94: They wanted to seize this building.

Mother Shi, seeing Su Mianmian's exhaustion, urged her to go back and rest.

Su Mianmian didn't refuse; she was indeed tired. She nodded and returned to her room.

Mother Shi looked at her weary back, her face filled with heartache.

Su Mianmian returned to her room, but instead of resting, she flashed into the space.

"Master, you're here!"

"How was it? Was the surgery successful?"

book book sensed Su Mianmian entering the space and asked excitedly.

Hearing its question, Su Mianmian shook her head and said helplessly, "With those virtual teachers teaching me, if the surgery wasn't successful then..."

book book fell silent upon hearing this.

It felt like Su Mianmian would scold it for this matter.

Back then, Su Mianmian was troubled by not knowing how to perform surgery, and to help her, book book found her several virtual teachers.

The year she spent studying, Su Mianmian's haggard appearance was something book book felt it would never forget.

Su Mianmian didn't scold it the first moment she finished her studies, and book book still wasn't used to it.

"Master, I was wrong. I won't dare to do it again."

"I didn't expect those teachers to be so..."

book book's branches drooped low, its tone full of apology.

Su Mianmian wasn't angry, however. If it weren't for book book helping her activate the learning mode and finding her several good teachers, how could she have successfully completed tonight's surgery?

Thinking of this, she walked over to book book and reached out to touch its trunk.

"I don't mean to blame you. On the contrary, I'm very grateful to you. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have been so successful."

"You'll have to keep helping me in the future, too."

Su Mianmian said to book book with a smile.

book book didn't expect such an outcome and immediately became excited.

After the excitement, a touch of embarrassment set in.

"Master, if it weren't for your hard work, you wouldn't have succeeded so quickly. You're truly amazing."

"You've graduated from them so fast."

book book said admiringly.

Su Mianmian smiled. Her purpose in coming in this time wasn't to chat about these things with book book. She thought that since she had already learned medicine, why not learn a bit more other knowledge?

Wielding weapons and such were the most needed skills at this time.

Su Mianmian asked book book to introduce her to some teachers in this field; she wanted to continue immersing herself in learning.

book book saw that she was getting addicted to simulations and couldn't help but shake its branches.

"Master, I'll introduce them to you right away."

book book found the talents Su Mianmian wanted in the simulation system, and the moment it confirmed, Su Mianmian was sucked into the training room.

Su Mianmian was no stranger to these situations. She began to survey the training area where she would soon spend a long time.

It was very large, and although it was just a simulation, everything was complete.

Whether it was a boxing room or a shooting range, everything was fully equipped.

Su Mianmian took a quick look and discovered there was even an armory.

Was this for practice?

Su Mianmian looked at the weapons inside and found that they were different from those outside.

She didn't know how powerful they were or what their differences were.

Su Mianmian didn't look for long before she was summoned by her "teacher."

When she arrived, the teacher began to impart knowledge and skills to her.

Su Mianmian initially learned boxing, fighting on her own.

Later, she began to learn guns, swords, and abilities.

book book even found her teachers for abilities.

Su Mianmian felt that the space's simulation system was truly amazing.

Why hadn't she discovered it before?

But it wasn't too late to discover it now.

Su Mianmian only studied for half a year before she went out for a while.

Half a year in the space was one day outside, and she wanted to go see how Ren Tingfeng was doing.

After half a year of study, Su Mianmian's abilities in all aspects had greatly improved.

Her fighting skills were much better.

If before it was just minor skirmishes, now she could probably fight a special forces soldier to a draw.

Su Mianmian felt that if she practiced a bit longer, she would become even more formidable.

"Mianmian, he had a slight fever in the middle of the night. We followed your instructions and gave him a physical cool-down. His temperature went back down, and he's not feverish anymore."

"Now we're just waiting for him to wake up."

Su Jinxuan and Shi Xu had been guarding Ren Tingfeng, splitting the time between them.

It just so happened that Ren Tingfeng developed a fever while Su Jinxuan was on guard, and he was busy alone for half a day.

Su Mianmian looked at his sleepy face and urged him to go rest, saying she would guard him.

Su Jinxuan yawned, nodded, and left.

Seeing him leave, Su Mianmian pushed open the door and entered Ren Tingfeng's room.

He had already been moved from the sterile operating room to a regular room.

Su Mianmian released her ability to examine his body and found that he was recovering very well.

The zombie virus in his blood was still present.

Su Mianmian breathed a sigh of relief. It seemed this antibody had always been in his body.

She didn't stay too long. After checking his body, she turned and left.

Su Mianmian arrived at Xu Huan and Xu You's lab. The door wasn't fully closed, and she heard noisy voices coming from inside.

She paused, guessing they were arguing because of differing opinions.

She reached out and knocked on the door. The inside fell silent for a moment, and soon after, footsteps sounded.

The door opened, and Xu Huan was excited to see Su Mianmian.

"Sister-in-law, come in quickly! Xu You just said there's no zombie virus in Ren Tingfeng's blood now, and I don't believe him."

"Do you know?"

"Does Ren Tingfeng's body still contain the zombie virus?"

Xu Huan asked Su Mianmian with a puzzled expression.

Xu You also looked bewildered. He had only been guessing, but as soon as Xu Huan heard his guess, he started arguing with him.

He was utterly helpless.

Su Mianmian looked at both of them, then nodded and said, "I just went to see him. There's still zombie virus in his body."

Upon hearing this, Xu Huan immediately gave Xu You a triumphant smile.

Xu You ignored him. He hadn't said that there was definitely no zombie virus in Ren Tingfeng's body.

"After he wakes up, you can take some of his blood and study it."

"I feel like the concentration of the zombie virus in his blood seems a bit higher now."

"I don't know what's going on."

Su Mianmian thought about this, feeling puzzled and a little confused.

Xu Huan and Xu You nodded. After Su Mianmian left, they went to Ren Tingfeng's room to wait for him to wake up.

Su Mianmian returned to her room, intending to rest, but Small Insect sent her an image.

She opened it curiously, and what greeted her was a plan to occupy their building.

The main characters were Su Ran and Yao Yin.

Su Mianmian was surprised. This Yao Yin had returned so quickly.

Hadn't he gone to collect supplies? Why was he back so soon?

Su Mianmian suppressed her confusion and continued to read.

"Ren Tingfeng is over there. If we confront him, we won't gain anything good."

Clearly, Yao Yin hadn't reached the point of being completely thoughtless.

Su Mianmian saw Su Ran roll her eyes upon hearing his words and couldn't help but chuckle.

This Su Ran had no brains, so why did she think others were as brainless as her?

She was curious to see what trick she would suggest to Yao Yin.

"Didn't you guys poison Ren Tingfeng with a slow-acting poison?"

"What threat is he? I think you're just scared!"

Su Ran looked at Yao Yin with disdain, as if she thought he was a coward.

Yao Yin had never been looked at like that before. He slapped Su Ran across the face.

Su Ran's face turned from the blow. She raised her hand to cover her face, her expression one of disbelief.

"You... you actually hit me?"

"How dare you hit me?"

Su Ran demanded loudly.

Yao Yin gave her a look to shut up. "Why I hit you, don't you know? Stop playing dumb here."

Su Ran suppressed her anger and turned her head away.
