Anya’s face, already pale, whitened further. "So, this isn’t just about winning this fight... it’s about survival for the next. And the one after that. This is our only chance at a fighting future."

"Exactly," Ciano affirmed, his eyes sweeping across his officers, hardening with grim resolve.
