117: Van Helsing's decision

Wind's Breath Grand Canyon.

In the great rift of the canyon lived a small branch of Minotaurs who had escaped from their tribe.

Because Minotaurs were exceptionally strong and durable, when the Hai Star people arrived on Beastman Star, their entire tribe suffered, being chained like dogs and sent to the mines, becoming the lowest class of mine slaves.

However, this branch was eventually discovered by the Hai Star people.

Two fully armed teams of Hai Star people, carrying rifles, herded the Minotaurs towards specialized transport vehicles.

They were crammed into the bulging cages like livestock.

"Captain, what should we do with this Elf?"

A Hai Star person wearing special battle armor revealed a lewd smile under his mask.

"An Elf, this is a rare species. Take her back first for the brothers to enjoy, and when we're tired of her, sell her at a high price to interstellar merchants."

"That's great, Captain! It's been a long time since I've touched an Elf race girl."

"Hahahaha..."

Fan Xi, bound tightly, looked at the group of Hai Star people laughing at her, her eyes filled with despair.

She could have hidden herself well, but she was betrayed by a Minotaur.

She couldn't understand why, when she had come to help them escape, these Minotaurs would choose to betray her?

Ironically, the Minotaur who betrayed Fan Xi did not receive the expected pardon; instead, he was shot in the head and executed on the spot.

The reason was that the Hai Star people hated betrayal, even from their adversaries.

Suddenly, among the escorting team, a young and strong Minotaur broke his shackles, let out a bellow, and gored a Hai Star person next to him, sending him flying.

He heavily struck his chest with his right hand and roared, "Minotaurs will never be slaves!"

At the same moment he finished speaking, countless rifles were aimed at him, and pale green particle beams riddled him like a sieve.

After witnessing the tragic state of their comrade, the group of Minotaurs who were originally stirring with rebellion had their fighting spirit completely crushed.

They understood one truth: in the face of absolute power, resistance was meaningless.

The transport vehicles, fully loaded with Minotaurs, slowly drove out of the canyon.

As they neared the exit, the leading vehicle was forced to stop.

"Captain, the exit is blocked by fallen rocks!"

In the co-pilot's seat of the armored vehicle, the Hai Star squad leader, who had been resting with his eyes closed, suddenly opened his eyes and looked ahead. Rocks of varying sizes completely blocked the exit, with the smallest one being over two meters tall.

"What's going on?"

"Not sure, this situation doesn't look man-made either."

In the back seat of the armored vehicle, although Fan Xi's eyes were covered, her perception abilities were extremely powerful, and she almost instinctively raised her head to look directly above the canyon.

This is?

In Fan Xi's vision, there was a figure like a blazing sun standing at the top of the canyon, looking down at the Hai Star convoy below.

Such a powerful aura!

Fan Xi's heart filled with joy, thinking it was reinforcements sent by the Revolutionary Army, but on second thought, she felt something was off.

Because this sense of oppression was too powerful, as if an unfathomable ocean had suddenly appeared overhead, pressing down so hard that people couldn't raise their heads.

At the top of the canyon.

He Ming looked down at the Hai Star convoy below and suddenly felt a sense of being watched.

Hmm?

"Was I discovered?"

With a thought, the omniscient notebook had already provided the answer.

He was indeed discovered, but not by the Hai Star people, but by the Elf race girl Fan Xi, who possessed strong perception.

"jarvis, can you block information within the canyon's range?"

"Sir, suppression complete."

He Ming chuckled, clenching his fists, feeling a bit of anticipation in his heart.

He had never fought anyone since he started cultivating, and he really wanted to know what level his current strength had reached. This group of Hai Star people would be perfect for practice.

"For the first battle, I'll start with you all."

As his voice fell, He Ming leaped, lightly landing on a naturally formed stone pillar at the bottom of the canyon.

"Who are you!"

The Hai Star people noticed He Ming's sudden appearance and all aimed their guns at him.

"I don't like being pointed at with guns."

Several particle beams struck He Ming, causing no damage, but leaving several bullet marks on the rock wall behind him.

"It's an afterimage!"

By the time the Hai Star people reacted, it was already too late.

In less than 0.1 seconds, He Ming completed twenty-seven kills, twisting off all the Hai Star people's heads.

On the transport vehicles behind, a group of Minotaurs poked their heads out, intending to see what was happening, but they were shocked to find that all the Hai Star people's heads were eerily spinning on their necks, then almost simultaneously falling to the ground.

The heads continued to spin on the ground like tops after falling.

Their Minotaur eyes, already as large as brass bells, now widened even further... He Ming's figure appeared in front of the armored vehicle and slowly opened the door. When he saw Fan Xi, his eyes immediately lit up.

"It really is an Elf, just a bit different from the ones in movies."

"It really makes one want to commit a crime."

He reached out and pulled off Fan Xi's blindfold, and incidentally untied her.

"Who are you!"

He Ming: "I am a human."

"Human?"

"What, don't I look like one?"

Fan Xi: "No, it's just... how could a human possess such immense power!"

"Well, now you've seen it."

"Come with me, I'll take you out of here."

Fan Xi did not resist and consciously got out of the car, but when she clearly saw the bloody and bizarre scene before her, she couldn't help but freeze in place.

The twenty-seven Hai Star people's heads were all spinning in place simultaneously, at an extremely fast speed, and the splashing blood splattered like a showerhead, staining a large area of the surrounding land crimson.

Although she had already sensed the general situation, seeing it with her own eyes still left her incredibly shocked.

Her heart felt extremely satisfied.

"This!"

He Ming: "From now on, you are mine."

Fan Xi did not refute; instead, a glimmer of hope rose in her heart.

"Okay, but I have one request."

He Ming raised an eyebrow slightly, a hint of admiration flashing in his eyes.

"Tell me."

"Help me kill all the Hai Star people, not a single one left!"

"No problem."

Fan Xi frowned, not reacting for a moment.

He agreed so easily?

"What, do you think I agreed too quickly, and my sincerity isn't enough?"

Fan Xi quickly shook her head: "No, it's just..."

He Ming took out a smart bracelet from his pocket and tossed it to Fan Xi, casually saying: "Don't find it strange. For interstellar thugs like the Hai Star people, it's not just your Elf race who wants them all dead."

Fan Xi took the smart bracelet and, without any hesitation, put it on her wrist.

"Let's go."

Fan Xi turned to look at the escort vehicles behind her.

"What about them?"

"You want to save them?"

As he said this, a faint smile appeared on He Ming's lips.

He had just asked the omniscient notebook, and Fan Xi was captured by the Hai Star people because she was betrayed by the Minotaurs.

If she expressed any desire to save the Minotaurs at this moment, He Ming would immediately classify her as a plaything.
