165: Chapter 165 A Terrifying Moment
"Zhao Wu!"
A New Recruit shouted, immediately checking Zhao Wu's injuries.
Then, the New Recruit forcibly dragged him behind a nearby wall.
"Pfft!"
Zhao Wu spat out a mouthful of blood, and he instantly went limp.
"Zhao Wu! Hold on!" the New Recruit shouted in panic.
Then, he shouted at Qin Mo, "Brother Mo! Zhao Wu has been shot! The wound is in his lung, and he's hemorrhaging! What should we do?"
Damn it!
Qin Mo's face turned livid.
He never expected the enemy to learn from him and fire based on sound!
And by chance, the shot had struck Zhao Wu directly.
"Hold on!" Qin Mo roared coldly.
He then snatched an AK from a nearby New Recruit, holding one in each hand.
He fired relentlessly in the direction of Eldest Brother Ji Bo.
Under this dense barrage of fire, several of the enemies were instantly hit and fell to the ground.
The rest hid tightly behind a large rock, terrified that if they showed their heads, they would be killed instantly.
"Damn it!" Eldest Brother Ji Bo cursed, then immediately roared, "Counterattack! Kill them!"
However, no matter how loudly he shouted, his companions weren't fools; wouldn't counterattacking now just be suicide?
After all, Qin Mo's bullets didn't have eyes, and everyone was just working for money—why risk their lives?
Some didn't even bother to counterattack; they simply dropped their guns and ran.
"Come back! I'll kill anyone who dares to run!"
If Eldest Brother Ji Bo hadn't said anything, it might have been fine, but as soon as he spoke, his remaining accomplices bolted.
Eldest Brother Ji Bo trembled with rage, cursing incessantly, "Damn it! Get back here..."
Seeing this, Qin Mo felt a surge of joy.
"There are only a few of them left! Charge!"
With that, Qin Mo charged forward, AK in hand, and the New Recruits followed, yelling as they rushed in.
The fear in their eyes had vanished, replaced by pure excitement.
Eldest Brother Ji Bo and his men were already demoralized, and faced with the aggressive advance of Qin Mo's group, they were so terrified they couldn't even hold their weapons.
Some stood frozen in place, unable to fight back or flee.
"Bang! Bang! Bang!" ... A few more shots rang out, and the pirates were completely wiped out.
The ground was littered with corpses and soaked in blood, the air thick with a pungent, metallic stench.
Yet, Qin Mo's heart did not settle.
He realized that Eldest Brother Ji Bo was missing.
"Go after him! We have to catch him! This island isn't huge, but it's not small either; he must be nearby!"
"Yes!"
After this battle, everyone present trusted Qin Mo implicitly and scattered in all directions.
"Wow!!!!"
"So cool!"
"Streamer is so cool! Firing an AK with one hand, that's just too cool!"
"Streamer, I'm willing to use the highest form of praise a man can give! You're awesome!"
"Streamer just did something I can only dream of doing; I'm so damn envious!"
"Although that was cool, I'm not totally sold! Unless you let me fire a full magazine!"
"To the guy above, you're sounding a bit criminal! You're really looking at some jail time, aren't you?"
Qin Mo walked over to Zhao Wu with a grave expression.
"How are you holding up? Can you make it?"
"Yeah..."
Zhao Wu nodded, his face deathly pale; he had clearly lost too much blood.
The New Recruit beside him pressed down hard on his chest, attempting to apply basic first aid to stop the bleeding.
Qin Mo frowned.
At this rate, Zhao Wu wouldn't last much longer.
Although he possessed master-level medical skills, he had no supplies here and couldn't treat Zhao Wu.
Meanwhile, behind a wall, Eldest Brother Ji Bo glared at Qin Mo with venomous eyes.
He slowly raised his gun, aiming it at Qin Mo's forehead.
"Qin Mo! Go to hell!"
A roar echoed out.
Qin Mo instinctively turned around, meeting Eldest Brother Ji Bo's venomous gaze.
Qin Mo's pupils constricted.
Oh no! There's no dodging this!
"Bang!"
A loud gunshot rang out.
Eldest Brother Ji Bo collapsed with a thud.
Qin Mo's forehead was covered in cold sweat.
However, after a moment, he realized he hadn't been hit; instead, it was Eldest Brother Ji Bo who had fallen.
"What happened?" Qin Mo asked, looking puzzled.
"Qin Mo! Are you alright?"
Just then, an urgent female voice called out.
Qin Mo looked toward the voice and saw a swarm of Dragon Country soldiers rapidly approaching from the distance.
Leading them was Captain Ji, who was holding a sniper rifle.
Before he could react, the group of Dragon Country soldiers surrounded them, while the others took up defensive positions nearby.
"Are you okay? Did you get hurt?" Captain Ji asked again.
Qin Mo shook his head and said gratefully, "Thank you!"
It was clear that Captain Ji had shot and killed Eldest Brother Ji Bo the moment he pulled the trigger.
Otherwise, the one lying on the ground might have been him.
"You're a lucky kid!" the Wolf Team Leader said, walking over casually.
"It's a good thing it was Captain Ji. An eight-hundred-meter shot in the dark, one-shot, one-kill. Any later, and you'd be reporting to the King of Hell!"
Qin Mo nodded.
He had to admit, Captain Ji was truly impressive.
If not for the many skills he'd gained from the system, he wouldn't even be a match for her.
This made him curious about Captain Ji; what kind of person was she, and where had she learned all these skills?
"By the way! My name is Liao Yong! I'm the Wolf Team Leader! You can call me Captain Liao!"
Qin Mo nodded. "Nice to meet you, Captain Liao!"
"Excellent!" Captain Liao beamed. "How about it? Have you considered joining our Wolf Regiment? We've all heard about your exploits! You're a real talent!"
"This..."
Qin Mo didn't know how to respond and instinctively glanced at Captain Ji.
She was just standing to the side, looking indifferent.
Qin Mo was speechless.
Seriously? I'm your soldier! Someone is trying to poach me right in front of you, and you're not going to say anything?
"Liao Zi! What do you think you're doing? You're trying to poach anyone's soldiers now?"
Just then, an angry shout rang out.
Instructor Hu walked over with a dark expression.
Liao Yong frowned. "Tiger Black Face, this is Wolf Regiment business. What's it to you? I'll poach whoever I want!"
Instructor Hu gritted his teeth, his face dark.
"Qin Mo is my soldier! You're trying to poach my soldier right in front of me, and you don't think I have the right to say anything?"
"Oh? This..."
"He's your soldier..."
Captain Liao fell silent, instantly embarrassed.
So he had been trying to poach someone right in front of their commander!
No wonder...
"Ahem..."
"Did you all forget about me?"
A weak voice drifted over.
Everyone instinctively looked down to see Zhao Wu lying on the ground, trembling, barely clinging to life, looking as if he were on the verge of death.
