113: Arrival on Orc Star

After walking through this area and a bit further, the smart robot led He Ming to Hangar No. 1.

The hatch opened automatically, revealing a triangular-shaped spacecraft.

"Sir, the Space-Time Bridge is already in the storage room."

He Ming didn't linger; he quickly stepped into the spacecraft, and the hatch closed silently.

The interior space of the spacecraft was not large, with just a storage room and a lounge; even the cockpit was omitted, relying purely on intelligent control.

"It really is small."

He Ming entered the lounge, where the furnishings consisted only of a bed, a bedside table, and a two-square-meter empty space with a meditation cushion on it.

This interstellar journey was, firstly, to accelerate his cultivation progress.

This was because he could draw upon more vast stellar energy in the universe.

Secondly, He Ming wanted to personally experience an interstellar journey, which had been his childhood dream.

The spacecraft was activated and slowly departed from the Pioneer Space Base.

He Ming looked at the external virtual projection screen on one side of the room; with a hum, the starlight was suddenly stretched infinitely, transforming into countless streams of light that converged into a circular passage.

External space.

The triangular spacecraft seemed to vanish into thin air, disappearing into the void.

Time passed, and a year and a half went by in a flash.

The spacecraft suddenly emerged from the void.

Directly below was a green celestial body ten times larger than Blue Star.

"Sir, we have arrived at Beastman Star."

"Activate stealth mode; we are expected to land at the designated location in ten minutes."

He Ming raised his wrist and looked at his new smart bracelet.

"life index: Tier 1 72%"

"Inner Universe: Tier 1 23%"

This smart bracelet was a strength measurement device He Ming had custom-made for himself.

One hundred thousand life index points constituted Tier 1, and one million points constituted Tier 2.

Tier 1 72% represented 720,000 life index points.

The realm division for the Inner Universe was ten light-years for Tier 1 and one hundred light-years for Tier 2.

Although his life index reached an astonishing 720,000 points, as long as he hadn't reached Tier 2, he still couldn't withstand a single shot from a regular Hai Star battleship.

The spacecraft entered stealth mode and silently landed in a desolate valley.

This valley was full of venomous insects, a deadly place avoided by both natives and Hai Star people, making it perfect for hiding the spacecraft.

As soon as the spacecraft landed, countless dense crawling insects, mainly myriapods and crustaceans, swarmed out from cracks in the rocks and ground.

Ten combat robots, wearing standard Star Sea work uniforms, quickly rushed out of the hatch; they wore special sunglasses and carried ultra-high temperature flamethrowers.

Blue-white tongues of flame swept across, and the venomous insects on the ground were vaporized into dried corpses by the extreme heat before even touching the flames.

Insects directly hit by the flames instantly turned into charcoal, which then crumbled into dust and dissipated into the air with a breeze.

He Ming stepped out of the cabin, wearing a brown cloak with an integrated hood that covered most of his face.

The moment his gaze swept over the insect swarm, a sense of oppression from a higher life form instantly descended; insects within a ten-meter radius immediately burst apart, turning into a cloud of blood mist.

The insect swarm, which had been fearless before, now retreated rapidly as if encountering a natural predator.

He Ming walked out of the valley, and with a thought, information about the surrounding tens of miles quickly appeared in his mind.

A small, seated motorcycle drove out from the belly of the ship and stopped a meter in front of He Ming.

"Go to Mining Area No. 07."

"Understood, sir."

The motorcycle's speed was not fast, carrying He Ming towards the southeast direction.

Although they were in a desolate Gobi desert, tall weeds and shrubs were visible everywhere along the way.

"If fields could be planted here, the harvest would surely be excellent."

Starlight emerged in He Ming's eyes; he noticed a lion-headed beastman a hundred kilometers away, who swung his giant hammer and smashed the head of a five-meter-long giant lizard into a pulp.

He then dragged the lizard by its tail towards the middle of the road, where a dilapidated, tractor-like vehicle was parked on the roadside.

"It really is quite primitive. If a heavy-duty composite brigade were brought here, they could directly rule this planet."

The motorcycle continued forward, stopping when it was still more than ten miles from the mining area.

He Ming got off the vehicle and chose to walk, his speed several times faster than the motorcycle; in less than a minute, he had already quietly arrived at the edge of the mining area.

The mining area presented a tiered, sunken structure, with large and small mine shafts resembling a honeycomb.

Many Minotaurs and Horse-people were seen pushing carts loaded with purple crystal ore out of the mine shafts, dumping the ore onto large conveyor belts, and then returning to the mining area with empty carts.

He Ming looked up at the silver high tower diagonally opposite, which was a defensive tower built by the Hai Star people in the mining area.

With a slight thought, information about the entire tower already appeared in his mind.

"Main Cannons: 5"

"Heavy Rapid-Fire Autocannons: 10"

"Hai Star People: 3"

In the monitoring room, a Hai Star person in a combat suit, whose face was unclear, was leaning back in a reclining chair, snoring loudly.

Inside a room in the tower, two Hai Star people were... making people.

The scene was exceptionally explosive; as for the specifics... it's better left unsaid.

He Ming walked directly towards the tower, his cloak gradually fading and slowly merging with the surrounding environment.

Suddenly, a sound of digging earth came from ten meters to his side.

He Ming's gaze swept over, and he immediately understood: a Mole-person was about to emerge from the ground.

The Mole-person revealed half of his head, looking at He Ming with vigilance, scrutinizing him up and down.

His nose twitched twice rapidly, and his wary gaze immediately relaxed.

He then moved his corpulent body to squeeze out of the narrow burrow, patted his backside a few times, and walked directly towards He Ming.

He Ming clearly saw the Mole-person in front of him: extremely ugly in appearance, covered in grey fur, with a pockmarked face, half of his right ear missing, and the edge still bearing unknown teeth marks.

"You're not a Hai Star old man; you actually have an invisibility cloak. This is a rare item."

He Ming frowned slightly: "You certainly have a unique appearance."

During his time on the spacecraft, He Ming had already fully learned the common language of Beastman Star, and could even speak with a bit of a dialect.

The Mole-person was stunned, pondered for two seconds in his mind, but still didn't understand the meaning of the sentence.

Could one's appearance be described as 'unique'?

"Your accent is quite authentic; you must be from the Revolutionary Army."

He Ming had a thought, and information about the Revolutionary Army appeared in his mind.

The so-called Revolutionary Army consisted of natives whose planets had been invaded by the Hai Star people and who were forced to flee; these individuals possessed some technology, more or less, and owned intergalactic spaceships.

Among these people, a very small number belonged to races with mysterious powers.

However, these individuals were helpless against the Hai Star people's technology and could only live in underground caves, like the Mole-person in front of him.

Because the Hai Star people would conduct large-scale purges from time to time, if they were found, there was absolutely no escape.

He Ming had no interest whatsoever in these groups who called themselves the Revolutionary Army.

With a thought, the recent sights and sounds experienced by this Mole-person appeared in his mind.

He was about to leave, but couldn't help but stop.

Because He Ming noticed that this Mole-person had recently met a Revolutionary Army member whose appearance was very much like an elf.

"I want to meet the Revolutionary Army. Can you lead the way for me?"
