84: Chapter 84 Three jokes, three big bursts of laughter!

"Fine, since that's the case, they've definitely booked their spot for doing the dishes tonight."

Lin Chen gave a thumbs-up of victory to the "women's army" behind him.

He turned around to face the eight staff members, who were puffing out their cheeks and watching him with wary eyes. He channeled his Grandmaster-level Qi Cultivation, and in an instant, his voice switched to a comical broadcasting tone.

"Listen up, everyone. So, there was a scientist who was bored out of his mind, so he went to the Antarctic. He saw a huge flock of penguins on the ice sheet, so he walked over to strike up a conversation with the first penguin."

"The scientist asked it, 'Little guy, what do you do all day in this freezing weather?' The penguin rolled its eyes and said, 'Eat, sleep, and beat up Dou Dou.'"

As he spoke, Lin Chen used Ventriloquism to perfectly mimic the scientist's mature voice and the penguin's cheeky, bratty tone.

"The scientist found it novel, so he ran over to ask the second one. As it turned out, that penguin also flapped its wings and said, 'Eat, sleep, and beat up Dou Dou.'"

"He didn't give up. He asked dozens of penguins in a row, and the answer he got was exactly the same: Eat, sleep, and beat up Dou Dou."

"Finally, he bumped into a small penguin in a snow pit, so he hurriedly leaned in to ask, 'Little friend, what's on your daily schedule?'"

"The little penguin looked at him weakly and said, 'Eat, sleep.'"

"The scientist was stunned on the spot. Puzzled, he took off his glasses and questioned it, 'That's not right. How come you're different from them? Why aren't you going to beat up Dou Dou today?'"

Lin Chen paused for half a second here, keeping everyone on the edge of their seats, and then spat out the last few words in an extremely resentful, weak, and helpless high-pitched voice.

"The little penguin cried out, aggrieved, 'Because I'm fucking Dou Dou.'"

"Pfft—!"

"Cough, cough... Pfft!"

In an instant, it was as if a rainstorm had broken out in the spacious living room of the presidential suite.

The eight staff members holding water in their mouths were no exception; that mouthful of water hadn't stayed in their mouths for even half a second. The moment that profanity popped out, everyone sprayed.

Especially the four pairs sitting face-to-face; the spray collided in mid-air, directly soaking the other person's face.

The members of the Divas Hit the Road Group laughed until they were practically crowing.

Tong Liya, Guli Nazha, Liu Shishi, and Song Zuer didn't even care about their celebrity poise anymore; they collapsed onto the marble floor, clutching their stomachs and crying with laughter.

The lethality of this joke was truly terrifying for first-time listeners, and combined with Lin Chen's miraculous, ever-changing Ventriloquism, which brought each penguin's cheeky persona to life, the comedic effect was explosive.

Yet, amidst the roar of laughter that threatened to blow the roof off, the instigator, Lin Chen, stood there like an outsider, his expression as indifferent as a deadpan.

He really couldn't laugh at all; after all, it was a played-out joke from his past life, and he had long since become immune to it.

It was just like telling your friends at a party, "How many steps does it take to put an elephant in a fridge?" The people around you might be laughing until they can't breathe, but you'd only feel like you were watching a group of idiots.

However, what Lin Chen didn't know was that his cold, dead-fish-eye expression of "everyone is laughing but I am awake" became the biggest comedic highlight of the whole scene in the eyes of the millions of night owls in the livestream.

"Holy crap, Teacher Lin is definitely a devil. He makes people laugh like this, but what's up with that Yama face he's wearing himself?"

"I just love this punchable, straight-faced nonsense from Brother Lin. It's so vivid."

"Haha, the guy above is right. Don't you think Lin Chen's deadpan look right now is even funnier than that penguin?"

"'I'm fucking Dou Dou'—I can't take it, I'm going to laugh myself to death in this livestream tonight."

Everyone in the room massaged their stomachs for nearly two minutes before they finally calmed down. The women of the Divas Hit the Road Group, feeling playful, urged them from the floor.

"Don't rest yet! Hurry up and fill your water. We have to be the attackers again this time. This is too much fun!"

The few who originally had no hope for this silly game were now all having a blast, their eyes gleaming with excitement.

In contrast, the eight unlucky souls, including the Executive Director, were all miserable. They wiped their faces messily with wet towels and could only sit back down with water in their mouths, looking bitter.

"Hubby, keep using your ultimate move to blast them!"

"Brother Lin, don't hold back. Make them soak their underwear tonight!"

"Teacher Lin, increase the intensity! Don't be polite to these guys from the Production Team!"

Lin Chen shoved his hands into his pockets and scanned the eight sour faces on the bench.

Those eight people immediately shrank their necks in nervousness, their eyes refusing to meet Lin Chen's.

"Alright, let's continue. So, there was a guy who went to a class reunion. He got wasted at the table and was finally stuffed into a taxi."

"The car had barely driven two miles when this guy, slurring his words, started pouring his heart out to the taxi driver in front: 'Driver, isn't it strange? Why is it that whenever I drink a little cat piss, I can't control my lower body?'"

"The driver was also a man of the world. He chuckled and replied, 'Brother, men will be men. Getting drunk and fooling around is just a normal physiological phenomenon. I understand, I understand.'"

Lin Chen said this, intentionally letting his gaze scrape across the Executive Director's face, and then shouted with a tearful, hungover voice:

"It's not that, driver... You don't understand shit. I'm saying that I accidentally just pissed all over your leather seat."

"Pfft—!"

"Cough... Pfft!"

Without any suspense, another spectacular fountain erupted in the living room.

The eight staff members, who had finally managed to sit still, were wiped out once again. The large water spray flew around under the crystal chandelier, and even the cameraman standing on the periphery watching the fun didn't escape unscathed.

The entire presidential suite was filled with pig-slaughtering laughter, except for Lin Chen, who remained with his arms crossed, watching coldly from the sidelines.

This time, he couldn't even be bothered to make a strange expression. He just squinted, looking at his companions rolling around on the floor with the kind of benevolent gaze one reserves for children with special needs.

Honestly, he found it quite boring. These were old, tired jokes he had heard a million times, yet these guys could laugh until they practically puked up last night's dinner. This cross-dimensional sense of weirdness was indescribably awkward.

"Holy crap, I genuinely feel like this game has that Korean drama vibe now. Come, come, hurry up. Brother, I'll refill the director's cup myself."

Once everyone had laughed their fill, Lei Jiayin and Yue Yunpeng, the two clowns, actively grabbed the large water pitcher and, like servants tending to their masters, poured until all the staff's cups were overflowing.

Little Yue even pushed his luck, hooking his arm around a male cameraman's neck and smirking, "Are we brothers or not? If we're brothers, show some respect tonight and hold this whole cup in your mouth. Perform a big fountain for everyone."

The room was once again in chaos.

Once the eight unlucky souls had settled back down on the opposite side, covered in sweat, the countless titanium-alloy dog eyes in the livestream locked onto Lin Chen once again.

"So..."

Lin Chen had only just let out one word when the veins on the necks of the eight guys opposite him, cheeks puffed out, instantly bulged, and their eyes widened.

"So, there was a pretty girl who was lying on her desk at noon, and she asked her male deskmate, a bit shyly, 'Hey, is there anyone you secretly like?'"

"The boy was straightforward. He put down his pen and smiled, 'Yeah, I've had someone for a long time.'"

"When the girl heard this, her heart skipped a beat, and she felt incredibly disappointed. But she still forced herself to act like it was nothing and asked, 'Who? Someone from our class?'"

"The boy smirked and raised an eyebrow at her, 'Yeah, someone from our class. Take a guess.'"

"So, the girl went through the class roster and guessed the names of every female student in the room, but the boy just kept shaking his head."

"The girl got a bit anxious and pouted, shouting, 'I've finished the whole list, why are you still shaking your head like a bobblehead?'"

"The boy leaned over with a chuckle and patted her little head with his hand, 'Silly girl, are you sure you've named everyone in the room?'"

Lin Chen's voice suddenly became low and ambiguous at this point, making Liu Shishi and the others sitting on the floor feel their hearts skip a beat.

Just when everyone thought this was the setup for a romantic campus idol drama, Lin Chen pulled his voice back, leaned into the microphone, and muttered in a cheeky, eunuch-like tone:

"The boy leaned into his deskmate's ear and whispered, 'Little fool, actually, you didn't mention a single one of the boys' names in our class just now...'"

"Pfft—!"

"Cough, cough... Holy crap! Pfft!"

The women on the carpet were completely exhausted this time. Tong Liya and Guli Nazha collapsed into each other, their long legs flailing in the air.

This god-tier plot twist left the staff watching from the back also completely stunned.

The official livestream was filled with howls of laughter.

"Damn it, I even took off my pants and got my tears ready, and this is what you show me?"

"God damn it, there were still boys left! Teacher Lin's turn was so sharp, I almost threw out my back!"

"This is definitely a horror story. The male deskmate is the real boss."
