157: Chapter 157 Pirate Park

Everyone followed Eldest Brother Ji Bo deep into the heart of the dense jungle.

A massive, modern industrial complex came into view.

The outermost perimeter of the Compound was surrounded by barbed wire and sheet metal. Inside, various buildings stood densely packed, with a luxurious high-rise towering at the very center.

Qin Mo was stunned. He never would have imagined that this seemingly desolate island held such a secret.

They had essentially walked right into the enemy's lair...

This was truly like walking into a trap!

"Keep up!"

Growing impatient with the lagging group behind him, Polar North waved his hand dismissively.

As they passed through the enormous iron gate, Qin Mo immediately furrowed his brows.

A large number of people from various countries, both men and women, were gathered in the open area of the Compound. A rough estimate put their numbers at least in the hundreds.

Most of these people appeared listless and covered in wounds, as if they had suffered beatings and abuse.

"Ahhh!!!"

"I can't take it anymore! I won't be a test subject anymore! Screw you!"

At that moment, a man who appeared to be of European descent, a black man, began screaming and then frantically charged toward the barbed wire fence.

"Bang!"

Immediately after, the sound of a powerful gunshot rang out.

"Ah!!!"

The hundreds of people from various countries in the open area panicked, dropping to the ground and screaming.

The black man fell straight back, blood slowly seeping onto the ground beneath him.

"Phew~"

Polar North, standing beside Qin Mo, blew on the barrel of his gun and sneered, "Headshot!"

Killing didn't bring him any discomfort; for him, it was more like a form of enjoyment!

The group of New Recruits behind them had turned pale. They still weren't quite accustomed to the shock of witnessing murder.

Qin Mo watched all this with an expressionless face.

He knew this was the pirates' way of intimidating the New Recruits.

"Heh heh..."

Eldest Brother Ji Bo chuckled, then looked at his accomplice beside him, pointing at Ye and the other New Recruits.

"Lock them up for now!"

The accomplice nodded and then led several men in another direction.

Qin Mo silently memorized the route, waiting for an opportunity to rescue them.

"Little brother! What do you think of my Compound?"

Eldest Brother Ji Bo looked at Qin Mo and spoke calmly.

Qin Mo nodded.

"Eldest Brother, this is impressive! To establish a Compound in Dragon Country's waters and remain undetected... that's skill!"

"Hahaha..."

Eldest Brother Ji Bo burst into hearty laughter, seeming to greatly appreciate Qin Mo's praise.

"The reason Eldest Brother can build such a large estate here without Dragon Country finding out ultimately comes down to Dragon Country's powerful families!"

Polar North chimed in from the side.

Hearing this, Qin Mo immediately furrowed his brows.

"Eldest Brother, you mean you have people in Dragon Country?"

Eldest Brother Ji Bo nodded.

"Come! Let me show you Eldest Brother's business!"

With that, Eldest Brother Ji Bo took the lead, heading towards the most luxurious high-rise building within the estate.

Qin Mo frowned but followed with an impassive expression.

Sure enough, vermin exist everywhere!

...

Meanwhile, the members of the Wolf Regiment and Tiger Regiment had reached the outermost edge of the island.

The scene was a mass of dark uniforms, all military personnel.

A middle-aged man, after checking the satellite device in his hand, frowned deeply.

"The signals from the New Recruits and the others are gone. It seems something is blocking them!"

"What? Then are those recruits alive or dead right now?"

Another middle-aged man spoke up, his face equally grim.

This was their first mission. If it failed, it would be a disgrace!

The first middle-aged man shook his head. "Probably not. The last signal showed them heading into the interior of the forest. I think they're likely still alive."

"Then what are we all waiting for? We need to go rescue them immediately!"

A soldier said urgently, his face full of anxiety.

"Don't rush. We know nothing about the situation inside. Charging in recklessly now won't save anyone and might get us all killed, since our people aren't familiar with the terrain here."

"Then what do we do? Wait here until the enemy releases the hostages?"

The man lowered his head in thought for a moment, then said seriously, "First, send a few scouts to reconnoiter the terrain. The rest will wait here."

"Remember! Move quietly!"

"Yes, sir!"

Several scouts immediately got up and headed toward the forest.

...

Elsewhere.

Eldest Brother Ji Bo led Qin Mo into the luxurious high-rise building.

The level of luxury here was worlds apart from the rest of the Compound.

Crystal items were everywhere. The floors were covered in glossy, polished wood. The walls, the pillars, even the bathrooms were inlaid with gemstones. It was utterly, inhumanly extravagant!

"Daddy! You're back!"

Just then, a little boy as dark as charcoal ran over and threw himself into Eldest Brother Ji Bo's arms.

Following behind the little charcoal boy was a stunningly beautiful woman, roughly twenty years old.

The woman was scantily clad, wearing a bikini so short it couldn't be shorter, revealing slender, long legs and snowy-white peaks. Her appearance instantly drew the gazes of everyone present.

Eldest Brother Ji Bo looked at Qin Mo, then pointed at the bikini-clad woman. "This is your sister-in-law!"

Qin Mo, hearing this, immediately reacted and said respectfully, "Hello, sister-in-law."

The woman nodded, a faint, ambiguous smile playing on her lips.

"Not bad, young man. Quite handsome!"

Qin Mo nodded awkwardly, seemingly not expecting such a comment from his sister-in-law.

Then, the woman directly winked at Qin Mo.

Qin Mo broke out in a cold sweat.

He instinctively glanced at Eldest Brother Ji Bo. Seeing he hadn't noticed, Qin Mo let out a sigh of relief.

What the hell? What are you trying to pull? Are you actually hitting on me?

Qin Mo's subtle reaction was naturally seen by the woman, who then proceeded to wink at him repeatedly.

Qin Mo felt like this sister-in-law was going to give him a heart attack...

Is this woman just insatiable or what?

"Let me introduce you, this is my son."

Eldest Brother Ji Bo continued.

He then pointed at the little charcoal boy on the floor.

Qin Mo stared blankly at the charcoal-like child on the floor, then looked at his sister-in-law.

His brain short-circuited on the spot...

How the hell did two Asians give birth to a black child?

No wonder she started winking at me the moment we met. Who else would she cuckold if not you?

Qin Mo internally ranted, hesitated for a moment, but ultimately didn't say anything.

He simply nodded with an expressionless face.

...

After some small talk, Eldest Brother Ji Bo led Qin Mo upstairs.

As soon as the elevator doors opened, a wave of foul, bloody stench assaulted them.

The hallway, the elevator entrance, even the walls were stained with dried blood.

Qin Mo's face immediately changed.

Eldest Brother Ji Bo beside him seemed long accustomed to it.

Without changing his expression, he stepped out of the elevator and walked deeper into the hallway.

Qin Mo hesitated for a moment, then followed.
