeks yesterday, and today you dare to neglect your duties? I'm going to kill you.”
After the Principal finished speaking, he walked towards Shi Yan step by step. Each step the Principal took caused the surrounding walls to vibrate, and footprints were left on the ground he walked across.
The surrounding players had already scattered and fled the moment the Principal transformed.
“Is this person stupid? It's almost over, and you're too lazy to even make up an excuse?”
One player clutched his head, running towards the door while loudly complaining.
“Now you've done it. The strongest Principal is enraged. You can just wait to die.”
Another player also ran while looking at Shi Yan with an excited expression.
Was Shi Yan stupid? Of course not. Shi Yan just felt that there was no need to pretend anymore, because time was running out, and the instance was about to end.
Moreover, this Principal monster was no longer his opponent. He also really wanted to see what rewards he could get after killing this Level 8 monster.
Shi Yan's mouth curved into a grin, revealing shark-like teeth.
“Old man, you can die now.”
After Shi Yan spoke, a cloud of bloody mist burst from his entire body. After the mist dissipated, a three-meter-tall blood-red giant appeared in everyone's eyes. The giant's face was covered with a layer of blood-red carapace.
“Holy crap! He can transform too?”
One player turned his head, running while looking back.
Upon hearing this, the fleeing crowd stopped one after another. A few quick-witted individuals were already prepared from a distance, their eyes flickering with a hint of greed.
The Principal and Shi Yan exchanged a punch, and Shi Yan was knocked back a few steps. It seemed there was still some pressure fighting a Level 8 monster at the moment, but Shi Yan had enough skills. Shi Yan directly planned to rely on his virtualization to clash head-on with the Principal.
Shi Yan was the first to thrust a palm towards the Principal's face. The Principal also punched Shi Yan fiercely. Shi Yan suddenly virtualized, and the Principal's punch missed, while Shi Yan's palm solidly pierced the Principal's head.
The Principal screamed loudly from the stab, his voice deafening.
The expression on his face grew even more furious. The two exchanged punches like this, but basically, it was Shi Yan beating the Principal, and the Principal could only hit Shi Yan occasionally. However, because of the two layers of defense, he was not injured.
As the two fought longer, the Principal accumulated more and more wounds on his body, eventually collapsing to the ground from exhaustion.
“I… I am unwilling!”
The Principal said through gritted teeth. He wasn't originally the Principal of this school; he had been purchased through Slaughter Paradise. This instance was also one that could be traded.
Originally, he had planned to come and see how his cultivated leeks were growing, and incidentally take on a part-time job as Principal to collect some slaughter points. He never expected to die like this. If he had been given more time to harvest all the leeks in the entire school, he would definitely have been able to reach Level 10.
After the Principal died, a translucent, crystal-clear blood-red key emerged from his body.
