36: Dragon egg?

Su Mianmian saw Shi Xu leave, and she followed him out a step later.

For some reason, Dragon Mountain greatly attracted her.

She was always someone who acted on her impulses, so after Butler Li arranged a car, she drove over.

By the time Su Mianmian arrived at Dragon Mountain, it was already past noon, around twelve o’clock.

She parked her car at the foot of the mountain and walked up.

This mountain was very tall, and it held many stories.

Su Mianmian hadn't looked into it much, but she knew that very few people dared to venture here.

She dared to go in, firstly because she had her spatial ability, and secondly because the mountain strongly drew her in.

The path ahead was easy, but further on, it was almost entirely overgrown with weeds.

Su Mianmian couldn't even see the path.

She took out a machete from her spatial ability and walked, cutting her way through.

Su Mianmian followed the direction in her heart, and after walking for an unknown period, she took out her phone to check it, only to find that it had lost signal.

She shook her head helplessly, hoping Shi Xu wouldn't call her.

She put down her phone and continued walking, covering almost two hours before finally arriving at the place her premonition had pointed to.

Before her was a cave, and Su Mianmian tightened her grip on the machete, slowly walking towards the entrance.

Reaching the entrance, she heard no movement, so she cautiously pushed aside the vines blocking the cave mouth.

Sunlight shone inside, and Su Mianmian saw what was within.

There were no large animals, and she breathed a sigh of relief.

But her grip on the machete remained tight.

Su Mianmian carefully walked inside, searching meticulously for a long time, only to find a few eggs.

She looked at the eggs before her with confusion; these eggs definitely weren't laid recently.

She saw that dust had accumulated all around them.

Su Mianmian couldn't make up her mind at once, but she also didn't want to just go back.

She walked up to the eggs, took out a flashlight, and shone it on them.

Su Mianmian discovered that there was actually something inside.

"So they're not dead eggs," Su Mianmian murmured to herself.

Since I'm already here, I might as well take them back!

Su Mianmian sighed, waved her hand, and collected all of them into her spatial ability.

Just as she was about to get up and leave, book book from inside her spatial ability let out a loud shout: "Master, how do we have dragon eggs in our spatial ability!"

Hearing this, Su Mianmian immediately flashed into her spatial ability.

"book book, what did you say?"

"The things I just put in are dragon eggs?"

"But aren't dragons already extinct?"

Su Mianmian looked at book book with confusion, even wondering if it was seeing things.

How could those be dragon eggs?

Although they were very large, but... weren't dragons already gone?

Su Mianmian became a little perplexed for a moment.

Seeing that Su Mianmian didn't believe what it said, book book suddenly became anxious.

"Master, they really are dragon eggs!"

"However, only one of them can hatch."

"The others are all nutrients for the one that can hatch."

book book said urgently.

It really wanted Su Mianmian to believe what it was saying.

Seeing how anxious it was, Su Mianmian actually believed it quite a bit.

"Then I'll just believe you for now!"

"How do I get it to hatch?"

Su Mianmian asked curiously.

Could it be that she had to act like a bird?

That wouldn't be good... "Just leave it in the spatial ability."

"If it weren't for you saving it, it wouldn't be able to hatch either."

"Where is there any spiritual energy outside!"

"If left outside, it wouldn't hatch in tens of millions of years."

book book's words answered Su Mianmian's confusion when she saw the dust on and around the eggs.

So it was because there was no spiritual energy outside, which was why they couldn't hatch.

After understanding, Su Mianmian finally knew what her premonition was about.

It turned out to be obtaining dragon eggs.

She shook her head helplessly, said goodbye to book book, and flashed out.

book book looked at the dragon eggs, feeling a little afraid in its heart.

It had always been a bit scared of powerful things.

Thinking that it was the second owner of the spatial ability, it was no longer so afraid.

It felt that it was just because they had just come in, and it wasn't used to it yet.

Over time, it would slowly get used to it.

It also wondered when they would be able to hatch.

book book looked at them, curiously pondering this question.

Su Mianmian, however, was unaware of book book's curiosity; she encountered a wild boar while descending the mountain.

She almost fell down.

This wild boar was too dishonorable, attacking her while she was rushing down the mountain and distracted.

How could Su Mianmian let it go? Since it provoked her, she would turn it into roasted braised pork when she got back!

She snorted coldly, looking at the wild boar that was glaring at her fiercely.

Su Mianmian initiated the attack first; she used the knowledge Xu Qing had taught her and jumped onto the wild boar's back.

The wild boar felt the weight on its back and wildly thrashed around.

Su Mianmian took advantage of its frenzy, put the machete into her spatial ability, took out a dagger, and stabbed it in the eye.

With one eye blinded, the wild boar ran even more wildly.

It charged recklessly, even nearly crashing into trees several times.

Su Mianmian calmed her racing heart, then took out the dagger again and stabbed its other eye.

After this, it became even more insane.

As the wild boar was about to crash into a tree, Su Mianmian steeled herself and jumped off.

Fortunately, there was a bush nearby; apart from a few scrapes, Su Mianmian was just a bit disheveled.

After the wild boar crashed into the tree trunk, it fell to the ground, unmoving.

Su Mianmian worried it was faking, so she threw several stones at it; seeing that it still had no reaction, she slowly approached it.

This wild boar was quite large, probably over a hundred catties.

Su Mianmian shook her hand; she had been gripping the wild boar's hide tightly, and her hand was a little twisted.

Without lingering, and worried that the smell of blood would attract other animals, she put the wild boar into her spatial ability and left directly.

Su Mianmian returned to her car, took out her phone, and found that it was out of battery and had automatically shut down.

She was a little worried, fearing that Shi Xu wouldn't be able to reach her and would be anxious.

Su Mianmian quickly plugged in the charger.

She prayed for it to turn on quickly.

Suddenly, the sound of a car came from behind; Su Mianmian turned her head and saw that it was Shi Xu's car, wasn't it?

He came?

Su Mianmian felt a bit nervous, unsure if it was because she worried he would be angry.

She was still worried when Shi Xu got out of his car and walked to her car door.

"Hi!"

"Shi Xu, you came here too!"

Su Mianmian saw Shi Xu open her car door and said ingratiatingly.

Shi Xu was exasperated by her words; he pulled her out with one hand.

"You're still smiling? Don't you know I'd be worried if I couldn't reach you?"

"What are you doing here?"

Shi Xu saw her covered in dirt, her clothes and pants full of weeds; he frowned, wondering what she had been doing.

If her mental state wasn't so good, he would have worried if she had suffered serious injuries.

He didn't know what to say to her, coming to such a dangerous place alone.

"Haha, I just felt like something here was attracting me, so I came."

"I didn't think much."

"I'm fine, aren't I?"

Su Mianmian didn't dare to tell Shi Xu about the wild boar; she worried he would scold her.

Hearing this, Shi Xu gave her a look that demanded an immediate explanation.

Su Mianmian told him about the dragon eggs, but she deliberately omitted what happened after she descended the mountain.

Seeing her avoid the important details, Shi Xu raised his hand and gave her a 'chestnut' (a light tap on the head).

"What's with the weeds on your body?"

"Don't tell me it's because you weren't watching where you were going and accidentally fell."

Shi Xu had a "I want to hear the truth" expression, and seeing him like this, Su Mianmian sighed, eventually telling him about the wild boar.
