61: Super regeneration

Shi Yan chuckled as he put away the magical coins. This time, he had purely earned several thousand magical coins. This Magic World truly was his blessed land.

Not long after, the glass door was slowly pushed open. This time, three yellow-skinned lizardmen entered the supermarket one by one. These lizardmen looked like enlarged lizards that had stood upright, and they wore simple black strips of cloth over some key areas.

The latter two lizardmen were about 1.5 meters tall, while the leading lizardman was slightly taller, around 1.6 meters.

As soon as these lizardmen entered the supermarket, they furtively surveyed the interior.

The leading lizardman's eyes lit up when he saw a human sitting behind the cashier counter. His eyeballs darted around, and he walked towards Shi Yan.

"Boss, we need to buy something. I wonder if you have it here."

The leading lizardman's voice was sharp, and his vertical pupils stared intently at Shi Yan's arm.

"Oh? What do you want?"

Shi Yan looked at the leading lizardman with a smile, seemingly not noticing the lizardman's gaze.

"I want to eat your arm."

The leading lizardman stopped pretending, extending his long, crimson tongue to lick his lips.

The other two lizardmen also stood on either side of the leading lizardman, all staring at Shi Yan.

"Oh? In broad daylight, you dare to eat me?"

Shi Yan showed a hint of curiosity. Although he was a human, he was currently serving as the store manager, and the orderly streets outside also indicated that this street was managed by someone.

"You can only blame yourself for being Vadi's subordinate."

The leading lizardman did not tell Shi Yan why they dared to do this, only saying a puzzling remark.

However, even without them saying it, Shi Yan understood the general situation. It was likely an operation orchestrated by Vadi's opposing forces, deliberately sending subordinates to harass the supermarkets Vadi operated.

He hadn't expected such dark competition to exist in the Magic World. A trace of interest flashed in Shi Yan's eyes at this thought.

"If you cut off your own arm and give it to us, I might let you go."

The lizardman on the leading lizardman's right spoke, a hint of mockery flashing across his face.

"You want my arm? Alright, I'll give it to you."

Shi Yan finished speaking with a slight smile, and with a speed that none of the three lizardmen could react to, he swiftly severed the leading lizardman's right arm and held it in his hand.

"Here, this is the arm you wanted. What else do you want? Just say it."

Shi Yan held the section of yellowish-brown arm out in front of the leading lizardman.

The leading lizardman slowly lowered his head, his expression blank, and stared at the arm in Shi Yan's hand, momentarily stunned. Was this arm his?

A searing pain shot through his right arm, making the leading lizardman break out in a cold sweat, but he endured the pain without crying out directly.

The other two lizardmen stared dumbfounded at the arm in Shi Yan's hand. A chill went straight to their heads. They now knew they had provoked someone they shouldn't have.

Ignoring the pain, the leading lizardman fell to his knees with a clang, and the other two lizardmen quickly followed suit, kneeling on the ground.

They kowtowed while explaining why they dared to cause trouble here.

"Great Lord, please spare us!"

"We were all forced by Crocodile Tyrant to come and cause trouble!"

"If we didn't come to cause trouble, Crocodile Tyrant would kill us!"

Through their words, Shi Yan understood the whole story.

Vadi was the owner of all the chain supermarkets on this street, and Crocodile Tyrant was the owner of chain supermarkets on another street. Crocodile Tyrant had set his sights on Vadi's chain supermarket company and wanted to acquire Vadi's company.

How could Vadi possibly agree? So Crocodile Tyrant began recruiting people to cause trouble in each of Vadi's supermarkets, hoping to even kill the store managers directly.

"Doesn't that Crocodile Tyrant fear the management organization of this street coming after him?"

Shi Yan asked again.

This time, the leading lizardman dared not conceal anything and directly said, "Great Lord, you may not know, but mutual takeovers between companies are very common in the Magic World. As long as it doesn't cause major destruction, the authorities turn a blind eye to these things."

Shi Yan nodded thoughtfully. He also understood now. Is it the law of the jungle, survival of the fittest?

The three lizardmen knelt on the ground, trembling, awaiting their fate.

"Thank you for your explanation."

Shi Yan's lips parted, exhaling a stream of high-temperature red air. The air gently brushed past the three lizardmen, and a smell of burnt charcoal entered Shi Yan's nostrils.

The three lizardmen vanished, leaving behind only three piles of black powder on the ground where they had been kneeling.

"Nasty."

Shi Yan frowned slightly. He reached out and pushed open the tightly closed glass door. Wisps of air carrying tiny ice crystals rose without a breeze, carrying the three piles of black powder out of the door.

The black powder floated out of the door and dispersed with the wind, disappearing without a trace.

"It's dark."

Outside the window, the sky had become completely dark at some unknown point.

Neon lights of various colors lit up all around, and strange-looking creatures appeared unusually eerie under the illumination of the various lights.

Shi Yan looked up slightly at the sky, which was completely different from daytime. Stars of various colors shimmered with an unusual glow, but they were all suppressed by the bright moonlight.

Three moons, of unknown size, stretched across the sky, and their positions surprisingly coincided perfectly with the three great suns from daytime. Was it a coincidence, or...

Shi Yan admired the view for a moment before closing the glass door and flipping the "Open" sign to "Temporarily Closed."

He turned around, and a teleportation array identical to the previous one appeared before Shi Yan, its position unchanged.

Shi Yan ignored the teleportation array and walked to where the three lizardmen had died. Three crystals of the same color appeared there.

Inside each crystal, a red light flickered. Shi Yan touched them one by one with anticipation.

Three warm currents flowed into Shi Yan's body in succession.

Shi Yan summoned his ability panel.

Abilities: Head Deformation, Blood紋 Control +1, Full Body Panel Enhancement, Shadow Transformation, Moon Power, Dan Pill Production, Shadow Gas, Physical Enhancement, Blood Curse, Laser Eye, Hair Extension and Contraction, Flexibility, Underwater Breathing, Bomb Generation, Vine Power +1, Mental Impact, Quick Dash, Lava Body, Cold Wind, Super Regeneration.

Shi Yan raised an eyebrow slightly at the new skill, a look of interest appearing on his face.

Super Regeneration: Greatly increases self-healing speed.

"Haha, I didn't expect this."

Shi Yan laughed as he looked at the skill description in his mind. He hadn't expected that just a few low-level lizards, only level ten-something, could drop such an excellent skill.

Before, Shi Yan only had defensive capabilities. If he got injured, he could only recover on his own. Now, with Super Regeneration, he was completely unafraid of getting injured. Although he hadn't tested it yet, just by looking at the skill description, he knew how powerful this skill was.

Shi Yan stepped onto the teleportation array. A flash of light, and Shi Yan disappeared from his original spot.

His vision gradually cleared. He was now back in the hall where he had first entered the instance.

This time, Shi Yan was mentally prepared and had experience, so he didn't feel the obvious dizziness he had experienced last time.
