"Mianmian, stop teasing Shi Xu. Let's head upstairs quickly!"

Su Jinxuan walked a few steps, then realized Su Mianmian and Shi Xu hadn't followed. He turned back, pulled Su Mianmian along, and said helplessly.

Su Mianmian felt that what Su Jinxuan said made sense, and she really did follow him.

Shi Xu watched the backs of the two siblings from behind, momentarily unsure what to say.

He felt like he was being excluded by the two of them.

Upon returning home, Su Mianmian was enveloped by Mother Shi's immense enthusiasm.

Just as she finally managed to escape Mother Shi, she was called to the monitoring room by Xu Qing.

"Mianmian, in the two days you were gone, someone came to inquire about you."

"Do you know them?"

Xu Qing adjusted the monitoring screen to show the people who had inquired about Su Mianmian, signaling her to take a look.

As soon as Su Mianmian heard that someone had come to inquire about her, she guessed that those people must have been sent by Su Ran.

She bit her lip, feeling incredibly annoyed.

Why was Su Ran always trying to cause trouble for her?

She hadn't even had a chance to go looking for trouble with her, yet Su Ran was coming to her.

Su Mianmian looked up and casually glanced at the monitoring screen, discovering two familiar figures on it.

"When did they come?"

Upon hearing this, Xu Qing felt like he had discovered some small secrets.

"Mianmian, don't be too sad. If they dare to mess with you, we'll beat them up."

Xu Qing raised his hand and scratched the back of his head, looking embarrassed.

Su Mianmian, of course, knew what he was embarrassed about. She was already numb to such things; anyone could know.

Besides, how could just beating them up be enough?

Su Jinxuan was practically itching to kill Su Ran and that stepmother.

Thinking of this, Su Mianmian said she was going to find Su Jinxuan and turned to leave.

Xu Qing watched her hurried departure, feeling a little scared.

Soon after, Shi Xu came to ask him if anything had happened these past few days. Xu Qing told him about these events and Su Mianmian's reaction.

After he finished speaking, Xu Qing felt much better.

Shi Xu, however, felt nothing. He believed Su Mianmian was not an impulsive person.

Her rushing to find Su Jinxuan was probably just to tell him the news.

His expression was so calm upon hearing about this that Xu Qing couldn't help but ask, "Boss, aren't you worried about Mianmian and Su Jinxuan?"

Shi Xu shook his head. Why should he worry about them?

"You don't need to concern yourself with these matters; they will handle them themselves."

"Just keep a close eye on the surveillance. If those two people come, go tell Mianmian and the others."

"But remember to casually tell me as well."

Shi Xu said he wasn't worried about Su Mianmian and the others, but in reality, he still was.

When Xu Qing heard his last sentence, he knew that Shi Xu was actually uneasy about Su Mianmian and Su Jinxuan.

"Shi Xu, quickly come and persuade my brother. He wants to sneak into those two people's room tonight and kill that woman."

Su Mianmian said to Shi Xu with a helpless expression.

Su Mianmian had just been thinking about how to sneak out and call Shi Xu for help, and luckily, he arrived before she had to go look for him.
