Chapter 4: No Morals, No Kidnapping
Outside the door, the shouts and pleas of girls rose and fell, urgent and tinged with a hint of begging.
"Student Su Ze, please, I beg you, take me in!"
"landlord, I can really do anything!"
Su Ze did not act immediately. His voice pierced through the wooden door: "Wait a moment, all of you, stop the noise."
He turned around, his gaze sweeping across the interior of the Dormitory, finally resting on the three rust-stained bunk beds.

[Description: A creaky, dilapidated iron bed that can barely accommodate sleep, but shouldn't be used for sleeping;]
A thought stirred in his mind, and he chose to deconstruct two of the beds.
A faint glimmer of light flashed, and the two bunk beds instantly vanished, leaving behind only two scattered piles of materials.
He collected the materials into his player inventory.
[Obtained Wood Material*20].
[Obtained Iron Material*10].
Having completed this, Su Ze retreated to a spot two meters behind the door, his gaze falling upon Jiang Yuwan.
"Go open the door," he said, his tone flat.
Ripples still lingered in Jiang Yuwan's heart from the earlier "counseling," the flush on her cheeks not yet faded.
Hearing Su Ze's words, she took a deep breath, striving to calm her emotions, and walked to the door.
Outside, the previously clamorous girls instantly fell silent.
They had expected to see a boy, but never imagined that the one opening the door would be Jiang Yuwan, the famously aloof and beautiful Counselor from the school.
Jiang Yuwan's face still bore a not-yet-completely-faded blush, her clothes slightly disheveled,
and the air was permeated with an unusual, complex scent mixed with certain other odors.
This caused many of the girls outside the door to freeze in place.
Many of them were not inexperienced young misses and quickly understood what might have transpired.
After a brief silence, the girls grew restless again.
They jostled forward, vying to catch Su Ze's attention.
"Student Su Ze, I'm Li Jiaxin, the class monitor from the class next to yours. I... I usually have very good grades, and I also have strong organizational skills. I can help you manage the Dormitory!"
A well-dressed girl spoke first, her voice carrying a note of urgency.
"Senior Su Ze, I'm your junior, Lin Shiyu! Remember me? I... I'm especially good at cooking, and I'm also very strong, I can move things!"
Another sweet-looking girl shouted after her, forcing a smile, trying to appear more amiable.
"Landlord, I beg you, take me in. I'm willing to do anything! I can... I can do laundry, clean, anything at all!"
A slightly petite girl practically cried out these words.
"And me..."
Su Ze stood two meters behind the door. He did not step forward, merely scanning the girls before him.
Most of them could indeed be considered pretty, but there was clearly still a significant gap compared to Jiang Yuwan; they obviously hadn't been judged as "goddesses" by the system.
Since that was the case, they held no value for utilization.
"All of you, go back," Su Ze shook his head.
These words caused the girls to stare at him in stunned disbelief.
"Why?"
"Not pretty enough."
These simple four words plunged the previously noisy scene into another brief, deathly silence.
The expressions on the girls' faces froze. They looked at each other, their eyes filled with incredulity.
"What did you say?" Li Jiaxin's voice trembled slightly. She never expected to receive such a direct and brutal evaluation.
"Yeah, where aren't we pretty?!" Lin Shiyu couldn't help but retort, her voice choked with tears.
The other girls also flushed red, a mix of grievance and anger intertwining.
"Compared to her, you indeed are not," he said, pointing at Jiang Yuwan standing by the door.
Jiang Yuwan's body stiffened once more. She hadn't expected Su Ze to say this.
For a moment, shame and embarrassment made her wish she could find a crack in the ground to disappear into.
Following Su Ze's pointing finger, the girls looked at Jiang Yuwan again.
Although Jiang Yuwan appeared somewhat disheveled at the moment, her demeanor and looks were truly top-tier among them—the type that could be spotted at a glance even in a crowd of beauties.
But even so, they were unwilling to concede.
"Student Su Ze, although we may not compare to Counselor Jiang, we have our own value too! Please, give us a chance, okay?"
"Senior Su Ze, but... but I have good skills! Definitely better than Counselor Jiang! You can test the goods first!"
"Please, I beg you to take me in. I really can do anything. I'll do whatever you tell me to..."
"..."
As the women pleaded, a clamor arose from the far end of the corridor.
A group of girls walked over with an imposing air.
"Everyone, listen! This is the so-called outstanding student of our Jinghai University! At this critical juncture of life and death, he's still picking and choosing, letting his little head control his big head! You think this is a selection for a concubine? Utterly unworthy of the nation's cultivation!"
A girl with dark skin, a portly figure, and a face that could barely be recognized as human squeezed out from the crowd.
Her face was filled with indignation.
It was Tan Jing, the one who had previously accused Su Ze of "gender discrimination" in the public channel.
Behind her followed a group of rather plain-looking girls, their expressions filled with righteous indignation.
"Su Ze! Your behavior is simply outrageous! You know perfectly well how dangerous it is outside, yet you turn away these innocent girls because of your own selfish desires! This is refusing to save those in mortal danger!"
"Exactly! Someone like you isn't even fit to be called a human!"
"He's just a beast! Only thinking about his own pleasure!"
"A scumbag who only cares about looks like him deserves to be eaten by zombies!"
The girls behind Tan Jing chimed in one after another, a tide of foul language and insults surging towards Su Ze.
Jiang Yuwan stood by the door, her face pale. She wanted to say something, but didn't know where to start.
She understood Su Ze's logic and was aware of the harsh realities of the apocalypse, but hearing these words still made her feel deeply uncomfortable.
The other girls nearby also began chattering in agreement.
"That's right, you can't just think of yourself and ignore everyone else!"
"With such short-sightedness, how will you survive in the apocalypse?"
Yet Su Ze remained expressionless, merely watching this group of agitated girls calmly.
"Moral kidnapping?" Su Ze suddenly sneered. "Too bad, I have no morals. You can't kidnap me."
"Now, I'm giving you three seconds to leave this place."
"Three."
Su Ze's voice was steady, but the pressure contained within it made Tan Jing and the girls behind her shudder inwardly.
They felt a twinge of fear, but seeing their own numbers, they felt they couldn't show weakness.
"Stop trying to scare us!"
Tan Jing steeled herself and took a step forward,
"We're not leaving! You have to take us in! Otherwise, we'll expose your behavior to everyone, let the whole world know your true colors!"
The girls behind her also began to clamor, as if this could amplify their momentum and intimidate Su Ze.
"Two," Su Ze said, his face still devoid of expression.
A few of the girls behind Tan Jing were already beginning to waver.
But Tan Jing refused to back down.
She firmly believed that as long as they had numbers, Su Ze wouldn't dare to actually take action.
"Don't think we're easy to bully! If you don't take us in today, we're not leaving this spot!"
Tan Jing, her voice fierce but her courage weak, planted her hands on her hips and took another step forward, trying to overwhelm Su Ze with her presence.
"One..."
As Su Ze uttered the word, his eyes completely took on an air of impatience and ice-cold indifference.
Tan Jing and the girls behind her instinctively took a step back.
Fear surged in their hearts like a tide!
At this tense, standoffish moment, a male voice accompanied by footsteps sneered, breaking the silence.
"Well, well, well, so fierce~ Let's see what you, that soft egg Su Ze, dare to do!"
