187: Manifest the army and sweep away everything!

Countless intricate and profound golden Formation patterns materialized out of thin air on the ground in front of Mo Yan.

An ancient aura permeated from the Formation.

Everyone present, whether the terrified thugs or the survivors hiding in the distance, were stunned by this sudden anomaly.

“What… what is that?”

“Oh my god! What Rank of Lord is this?!”

Under everyone’s shocked gaze, a brilliant golden light erupted, so dazzling that everyone involuntarily closed their eyes.

Within the light, tall figures, as if crossing through space and time, condensed into form from nothingness.

First to appear were three hundred Soldiers, clad in standard dark blue iron armor and wielding heavy shields.

As soon as they appeared, they quickly marched in neat steps, forming an impenetrable steel defense line centered around Mo Yan.

Next were two hundred long-spear Soldiers, each holding a two-meter spear; they followed closely behind the Shield Soldier, extending their sharp spear tips through the gaps in the shields, forming a second defensive line, their chilling gleam sending shivers down one's spine.

Finally, one hundred Archers, carrying longbows on their backs, silently appeared at the rear of the Formation.

They swiftly occupied several higher shelves nearby, drew their bows, and aimed their icy arrowheads at every living creature in the venue that didn't belong to their faction.

In just over ten seconds, a well-equipped and well-trained army appeared out of nowhere before everyone's eyes.

The low-Ranked Professionals were completely dumbfounded; they collapsed to the ground, looking at the army before them, having lost even the courage to flee.

And this was not the end.

At the very front of the army Formation, light converged once more.

A figure slowly walked out.

As the light dissipated, a tall and graceful figure first entered everyone's sight.

She wore a plain white long dress, her silver-white hair cascading like moonlight down to her waist.

Her skin was fairer than snow, her brows and eyes were like a painting, and her pair of amber Phoenix eyes naturally carried three parts charm and seven parts aloofness, as if a single glance could steal one’s Divine Soul.

Hero, Bai Lingyue.

Following closely behind her was a round, black-and-white little fellow.

He was only as tall as Mo Yan's waist, holding a verdant bamboo, rubbing his eyes sleepily, his big, dark eyes filled with confusion.

Hero, Gun Gun.

As soon as Bai Lingyue appeared, she keenly sensed the strangeness of the surrounding environment.

The Spiritual Qi in the air here was so thin as to be almost nonexistent.

The strange-looking buildings around, and the oddly dressed, terrified Mortals, all made her feel intensely uncomfortable.

“Hmm?” Her beautiful brows furrowed slightly as she scanned her surroundings, finally landing on Mo Yan, “My Lord, where… where is this place? It’s not like a territory, nor is it a Secret Realm.”

Gun Gun also groggily lifted his head and asked in a milky voice: “Gulu? Mo Yan, there’s… no Spiritual Qi here.”

His small face was full of grievance, clearly very dissatisfied with this new environment.

Mo Yan looked at his two capable Heroes, and a smile finally appeared on his face.

“This is my homeland.”

“Its name is Blue Star.”

“Homeland? Blue Star?” A hint of surprise flashed in Bai Lingyue’s eyes.

She knew her Lord’s origin was mysterious, but she hadn’t expected him to come from such a strange world lacking Spiritual Qi.

Mo Yan then asked the most crucial question: “If I materialize you, will your main bodies in the Lord World disappear?”

Bai Lingyue shook her head, denying it:

“My Lord, there is no need to worry. We are ‘projections’ of your Lord’s authority; our main bodies remain in the territory, everything as usual.”

“Projections?” Mo Yan mused.

“Yes, using your Lord’s authority as a medium, our strength, memories, and even Divine Souls from the Lord World are perfectly replicated into this world.”

“Even if we die in battle in this realm, our Divine Souls annihilated, it will have no impact on our main bodies in the Lord World. As long as you wish, you can rematerialize us at any time.”

“We are pawns that will not truly die.”

Hearing this explanation, Mo Yan’s eyes deepened a few shades.

So this was the true meaning of “materialization.”

Not transfer, but replication.

It was a Heaven-Defying authority granted to Lords by the supreme rules of the Lord World.

They could continuously project their painstakingly cultivated armies and Heroes into the real world in the form of projections, and these projections were not afraid of sacrifice.

This rule was truly terrifying!

The long-standing question in Mo Yan’s mind resurfaced.

What kind of existence was the Lord World that created all of this?

What was its purpose in selecting humans to become Lords and granting them such terrifying abilities?

He felt as if he had caught a glimpse of the tip of an iceberg, and the vast shadow beneath the surface made his heart palpitate.

However, he quickly suppressed these chaotic thoughts.

Thinking more was useless; improving his strength was the fundamental way to deal with all unknowns.

Mo Yan pointed at the chaotic market and commanded Bai Lingyue: “Listen to my order.”

“Your subordinate is here.” Bai Lingyue bowed slightly.

“Lead all Soldiers to collect all valuable resources in this market. If you encounter resistance…” Mo Yan paused, his tone cold, “Show no mercy.”

“Yes, My Lord!” A sharp glint flashed in Bai Lingyue’s eyes.

She turned, her clear and majestic gaze sweeping over the six hundred Soldiers.

“Shield Soldier, advance outward, seal all entrances and exits, establish a defensive line!”

“Long-spear Soldiers, in pairs, follow the Shield Soldier, deal with any potential threats!”

“Archers, control the high ground, free fire on all targets!”

“The rest, starting from Baicaotang, search outwards in a fan shape, begin collecting supplies!”

“Action!”

“At your command!”

The six hundred Soldiers roared in unison, their voices shaking the surroundings.

The next second, the Shield Soldier, like a moving city wall, swiftly sealed off all the main passages of the entire market.

Those who still wanted to take advantage of the chaos to scavenge for supplies, upon seeing the impenetrable shield wall and the chilling spear tips glinting behind the shields, immediately felt their legs turn to jelly and obediently fled towards the exit.

The Archers were agile; with a few leaps, they ascended to the high advertising boards, drew their bows, and overlooked the entire scene.

The rest of the Soldiers, in small teams, began a carpet search of each shop.

Their movements were efficient and professional; anything valuable could not escape their eyes and was quickly sorted, then transported to Mo Yan’s front.

The entire process was orderly and incredibly efficient.

It formed a stark contrast to the chaotic scavenging of the previous Professionals.

This was the power of a regular army under a Lord.

Mo Yan turned his gaze to Gun Gun beside him.

The little fellow was holding a bamboo, curiously watching the Soldiers busy themselves.

Mo Yan smiled and stroked his fluffy head: “Gun Gun, your task is to stay by my side and protect my safety.”
