Chapter 174: I HAVE THE WHEEL.
Anton then moved on to Richard’s doppelganger, a subtle cough clearing his throat, a calculated interruption that instantly halted the silent, simmering rivalry between the two powerful women. Krill Khians, not wanting her subtle assertion of dominance to be completely overshadowed, merely showed a reptilian smile. To human eyes, it would look eerily creepy, a baring of teeth that spoke of ancient predators. But to their culture, it was simply a sign of interest and a subtle display of female dominance among the Krill.
As she began to address Richard’s doppelganger, Anton interjected smoothly. "And now, Mr. Santamo, the rest of the companies and domains you will control, under the Seat of Circuit."
A collective murmur rippled around the table. The other Seats, their initial interest in the human’s ’immortality’ now eclipsed by the sheer scope of the power being granted, leaned forward, a mixture of curiosity and a subtle, assessing envy in their eyes. This new Seat was being given an unprecedented amount of influence.
NSA (National Security Agency)
Direct data harvesting from global telecom and online platforms. Prism, XKeyscore, and Boundless Informant programs.
In-Q-Tel (CIA’s venture arm)
Funds emerging tech: AI, surveillance, data-mining software, facial recognition—usually years before public adoption.
DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency)
Future tech seeding: brain-computer interfaces, AI swarms, autonomy, robotics.
Department of Homeland Security (DHS)
Interfaces with Silicon Valley to shape domestic surveillance and cybersecurity narratives.
Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI)
Integrates all intelligence agency access into a common grid.
????️ Controlled or Co-opted Tech Giants
These are the corporate proxies or partners the Seat of the Circuit manipulates, often indirectly.
Google (Alphabet)
Search, AI, location tracking (Android), YouTube for narrative shaping. Infiltrated via DARPA + DoD contracts.
Amazon (AWS)
Cloud infrastructure for the CIA (GovCloud), data lakes for DHS, DoD. Jeff Bezos tied to national security architecture.
Palantir Technologies
Co-founded with In-Q-Tel funding. Used by ICE, CIA, and military for predictive surveillance.
Microsoft
Enterprise systems provider for government contracts. Windows OS backdoors; Azure hosts classified cloud systems.
Social engineering platform. Psychological ops (psyops) testing ground. Worked with DARPA’s Lifelog predecessor.
Oracle
Big data tools and analytics back-end for defense & intelligence applications.
Raytheon / Booz Allen Hamilton
Contractors embedding private tech with military intelligence oversight. Often act as force multipliers.
Hard Control:
Direct backdoors in civilian tech (via NSA partnerships with Silicon Valley).
Monitoring ISPs and telecom carriers through AT&T Room 641A–style facilities.
Funding control via In-Q-Tel and DARPA for seed-stage emerging technologies.
Soft Control:
Regulatory pressure via FCC, FTC, and the FISA courts.
Cybersecurity fear narratives to push legislation (e.g., CISPA, PATRIOT Act).
Cultural manipulation via platform moderation policies (shadow banning, narrative shaping).
As the vast scope of his new domain settled on the doppelganger’s holographic display, even the Krill Khians seemed to pause, a flicker of something akin to awe in her glowing eyes. The sheer breadth of technological and informational control was staggering.
"This is... comprehensive," Richard’s doppelganger stated, a controlled, impressed tone in its voice, though internally, Lina’s processing power was working overtime to absorb every intricate detail of the newly revealed network. This is it, the doppelganger registered. The true nervous system of their global control.
Martin Rockwell, the Seat of Flame, grunted, a grudging respect in his voice. "The tech boys always were the quiet ones. Always knew you people held more cards than you let on." He didn’t sound happy, but he sounded impressed.
Ariana Moore, the Seat of Sight, simply stared at the blueprint, her earlier fascination with Richard now replaced by a chilling analytical gleam. The control of the very infrastructure of data flow... this man holds the keys to the digital kingdom. My own domain is powerful, but his... his is fundamental. She felt a renewed surge of competitive desire. He is not just handsome; he is the most powerful. He must be mine.
With the transfer of domains concluded, Krill Khians’ holographic form subtly brightened, taking center stage once more. "With all domains now solidified, it is imperative that we work together to achieve our overarching tasks," she commanded, her voice encompassing the entire chamber. "For the newly initiated Seats, understand the greater game at play. Each zone, and its council, all over the world, actively competes for control and influence over other zones."
She elaborated on the complex geopolitical machinations. "A zone can challenge another zone to change ideology, slowly adding its influence over time, until that ideology pervades and the zone is culturally subsumed. Another zone can challenge for complete control of human harvests and the assets of their Table, eliminating the opposing Seat and Apostle, with the outcome settled through military conflict or full-scale war. There are also economic invasions or trade wars; if a zone loses all of its strategic assets through such means, they will forfeit control of that zone."
Martin Rockwell, ever practical, interjected, "Lord Apostle, what about the regime change of a zone? Is that a viable tactic?"
Khians’ glowing eyes narrowed. "Regime change is only a tactic that can be employed by other zones, primarily as a means of decreasing monthly human harvest quotas until the instability is stabilized.
However, for us, each zone has a required quota to fulfill their service to God Krill Mainu. If a zone does not fulfill its quota for three consecutive months, all of its Apostles and the Table will be disbanded. A new bidding war would then commence, through human harvests, to determine how much one can offer to control that zone. History is replete with examples. We have seen zone wars from the Middle Ages, where each zone waged brutal conflicts against others for control."
She then highlighted a dark Chapter. "From the Great War to 1939, the Aryan Table, controlling Zone Germany, waged war on neighboring zones for control. Which, at 1945, the Aryan Table and its Apostle ultimately lost, resulting in their complete dissolution. Do note, new Seats, that all types of ongoing war can be joint efforts. Other zones may choose to support one side in exchange for a share of their monthly harvest, some of their assets, zone territories, and so on. Alliances between zones are common."
A murmur of unease rippled through the older Seats. This was dangerous territory. The stability they had cultivated was always fragile.
Khians’ voice dropped, becoming a low, urgent warning. "However, our zone, the USA, possesses one element that all other zones consistently overlook: our unparalleled economic advantage and technological superiority. This grants us major controls over some zones all over the world, enabling us to exert influence far beyond our immediate borders. And thus, the ultimate result of this is that zone alliances gather, complaining bitterly about our monopoly and our control. Which is why, to all Seats, I must remind you: we might have to face a number of zones challenging us into an all-out war. World War Three."
A palpable tension filled the chamber. Even Anton Rothschild straightened, his eyes fixed on Khians.
"But let me remind you," Khians continued, her voice firm, "nuclear weapons must not be used. Sometimes, a nuclear bomb might seem effective to gain an enemy’s surrender, ending the war in your favor early on before it could be flipped over you. However, we have learned that nuclear devastation obliterates the livelihood—the human harvest. So, it is banned, for the sake of our sustenance."
She paused, a calculating glint in her reptilian eyes. "But I have an idea to avoid an all-out war, and that is a global pandemic. A controlled biological event will force all zones to prevent widespread conflict for a definite amount of time, as well as inflict massive economic damage that they cannot easily recover from. Our zone, as the USA Table, is skilled in recovering economically fast to mount any defense on any zone buyouts on our companies, firms, and domains."
"Thus," Krill Khians concluded, her gaze sweeping over all the Seats, her tone commanding, "my task for all of you is to: orchestrate a global pandemic. We already possess a suitable pathogen. What you should do is orchestrate the blame on Zone China, meticulously controlling the narrative. Seat of Sight, Ariana, your role is paramount in this media orchestration. Anton, Seat of Coin, get ready for the financial defense and strategic maneuvers, though you will have to wait for China to stabilize their economy first to maximize the blame, thus breaking their alliances and connections with other zones. We all do not want an all-out war. Thus, I decree it to all of you: work together, and you can be sure, there’s a worthy reward waiting."
With a final, chilling reptilian smile, Krill Khians’ holographic form flickered, then disappeared, leaving the members of the Divine Concordance in silence, contemplating the horrifying scope of their next global orchestration. The doppelganger, its internal recorders now overflowing with critical data, remained impassive, its hidden true purpose unwavering.
