70: Full-line upgrade, crazy infrastructure under the power of money

Mo Yan opened the territory panel, his gaze sweeping over the rows of upgradable and constructible buildings.

He decided to upgrade the core buildings of the territory first.

Ice Crystal Cabin, wooden walls, simple wooden houses, Arrow Towers, Warehouses, Technology Research Institute, Butchering Platform...

He upgraded all LV2 buildings to LV3.

As he confirmed, a series of System prompts sounded.

"Prompt: Upgrading Ice Crystal Cabin..."

...

A series of System prompts rang in his ears.

Within the territory, faint glows and ethereal images began to appear on the original buildings.

Immediately after, Mo Yan turned his attention to other functional buildings.

Yu Shan Workshop, Spirit Fields, Medical Clinic, Tavern, Academy... These facilities, crucial for the territory's life and development, could not be neglected either.

"Upgrade all!"

"Prompt: Upgrading Spirit Fields..."

...

After upgrading the existing buildings, Mo Yan's gaze fell on the newly acquired blueprints.

He decided to build the Stable, while the Water Well and Textile Workshop were chosen to be built in the living area.

Finally, and most importantly, there was the Frost Arrow Tower blueprint!

This was a good item, with long range, elemental damage, and slow effects, making it a Sharp Weapon for defense at this stage.

Mo Yan carefully studied the terrain and defensive layout of the territory.

He decided to build six Frost Arrow Towers next to the Basic Arrow Towers, forming a high-low combination for complementary firepower.

At the same time, he would add one more on each side of the territory's main gate, in positions with clear visibility, to specifically protect the gate area.

"Prompt: Constructing Frost Arrow Tower x8, consuming wood x6000, stone x4800, iron ore x600, Elemental Stone x60."

"Construction remaining time: 1 hour 59 minutes 59 seconds / tower."

As Mo Yan's command was issued, ethereal images of buildings rose from the empty ground within the territory, shimmering with the light of construction.

Looking at the construction and upgrade progress bars of various buildings on the Lord interface, and the rapidly decreasing resource numbers, a hint of satisfaction appeared in his eyes.

This wave of upgrades and constructions consumed a huge amount.

However, he still had plenty of existing resources.

Gold: 11029

food: 29927

wood: 25800

Stone: 34886

iron ore: 9194

Elemental Stone: 2585

"The effect of the hoarding bonus is also showing; building consumption is reduced by 5%. Although it's not much, it adds up, and it will save a lot when upgrading to more Advanced buildings in the future."

"Next, it's just a matter of waiting for these buildings to be completed."

Mo Yan retracted his thoughts and no longer paid attention to the Lord interface.

His territory could be upgraded again this afternoon; this feeling of being ahead was truly good.

He opened the regional channel to see the reactions outside.

After the recent major battle, it must have attracted a lot of attention.

Dragon Country - Xu Chengzhou: "What's going on? That team of Eagle Country guys who were harassing near my territory suddenly went silent?"

Dragon Country - Lu Chuan: "It's the same here; a team of Japanese scoundrel scouts, sneaking around, were just being chased by my patrol, and now they're gone!"

Eagle Country - Smith: "@John, respond please, how are things on your side?"

Japan - Watanabe: "@Yamamoto, you idiot, answer! Didn't you say you could deal with that Dragon Country lord quickly? Why can't I reach you?!"

Japan - Tanaka: "Yamamoto's team... seems to be in trouble; all their communication signals have been cut off!"

Polar Bear Country - Ivan: "A team of over five hundred people, including powerful lords like John and Clive, how could they suddenly lose contact? Did they hit a brick wall?"

Kangaroo Country - Jack: "Brick wall? I think they hit a super-alloy steel plate! So many people just disappeared without a sound?"

Gaul Country - Pierre: "No wonder the Dragon Country people were so arrogant before; they had such a hidden card!"

Eagle Country - Smith: "We must re-evaluate the strength of the Dragon Country lord!"

Gaul Country - Louis: "They must have suffered heavy losses! This is a good opportunity for us to pick up the pieces!"

Eagle Country - Sarah: "Exactly! Let's go and kill him; all his resources will be ours!"

The channel was in chaos, with various speculations and inquiries emerging endlessly.

The lords from Eagle Country and Japan were the most anxious, frantically calling out John and Yamamoto's names, but all they received was dead silence.

Lords from other countries were deeply shocked by this terrifying battle record, and many began to feel lucky that they had not participated in this encirclement.

A coalition of over five hundred people, including several powerful lords, had completely lost contact in a short period—this was simply unbelievable!

This power was enough to easily destroy any one of them!

However, some audacious lords, who considered themselves strong, began to stir.

The enormous temptation of profit made them temporarily forget their fear, wanting to take advantage of the chaos.

Mo Yan watched these clowns with cold eyes.

Pick up the pieces?

Was his territory so easy to trespass?

The battlefield had been cleaned up, including bodies and equipment.

Nothing would be left except the scrap metal Gun Gun had gnawed on.

"It seems that killing the chicken to warn the monkeys just now didn't warn monkeys, but a bunch of brainless hyenas," a cold glint flashed in his eyes, filled with killing intent.

The deterrent effect was achieved, but it wasn't thorough enough.

There would always be those greedy fellows who, smelling blood, would want to rush in for a share.

It was perfect; his territory upgrade still needed more resources and experience.

If some blind fools really came knocking... he wouldn't mind a few more incomes.

They came all this way to deliver a package; it would be a waste not to accept it.

He closed the noisy regional channel; the outside storms were temporarily unrelated to him.

The wind and snow gradually lessened; it was almost noon.

At the edge of the battlefield, Bai Lingyue was directing the Soldiers to clean up the scene.

"Spiritual Moon."

Bai Lingyue turned around, saw Mo Yan, and smiled charmingly, "My Lord."

She suddenly extended her slender finger, touched Mo Yan's arm, and said lazily, "Are you missing your subordinate so soon?"

Mo Yan's arm muscles tensed slightly, then he casually pulled it back.

He was already used to Bai Lingyue's occasional small gestures; he calmly took out a small pouch from his talent space.

"Here are 100 Elemental Stones; keep them safe," Mo Yan handed the pouch to Bai Lingyue.

Bai Lingyue reached out and took it, her fingertips subtly brushing against Mo Yan's palm.

She weighed the pouch, feeling the pure energy fluctuations inside, and her smile deepened: "My Lord is truly generous; I can't help but want to..."

Mo Yan ignored her teasing and continued, "Ask me for more when you run out. Our current location is probably already exposed."

He paused, his gaze sharpening.

"Next, if any more blind scoundrels come knocking, show no mercy; slaughter them all for me!"

Bai Lingyue felt Mo Yan's killing intent, but instead of discomfort, a sadistic gleam appeared in her eyes.

She appreciated Mo Yan in this state.

It made her... itch with anticipation.

Bai Lingyue straightened her body, elegantly tidied the silver hair at her temples, and her voice returned to its cool tone: "Rest assured, My Lord."

"Your subordinate will ensure they come but never return, not even a bone shard will be left."
