235: Let's move on to the next item starting from Chapter 232.

"Mr. Li, how are your preparations going? Have you decided who to choose as your target?"

Anya looked at Li Changsheng with a sweet smile.

Her attitude toward Li Changsheng was far better than toward the others; she had clearly received instructions from her boss.

Hearing this, Kanai Shuichi and Kenneth both looked at Li Changsheng with expressions of schadenfreude. Having passed their own assessments, their mindsets had improved considerably, and they were now fully in the mood to watch a show.

As for Zhang Zhao, he observed Li Changsheng with even greater curiosity. He really wanted to know what the skill level of this young man, who had stood beside Old Zhang back then, actually was.

Faced with Anya's inquiry, Li Changsheng acted as if he hadn't heard, fumbling around in his trouser pocket for a moment.

"Mr. Li?"

"Alright, that'll do. Let's go with this one."

As he spoke, Li Changsheng pointed at a middle-aged Caucasian man at the very back who was yawning and sporting some stubble.

"Mr. Li, this gentleman is an experienced veteran. His firearms skills are exceptionally proficient."

Anya looked surprised. She almost went as far as saying that this man was extremely skilled in the art of the 'American Iaijutsu'.

"Let's begin."

Despite saying that, Li Changsheng remained standing where he was, not moving an inch.

"Mr. Li, you are currently ten meters away. Please stand within five meters, I'm afraid..."

"Hurry up. Let's finish this quickly and start the next item."

These words left Anya speechless. Kanai Shuichi and the others also looked on with confusion.

Isn't this the same as seeking death?

"Young man, do you think I won't aim for your vitals?"

The white gunman sneered upon hearing this. He had been feeling drowsy, but now his sleepiness had completely vanished.

Arrogant! Too arrogant.

Li Changsheng said nothing, merely signaling Anya with his eyes.

Seeing this, Anya hesitated for a moment before stepping forward. She then waved her hand. "Begin."

The moment the word left her lips, everyone waited for about a second.

However, the two of them still stood in place. Yet, in the next second, Li Changsheng had already turned around.

"Let's start the next item."

The others were still somewhat confused by his words.

When they looked again, the middle-aged Caucasian man's body suddenly went limp. Like a kite with a severed string, he fell straight backward.

Thump!

After hitting the ground, the pistol he had just drawn from his waist slipped from his hand and clattered onto the floor.

"This..."

Witnessing this scene, not only Anya, Kanai Shuichi, and the others, but even the black and white operators watching from the side were left in a daze.

In roughly a single second, they hadn't even seen Li Changsheng move, and their combat-experienced comrade had already collapsed.

They couldn't even see any injuries on him; it looked as if he were just acting along and falling down.

Anya swallowed hard, her mind a complete jumble. After a moment's hesitation, she asked tremulously, "Mr... Mr. Li, what happened? Is this magic?"

"Just a coin." As he spoke, Li Changsheng casually tossed another coin in his hand. Once it landed in his palm, he flicked it with his finger, and the coin traced a curved path through the air.

Seeing this, Anya hurriedly caught it. She examined it closely; it was indeed just an ordinary coin, bearing the bust of George Washington.

"I used the coin to strike the nerve behind his ear, causing temporary compression and resulting in a coma. It's not magic; it's a technique."

Li Changsheng had originally wanted to use a strand of hair, but on second thought, hair was too soft. If it were a leaf, he might have some confidence.

This was the current level of Li Changsheng's hidden weapon techniques. He had indeed reached the Realm of Plucking Flowers and Flying Leaves. Combined with his research into the human body's meridians and acupoints, he could strike wherever he aimed. Even without killing, subduing an enemy momentarily with a hidden weapon was easily accomplished.

Of course, this was limited to such calm moments. In a life-or-death crisis, there would be no time to precisely target acupoints; a lethal blow would be far more direct and simple.

Since he intended to make a sufficiently shocking impression this time, Li Changsheng didn't mind showing off a few more methods.

"Incredible!" Although she understood the explanation, Anya was still profoundly shocked. Even if some of the mystery was gone, it was still a superlative skill.

She had actually watched America's Got Talent, where Shaolin monks from the Eastern land of Huaxia had performed the feat of breaking glass with a flying needle.

That had been shocking enough at the time, but it paled in comparison to this.

At this point, Kanai Shuichi had gradually come to terms with it, and a look of relief appeared on his face. In his view, this kind of technique was just a trick. When it came to actual combat and physical fitness, one couldn't get far relying solely on tricks.

Kenneth, on the other hand, gave Li Changsheng a friendly smile. To him, Li Changsheng was the same kind of person as himself—a talent who was extremely specialized in a certain field. It felt like he had found his own kind.

Only Zhang Zhao looked at Li Changsheng with a complex expression.

Anya then led the group out of the room and into an adjacent, very spacious room that resembled a large conference hall.

The tables and chairs here had been cleared away in advance.

Inside, there was a punch force tester, a laid-out running track, and a burly man wearing special Boxing gloves.

The burly man's gloves had some small patches attached to them, and there were similar small black stickers on his key vital areas, which seemed to contain some kind of instruments.

Beside the burly man was a computer, which provided real-time feedback on various data points.

"What does this mean?"

Seeing this, Kanai Shuichi felt relieved but also somewhat suspicious.

At least there would be no danger to his life.

"As you can see, this is the second test: to measure everyone's peak data in their areas of expertise.

We have a fifty-meter track, the most detailed punch force tester currently available, and a professional boxer from our club.

These correspond to the three categories of speed, power, and impact resistance. As before, you may choose any one according to your own situation."

What Anya was describing this time was more of a test of professional attributes.

Hearing this, Kenneth was the most excited. In his view, this was his home turf, and he could finally show off his skills.

In contrast, Kanai Shuichi's expression wasn't very good.

"Mr. Zhang Zhao also passed this test with excellent results. He tested in the power category. Mr. Zhang Zhao, could you provide a demonstration for everyone?"

Anya said this while looking at the silent Zhang Zhao.

Zhang Zhao said nothing and simply walked straight to the punch force tester.

He had been wearing gloves; now he took them off, revealing palms that were slightly larger than an average person's. His knuckles were very thick. Perhaps due to years of practicing Iron Sand Palm, his palms were actually quite fleshy and large.

Kanai Shuichi was very curious about what kind of score this Senior would achieve, but Li Changsheng had a rough idea; this guy's palm power was bound to be staggering.

One must know that for an Iron Sand Palm master, breaking bricks was child's play. There were even those who could crush river stones into powder.

Li Changsheng had seen an old photo of Old Master Gu breaking bricks; this could actually be found online.

In the photo, Old Master Gu was thin, weighing only about sixty or seventy kilograms. When his palm landed on a stack of over a dozen bricks, cracks spread from the top to the very bottom, and all of them split into several pieces.

If he were to strike a steel plate, he would likely leave a palm print with every hit.

Limited by the conditions of his time, Old Master Gu's body hadn't actually been that robust.

But the Zhang Zhao before him had thick knuckles and a solid build; he definitely had the physique of someone with 'the back of a tiger and the waist of a bear'.

Given that he also practiced several styles of Iron Sand Palm, Li Changsheng was equally looking forward to seeing what kind of effect he could produce. It would certainly be impressive.

The specifics would depend on whether his power delivery was fierce enough.
