1270: Chapter 1270 I am retired, yet I speak so arrogantly.

"The outside world... still has a Rank 6?!"

Among the three, it was unclear who had blurted this out, their voice filled with unconcealable shock.

They had always assumed that in this outside world, Rank 5 was the peak, and Rank 6 had been cut off.

Yet now, a living, breathing Rank 6 stood before them, and their Aura was so steady that it didn't look like they had just achieved a Breakthrough at all.

"Who are you, Your Excellency?"

Another asked in a deep voice, their tone filled with more scrutiny and vigilance than mere gravity.

Their gaze swept back and forth over Feng Xiu, attempting to deduce more information from the details on him.

The patterns on that dark gold martial outfit, the style of the longsword that had yet to appear, and even the posture in which he stood and the rhythm of his breathing.

The three reacted differently; some were horrified, some grave, and others remained composed on the surface.

Regardless of how their expressions changed, they all shared one common action—they prepared themselves to fight at any moment.

Almost in the same instant, three Rank 6 Auras, like three monstrous tidal waves, crashed toward Feng Xiu with the force of an avalanche.

A silent roar seemed to echo through the air, the dust on the ground was shaken and scattered, and even the surrounding grass and trees trembled under this Aura.

Feng Xiu, however, only smiled slightly.

The smile remained faint, as if what was pressing down on him was not a Rank 6 Aura capable of making an ordinary Cultivator collapse to the ground, but merely three gentle breezes.

At the same time, an Aura not the least bit weaker than their combined strength, and perhaps even slightly superior, emanated from him.

That Aura was neither explosive nor ostentatious; it did not surge like a tsunami as theirs did, but was as steady as the pulse of the earth and as heavy as an ancient mountain range.

It did not engage in a head-on confrontation but steadily stood its ground against the three Auras, each occupying its own side, neither retreating an inch nor pressing forward too aggressively, as if declaring a fact—even if the three of you join forces, you may not be able to do anything to me.

"Feng Xiu, greetings to you all!"

His voice was not loud, but every word was clear and powerful, as if carved into the air with a blade, lingering for a long time.

The newcomer was none other than one of Li Wuji's four great Clones—Feng Xiu.

Furthermore, he had also reached Rank 6.

As soon as his voice fell, Feng Xiu raised his right hand, his fingers slightly curled, and he grabbed sharply.

The air suddenly solidified, and an invisible force gathered, compressed, and solidified in his palm, as if an invisible hand had drawn a long-dormant divine weapon from the Void Realm.

In the next instant, a dark gold longsword appeared in his hand out of thin air. The blade was slender and cold, and the dark gold patterns extended from the hilt to the tip, like flowing magma frozen in its most beautiful moment, or as if some ancient Law of heaven and earth had been forged into a physical form.

With the longsword in hand, Feng Xiu's Aura changed abruptly.

If he had been a steady, reserved mountain just a moment ago, then now, he was a volcano ready to erupt at any time—beneath the calm, power capable of destroying the heavens and extinguishing the earth was brewing.

"My original self has given orders to capture you all."

He raised his eyes to look at the three people opposite him. His gaze was calm but unquestionable. The smile at the corners of his mouth had not diminished in the slightest, but in those eyes, deep as black holes, the smile did not reach the depths.

"Therefore, I ask you three... not to make things difficult for me."

The expressions of those three became even uglier than before.

They exchanged glances, and both saw the same thoughts in each other's eyes.

If they were in their prime, the three of them joining forces would never fall into a disadvantage, even when facing a Rank 6 Feng Xiu; they would even have a high chance of winning.

But now... they were heavily injured, their strength less than thirty or forty percent of their usual level. The only thing that could be called an advantage was the benefit of having three against one.

But in the face of an absolute disparity in strength, how much of this advantage could remain?

"Who is behind you?"

One of them asked in a deep voice, their voice already carrying a hint of hoarseness, "Do you know who we are?"

These words were heavy, implicitly carrying a threatening tone. In their understanding, given their status and origins, no matter how strong an outsider was, they would have to give them some face, and perhaps not dare to offend them easily.

Feng Xiu shook his head.

The movement of shaking his head was light, yet it carried an unquestionable firmness, as if he had weighed all the pros and cons long ago, and the answer had never changed from the beginning.

The Aura on his body began to climb slowly, the dark gold longsword in his hand turned slightly, its tip slanted toward the ground, ready to strike.

"It is useless to say more now."

His voice remained as calm as ever, even carrying a faint hint of a smile, as if he were stating a fact that could not be simpler.

"It will not be too late to talk in detail after I have captured the three of you."

As his voice fell, the surrounding air seemed to solidify at this moment.

The wind stopped, the light stilled, and between heaven and earth, only a figure as straight as a pine remained, confronting three gazes that were as if facing a great enemy, in the silence.

Before Feng Xiu's words had even finished, his figure had already moved.

With the first step he took, circles of golden ripples emerged in the Void Realm, as if he were stepping on a calm lake surface.

Those ripples spread out, and upon touching the surrounding residual space fragments, the fragments quieted down like tamed beasts, no longer restless.

This step was not only an attack but also a declaration—from now on, he is the Dominator of this battlefield.

The man with a sinister face—named Gu Li, from the Asura Race—his pupils shrank sharply.

He had fought for countless years and had seen countless experts, yet he had never seen anyone who could control the rhythm of the battlefield with such ease.

This step by Feng Xiu appeared simple, but in reality, he had completely brought the Void Realm around him under his control; wherever the golden light shone, that was his Domain.

"Join forces!"

Gu Li gave a low shout, and the three survivors immediately closed in. Although they were heavily injured, they were, after all, Rank 6 Immortal-level experts, and the Battle Intent honed through countless life-and-death battles would not fade because of their injuries.

The three stood back-to-back, forming a triangular formation. Various protective divine lights lit up simultaneously, weaving into a three-colored light curtain in the Void Realm.

The other two: one was an expert from the Dragon Clan, named Ao Lie.

He had a slender figure, a cold face, and two horns on his forehead. Although most of his Dragon scales were shattered, the remaining scales still shimmered with a dark gold luster.

His right arm had been severely burned in the previous explosion, the flesh and skin curled back, revealing the charred bones underneath, but in those golden vertical pupils, there was no fear, only cold Battle Intent.

The other was an expert from the Demon Race, named Mo Yuan.

He had a burly build, his skin was deep red, and black runes flowed across his body, but the light of the runes was much dimmer than before, and only half of the fleshy wings on his back remained, with black blood still dripping from the broken edges.

He grinned, revealing a mouthful of sharp teeth, his eyes full of madness and viciousness.

"A Rank 6 who popped out from who knows where, and you dare to speak such boastful words?"

Mo Yuan sneered, black demonic flames condensing in his palm, "The number of Rank 6s I have killed is more than you have ever seen."
