Chapter 147 Another devastating piece of news: Zombies have entered the building!

The Public Channel instantly exploded.

[7th Floor - 783 - Huang Zihao: It's over, it's over! LV5?! How are we supposed to fight that?!]

[2nd Floor - 224 - Lao Jingjing: Damn it! Just as I saw a glimmer of hope for survival, this happens?!]

[9th Floor - 633 - Sun Leixin: Where is Boss Su Ze?! Boss, come back quickly!]

[5th Floor - 431 - Hu Ke: I don't want to die... I really don't want to die...]

Wails of despair rose one after another.

The players who were just desperately upgrading their doors and coordinating the Kiting Tactics were now all in a panic.

Lv.2 Zombies are already stronger than adult females.

Level 3 Zombies are stronger than normal adult males.

Not to mention Lv.4; they aren't something ordinary people can handle.

LV5?

How terrifying would that be?

Inside Dormitory 404.

Jiang Yuwan's expression was grim to the extreme.

"Sister Yuwan..." Yao Qingya's voice was trembling, "LV5... we..."

"What do we do?" Liu Qiaofei tightly gripped Yao Qingya's hand, her pure face filled with panic.

Su Meier also put away her usual flirtatiousness. She walked up to Jiang Yuwan and lowered her voice.

"Commander Jiang, how about... we look out for ourselves first?"

Li Xinran let out a cold snort.

"I told you long ago, why bother with those people? Surviving ourselves is the most important thing."

An Lan didn't say a word, only tightening her grip on the watermelon knife in her hand.

Qiao Yunge also fell silent, thinking of her younger brother, Qiao Yunfeng.

Could the Tenth Floor... hold out?

Jiang Yuwan took a deep breath, forcing herself to calm down.

She turned and walked to the corner of the Dormitory, taking out a metal base that shimmered with blue light from her backpack.

[Hunting Trap]

This was something Su Ze had given her previously.

He had said that if the Dormitory ever faced danger,

this trap could be placed at the door to significantly boost their defensive capabilities.

Jiang Yuwan looked at the trap in her hand, then at the two fine-quality turrets outside the Dormitory door.

The serial crossbow box, the Heavy Crossbow Turret, plus this trap, and the fine-quality door that had just been upgraded to LV4...

Her home in Dormitory 404 on the 4th floor should be the safest place in the entire school.

But...

Desperate cries for help from the Public Channel flashed through her mind.

Most of those players were just ordinary people.

They didn't have fine-quality turrets, they didn't have traps, and they didn't even have decent weapons.

If an LV5 Zombie really appeared, they wouldn't be able to hold out at all.

When that happened, more than half of the players in the entire Dormitory building would likely be killed or injured.

Jiang Yuwan knew very well that only if enough players survived could people like them live better.

However, before she could even react,

another fatal piece of bad news arrived!

On the Public Channel, cries for help from players on the First Floor appeared one after another.

[1st Floor - 001 - Feng Siyuan (landlord): Holy crap! I saw through the peephole that the zombies from outside have come in!!!]

[1st Floor - 999 - Li Tao (tenant): They're everywhere—zombies coming in from outside! They're packed together!! Oh no! They're attacking our dormitories! Help!!!]

[1st Floor - 152 - Hu Yiduo (landlord): What's going on?! Weren't the zombies outside supposed to stay out of the Dormitory building?!]

Players on other floors instantly exploded in an uproar.

[5th Floor - 641 - Wan Mingming: What's the situation? The zombies from outside came in? That's impossible!]

[7th Floor - 452 - He Jiajia: This didn't happen during the previous six nights! The zombies outside never actively entered the Dormitory building!]

[9th Floor - 743 - Guo Xiaoyue: It's over, it's over! The number of zombies outside is dozens of times more than inside the building! If they all come in... it's game over for everyone!!]

Panic spread like a plague.

Everyone knew how terrifying the number of zombies outside the Dormitory building was.

During the previous six nights, they only had to deal with the zombies that spawned inside the building. Though difficult, the numbers were at least manageable.

But now...

If those thousands of zombies from outside swarmed in, forget Kiting Tactics—they wouldn't even be able to hold their doors!

Zhuang Qianhao's private message popped up in front of Jiang Yuwan almost at the same time.

[Private Chat - Zhuang Qianhao: Ms. Jiang! The First Floor can't hold on! All the zombies from outside have come in! There are too many of them!]

[Private Chat - Zhuang Qianhao: I've already distributed all the materials, and all the copper coins have been used to buy more, but it's simply not enough!]

[Private Chat - Zhuang Qianhao: Now there are swarms of zombies outside every Dormitory door! The Kiting Tactics are completely useless!]

[Private Chat - Zhuang Qianhao: And... if the First Floor falls, the zombies will charge up the stairs, and the other floors won't be safe either!]

Jiang Yuwan looked at this message, her finger pausing on the virtual panel for a second.

She saw the image sent by Zhuang Qianhao.

In the image, the number of zombies in the First Floor corridor had reached a terrifying level.

They were so densely packed that the floor was barely visible.

Lv.2 and Level 3 Zombies were huddled together, frantically slamming against every Dormitory door.

Furthermore, a steady stream of zombies continued to pour in from outside the building.

This number...

Jiang Yuwan's brow furrowed tightly.

Something was wrong.

Something was very wrong.

Over the past seven days, the zombies outside had never once entered the Dormitory building of their own accord.

Why did this happen tonight of all nights, just when Su Ze had lost contact?

But now was not the time to investigate the cause.

She had to find a way to stabilize the situation!

Jiang Yuwan took a deep breath, her fingers tapping rapidly on the panel.

[Jiang Yuwan: @All Leaders, emergency orders!]

[Jiang Yuwan: All dormitories on the First Floor, abandon the Kiting Tactics immediately and focus entirely on upgrading your doors! Upgrade them as many levels as you can!]

[Jiang Yuwan: Other floors, immediately take stock of your materials and copper coins, and prioritize supporting the First Floor!]

[Jiang Yuwan: The First Floor must not fall! If the First Floor falls, we're all finished!]

Almost instantly, the ten great leaders replied in unison.

[Wang Meng: Received! The Third Floor will support immediately!]

[Xu Feng: Eighth Floor, received!]

[Qiao Yunfeng: Tenth Floor, received!]

In the Public Channel, Jiang Yuwan's orders were also sent out at the same time.

[4th Floor - 404 - Jiang Yuwan: @All Members, attention everyone!]

[4th Floor - 404 - Jiang Yuwan: The First Floor is facing a massive zombie tide impact. All floors must support the First Floor immediately!]

[4th Floor - 404 - Jiang Yuwan: Anyone with extra materials, trade them to the First Floor players through the trade channel immediately!]

[4th Floor - 404 - Jiang Yuwan: If the First Floor can't hold out, we're all going to die!]

These words made everyone realize the gravity of the situation.

On the Public Channel, countless players began to take action.

For a moment, every player in the entire Dormitory building was on the move.

A steady stream of materials poured toward the First Floor through the trade channel.

After receiving the materials, the First Floor players immediately began frantically upgrading their doors.

Meanwhile, in the Teaching Building, several Lv.4 zombies seemed to have just undergone a brutal battle.

The sole surviving zombie was ravenously devouring the other Lv.4 zombies.

Its form also seemed to be rapidly changing...
