86: Dimensional ascension, the inner universe?

Deep in space, the main battlefield of the Dragon Country Corps.

The entry of three Fifth-Generation Mechas completely turned the tide of battle. The Hai Star side's Commander quickly responded by dispatching three entire Mecha Battalions to surround and intercept them.

Although Hai Star's technology was advanced, they lacked cultivators. The physical limit that a pilot could withstand directly determined the mecha's upper limit.

Only cultivators whose life index reached 50,000 points were capable of withstanding the immense pressure generated by Fifth-Generation Mechas during extreme maneuvers.

In fact, Hai Star's mecha formations were primarily unmanned, and the mechas that were truly piloted were mostly command-level units.

This was an advantage unique to Blue Star.

However, the disadvantage was also obvious: the disparity in fleet quality was too great. Even the strongest mecha absolutely could not withstand a direct bombardment from ship cannons.

The only reason the [Xuanwu · Modified] could withstand the Positron Cannon was due to a clever exploit.

"Sir, the Decapitation Plan has begun."

Inside the cockpit, He Ming used the third-person perspective provided by jarvis to watch three mechas ascend from the far rear of the Corps at extremely high speed.

"Give me Shui Meng's perspective."

"Understood, sir."

The main screen switched to Shui Meng's third-person perspective.

Behind her were two Fourth-Generation Mechas.

"Is there any movement from the Hai Star fleet?"

"Sir, the Hai Star fleet has not detected any anomalies."

He Ming's expression turned serious; the scope and events that Shui Meng's aura could influence had already far exceeded his estimates.

Under normal circumstances, even if most attention was focused on the main battlefield, the Dragon Country Corps had a mecha formation comprising a full 20,000 units, which absolutely should not have been overlooked by the Hai Star command system.

The reality was that the Dragon Country Corps was less than five minutes of travel away from directly engaging the Hai Star fleet, and only at such a dangerous proximity were they discovered and countered.

If something like this occurred, the personnel responsible for the radar early warning and monitoring system would absolutely be executed after the war.

Even so, if the Hai Star fleet launched a clustered strike right now, the Dragon Country Corps would still have no means of resistance.

Yet, they inexplicably chose close-quarters combat.

Seemingly dismissive, but actually brainless.

This was inherently illogical.

"This is only within the game. If it were reality, the influence would likely be even more preposterous."

"Sir, based on the existing data regarding Shui Meng, the probability reaches 100%."

He Ming raised an eyebrow slightly; this was the first time he had ever heard jarvis deliver a 100% conclusion.

The operational authority of the [Kunpeng] had been completely handed over to Bai Ze.

In the field of artificial intelligence, Hai Star was similarly the side being completely overwhelmed.

If both sides consisted of unmanned forces, under conditions of equal combat power, the loss ratio could reach at least 1:5.

With Bai Ze's supercomputing in the combat domain, it could completely command the entire situation, eliminating the need for so-called pilots.

However, to achieve victory, pilots were still indispensable.

The Decapitation Plan required powerful cultivators; mechas, to a certain extent, were merely tools for transporting humanoid Gundams.

He Ming shifted his attention to the main control screen. The three mechas had effortlessly invaded the interior of the Hai Star Mothership, adjudicator.

Although jarvis had tampered with the friend-or-foe identification signals, causing the markers for Shui Meng and the other two Dragon Country Commanders to display as Hai Star units, the process was still absurdly smooth.

Qin Weiguo and Fang Wanli exited their cockpits and headed straight for the bridge of adjudicator, smashing through doors and tearing through walls along the way.

Fang Wanli's life index had reached 35,000 points, and Qin Weiguo's was 32,000 points.

Enhanced by nano full-coverage armor, the Hai Star inhabitants simply could not stop these two humanoid Gundams.

As a large number of escape vessels launched from adjudicator, the internal self-destruct sequence automatically activated.

Upon seeing this, He Ming became slightly more serious.

He wanted to see if Shui Meng could survive under these circumstances.

Although Qin Weiguo and Fang Wanli attempted to escape at maximum speed, they were ultimately a fraction too slow, and Shui Meng was consumed entirely by the explosion's flames along with them.

The moment Shui Meng left the battlefield, He Ming immediately sensed that something was wrong.

The combat power of the Hai Star mechas suddenly jumped up a notch, and the speed of the unmanned drone swarm also increased, as if the invisible hand restraining the Hai Star fleet had finally released its grip the moment Shui Meng died.

Deep in space, nearly a hundred ship cannons fired indiscriminately, bombarding the location of the Dragon Country Corps.

The scene was too shocking, as if completely swallowed by light. Even the [Kunpeng], which was renowned for its speed, had no time to evade.

The ship cannons fired only a single volley, and hundreds of thousands of combat units were completely annihilated, leaving not a single trace of their former existence.

He Ming was resurrected aboard the Blue Star Mothership.

Having obtained the answer he sought, he immediately chose to exit the game.

Climbing out of bed, He Ming accepted the omniscient notebook handed to him by the intelligent robot and sat down at his desk.

His eyes gradually glazed over as he pondered how to resolve the confusion in his heart while avoiding attracting the special attention of *that kind* of existence.

Shui Meng's existence made He Ming feel extremely uneasy; this sensation even surpassed the threat posed by the Hai Star fleet.

After all, there were still more than four years before the Hai Star fleet descended upon Blue Star, and he was confident he could use the notebook's ability to forge a Blue Star force capable of resisting the Hai Star fleet.

Shui Meng's ability, which resembled a protagonist's halo, was too terrifying. He Ming speculated she was highly likely an experienced family member or inheritor sent to Blue Star by a powerful entity of a high life level... After pondering for a moment, He Ming finally began to write.

[Is there a way to bind you more deeply, provided I can easily do it without any side effects or hidden dangers? Give me the optimal solution. If this question will attract the attention of any existence, please do not answer.]

After writing this passage, He Ming's heart rate involuntarily sped up.

Since obtaining the omniscient notebook and mastering the truth of knowing everything, he had not experienced this feeling of an accelerated heartbeat in a long time.

The moment the text vanished and the answer appeared, He Ming finally let out a long sigh of relief.

As long as a solution existed, that was enough.

[Soul Contract: Requires life index to reach 100,000 points, causing oneself to ascend dimensions, and opening up an Inner Universe within the body...]

Ascend dimensions?

Inner Universe!

He Ming could understand these two terms.

However, the meaning represented by the words themselves had completely redefined the scope of his understanding.

It was like a door leading to a brand new world.

[If I use you within this Inner Universe to ask questions involving a certain existence, will I attract extra attention?]

[No]

Upon seeing the answer, a sharp light flashed in He Ming's eyes.

This Inner Universe appeared to be the ultimate safe haven, capable of isolating all external information!

Previously, He Ming had not dared to ask questions involving the mysteries of the universe, precisely because he feared attracting the indirect attention of some existence beyond his comprehension.

If he could successfully open up an Inner Universe, there would be no further worries about using the notebook inside it.

The notebook's capabilities would also be magnified without limit!

[What is ascending dimensions? If the answer to this question will attract attention, please do not answer.]

[To create an Inner Universe, and allow oneself to become the Heavenly Dao.]

The moment he saw this line of text, He Ming's expression froze, and his eyebrows slowly furrowed together.

This was yet another answer whose literal meaning he could understand, but whose true implication he could not grasp.
