128: Chapter 128 The Gambler

Not long after, the man brought Qin Mo to a secluded hall.

The hall was packed, filled with the stench of smoke and alcohol.

At every table stood a slim, beautiful female dealer, surrounded by a group of Gamblers.

Most of these Gamblers were middle-aged men around forty, and the expression on everyone's face was surprisingly uniform: greed.

Everyone hoped to get rich overnight through gambling; some had lost everything, while others were drowning in debt.

In the few moments the three of them stood stunned, several Gamblers had already been thrown out of the casino for losing all their money.

"Gentlemen, please!"

Seeing the three of them stunned, the man said indifferently.

Since they had come here, he would not let the three of them leave until they had lost all their money.

After regaining their composure, the three said nothing and continued following the man toward a nearby table.

However, sparks of anger flared in their eyes.

They never expected that this club, which looked magnificent and high-end on the surface, was actually a secret casino!

The three forcibly suppressed their anger; they knew that if they wanted the Cleaner to appear, they would have to make a big scene.

For instance... winning all their money!

Soon, the three were brought to a square table, where three Gamblers were already waiting for them.

A beautiful female dealer stood to the side.

The man winked at the three Gamblers and said indifferently, "Play well!"

The three Gamblers glanced at Qin Mo, a trace of disdain flashing in their eyes.

Qin Mo could tell at a glance that these three Gamblers were casino employees.

Qin Shaojie hesitated for a moment, then leaned over and whispered into Qin Mo's ear, "Big Brother, what should we do? We came here to find the Cleaner; should we play now?"

Qin Mo whispered, "Did you notice? Since we walked in, dozens of people have been watching us. I don't know if they have firearms, so there is only one way right now."

"That is to win all their money!"

Qin Shaojie nodded upon hearing this.

The three of them took their seats at the table.

Qin Mo waved his hand and said indifferently, "Let's begin!"

At these words, the three Gamblers looked at Qin Mo in surprise, their eyes revealing a hint of delight; such compliant "fat sheep" were rarely seen.

They had expected to have to use some means to force them.

"Deal!"

One of the Gamblers shouted.

"Wait!"

Just as the Gambler finished speaking, Qin Mo interrupted.

At this, the three stared at Qin Mo, thinking he had changed his mind again.

"Kid, what's the meaning of this? You don't plan on playing?"

Qin Mo smiled indifferently.

"I have a habit: before playing anything, I like to settle the stakes first to avoid anyone welching on their debts."

The three were stunned upon hearing this and exchanged glances.

One of the Gamblers frowned and asked, "Kid, what do you mean? What kind of stakes?"

"It's very simple! If we win all your money, I should be allowed to take it with me, right?"

...

"Hahahaha..."

At these words, the three Gamblers burst into laughter, seemingly not believing for a second that Qin Mo could beat them.

"Kid, let alone you, even the God of Gamblers, Arnov, wouldn't dare claim he could beat the three of us. I don't know where you get the nerve."

Qin Mo wore a meaningful smile. "Maybe I'm different?"

"Fine!"

"Kid, as long as you can beat the three of us, you can take the money!"

Qin Mo nodded, and the dealer began to deal the cards.

There were six people in total, with a base bet of 100,000 each. In the first round, a Bald Man Gambler was the dealer.

After placing their base bets, Qin Shaojie and Ye folded without hesitation. They knew their limits; gambling was something for professionals, and clearly, they were not.

Facing their fold, a flash of disdain crossed the eyes of the three Gamblers; this was expected.

"Raise!"

Qin Mo did not check his cards at all and looked lazily at the Bald Man.

The Bald Man looked at Qin Mo with some surprise.

"Kid, aren't you going to look at your cards?"

Qin Mo spread his hands. "Sorry, the God of Wealth appeared in my dream and told me today is my lucky day, so no matter how I play, I'll win!"

The Bald Man sneered, "Did the God of Wealth tell you that you're fated to clash with me? Meeting me means you're destined to lose money."

As he spoke, the Bald Man threw in 200,000 in chips.

Another Bearded Man and the Long-haired Man immediately matched the 200,000. When it was Qin Mo's turn, all three looked at him.

Qin Mo looked at the three with disdain.

"Is that all you've got? A 200,000 raise? Who are you looking down on?"

With that, Qin Mo tossed in a 1,000,000 chip.

This action startled the three of them.

Where did this greenhorn come from? He didn't even look at his cards and tossed in a million? It looks like a huge "fat sheep"!

Thinking of this, the way the three looked at Qin Mo changed; he really was a rich fool...

Since it was the first round, the three had no intention of fighting Qin Mo to the bitter end; after seeing that their hands were unsatisfactory, they all chose to fold.

The corners of Qin Mo's mouth curled up slightly.

"Sigh... you don't even dare to call a mere million, yet you claim that even the God of Gamblers might not be able to beat you? How boring..."

As he spoke, Qin Mo flipped over his cards.

They were a 2, 3, and 5—arguably the lowest hand possible...

...

After the three clearly saw Qin Mo's hand, they nearly vomited blood in anger.

Damn it, you dared to bet a million with the smallest hand? Anyone who didn't know would've thought you had a set!

"Deal!"

The Bald Man glared at Qin Mo with a livid face, wishing he could tear him to shreds.

The dealer said nothing and continued with the second round.

Qin Shaojie and the other one placed their base bets and folded without even looking at their cards.

By now, the three realized that Qin Shaojie and the other one had no intention of playing at all; they were just there to accompany Qin Mo.

"What are you staring at? Place your base bets!"

Qin Mo looked at the Bald Man with an innocent expression.

The three exchanged glances; having learned their lesson, they were afraid of being bluffed by Qin Mo again, so they each tossed in 500,000 in chips.

Seeing this, Qin Mo knew the fish had taken the bait.

He then revealed a meaningful smile.

"Are we playing that big?"

The Bald Man looked at Qin Mo, his face full of smugness.

"Kid, do you dare to call?"

Qin Mo pretended to struggle for a moment, then, under the impatient gazes of the three, chose to...

Fold!

"Fuck!"

The Bald Man was so infuriated by Qin Mo that he nearly jumped to his feet, but the Long-haired Man immediately restrained him, fearing he would ruin the plan.

Looking at the Bald Man with blue veins bulging on his forehead, Qin Mo asked with a confused expression, "What's wrong? Can't you fold in this game?"

...

"Hahaha..."

"I'm dying of laughter!"

"Brother Mo is playing these three like monkeys!"

"Toying with them! Purely toying with them. What do you call this? This is called an IQ beatdown!"

"This magic attack is truly awesome; these three are probably going to have a stroke from anger."
