982: King Zhang to the Alliance, Mid-Tier 4

As Luo Xiu swiftly flew over the bustling Mingde City, his keen perception instantly detected the familiar Auras of Li Mingxuan and Yue Shan in the residential area below.

To him, the Auras of these two were like faint starlight in the night sky—not dazzling, yet he still captured them with precision.

However, he had no intention of stopping even for a moment.

At this moment, he had more important goals in mind, and as long as these two did not hinder his actions, that was enough.

The dark golden stream of light resembled an agile and ferocious true dragon, carrying suffocating pressure as it tore through the sky with an unstoppable force.

Wherever the stream of light passed, the air seemed to ignite, emitting a sizzling sound.

It raced toward the direction of the Human Alliance headquarters, so fast it seemed to break through the constraints of time and space.

In its wake, the originally white, cotton-like clouds were torn apart by immense force, scattering into chaotic wisps.

The energy between heaven and earth seemed to tremble and wail, like helpless lambs facing a ferocious beast.

All living beings on the ground felt their hearts and courage shatter; those with weaker cultivation even had their legs go weak, collapsing to the ground with eyes full of fear and despair.

Behind him, four equally powerful but slightly inferior streams of Devilish Qi closely followed, like four black flood dragons.

These were the Four Great Demon Generals, who had regained their strength and received significant enhancements with Luo Xiu's help.

They followed Luo Xiu closely, their target clear—straight for the heart of the Human Alliance!

...

At the Human Alliance headquarters, on the vast square.

Sunlight shone on the stone slabs of the square, which should have been a scene of peace, but now it was filled with a tense atmosphere.

Dragon Xuanyuan stood with his hands behind his back, his posture as straight and unyielding as a pine tree, like an unshakable, towering mountain.

His face was as calm as still water, showing no trace of panic or fear; only his deep eyes shimmered with a mysterious, star-like light, as if holding endless wisdom and strategy.

He had long sensed Luo Xiu's approach—that undisguised, destructive Fourth Order pressure, like the dead silence before a storm, weighed heavily on everyone's hearts.

This pressure felt like an invisible boulder, suffocating everyone.

Behind him stood a group of high-ranking Alliance experts led by King Wuan Lan Cang.

However, Bai Yuan and some other experts were not at the Alliance headquarters, as the Alliance branches and fortresses needed people to oversee them.

Dozens of Third Order experts stood solemnly behind them, their Auras merging into one; though not as vast as the incoming demonic might, they exuded a fierce, unyielding, and desperate spirit.

They were like a group of brave warriors, knowing full well that ahead lay a mountain of blades and a sea of fire, yet refusing to retreat.

Further back, the Alliance's Spiritual Energy Matrix was already operating at full power.

Streaks of energy patterns intertwined on the ground and in the air, like a huge and complex spider web.

These patterns shimmered with multicolored light, constructing layer upon layer of defensive barriers.

The entire headquarters, and even the surrounding satellite cities, had entered the highest state of combat readiness.

Citizens who received the news hid in their homes, closing doors and windows tightly, the atmosphere so oppressive it felt suffocating.

"He's here!"

Lan Cang spoke in a deep voice, his sharp gaze fixed on the horizon, a trace of gravity in his eyes.

In the distance, the sky suddenly darkened, as if splashed with thick ink, the once bright sky instantly turning as black as night.

The next moment, a dark golden meteor tore through the firmament, carrying a terrifying momentum that seemed to crush everything, and descended upon the sky above the Alliance headquarters!

Wherever the meteor passed, the air was violently compressed, emitting a sharp whistling sound.

Hum—!

An invisible pressure crashed down like a tsunami; the square ground trembled slightly, and the layered spiritual energy shields groaned under the strain, their light flickering violently as if on the verge of shattering at any moment.

Luo Xiu's figure clearly appeared before everyone's eyes.

Around him, a dark golden Aura, as tangible as a living thing, writhed, each movement seeming to contain immense power.

Luo Xiu's eyes were cold and indifferent, looking down at the Human Race experts arrayed below as if a deity gazing upon ants.

In his eyes, these Human Race experts were like lambs waiting to be slaughtered, powerless to resist.

The Four Great Demon Generals stood to his left and right, their demonic might awe-inspiring.

They exuded a strong scent of blood, as if they had just returned from a bloody massacre.

Their Auras clashed with those of the Human Race experts across the distance, stirring up ripples of energy.

These energy ripples spread outward like waves, uprooting stones and snapping trees wherever they passed.

"Dragon Xuanyuan, it seems I underestimated you."

Luo Xiu spoke, his voice calm yet thundering in everyone's ears, carrying a pressure that pierced straight to the Soul.

His voice seemed to come from the depths of Hell, cold and terrifying.

"In just two months, I never expected you to reach the Fourth Order Middle Stage, and with such a vast energy within you. Did you truly refine the Star Core only after reaching the Fourth Order?"

Though phrased as a question, Luo Xiu's tone was utterly certain, as if he had already seen through everything about Dragon Xuanyuan.

At these words, the crowd below stirred with commotion.

People whispered to each other, their faces filled with shock and confusion.

No one had expected Dragon Xuanyuan to reach the Fourth Order Middle Stage without anyone noticing.

After all, in the entire Human Alliance, only Bai Yuan had recently reached the Half-Step Fourth Order, while those who had reached the Third Order Peak were few and far between.

Though the gap between Third Order Peak and Fourth Order might seem narrow, everyone knew that the final steps were the hardest.

After the last Spiritual Qi Tide, the cultivation speed across the entire Alliance had slowed, with many stuck at Bottlenecks, unable to achieve a Breakthrough.

Dragon Xuanyuan slowly rose into the air, facing Luo Xiu from a distance.

His Aura was equally vast and profound, as heavy as the earth and as deep as the starry sky.

He steadily withstood Luo Xiu's pressure, like a solid fortress.

He exuded a righteous Aura, as if capable of dispelling all darkness.

"Luo Xiu, congratulations on your Breakthrough."

Dragon Xuanyuan's voice was steady and powerful, echoing in all directions, like a boulder dropped into a calm lake, stirring ripples.

"But this is not a place for you to cause trouble."

"Hmph."

Luo Xiu snorted coldly, the sound like a chilling wind in winter, making people shiver.

The surrounding space twisted as if kneaded by an invisible hand.

"Hand over Baili Ziyuan, and I might consider sparing you all. After all, the Universe is vast, and I still have much to explore."

His tone carried a hint of arrogance and disdain, as if the life and death of the Human Race were trivial matters to him.
