32: Chapter 32 Gu's Mother is Critically Ill
No matter what Gu Yanchen said, Su Yue simply would not agree, unless she went along with him.
Just as the two were at a stalemate, Lin Xi's weak voice came through the phone.
"Su Yue, I'm fine. It was Liu Xiu who saved me and Mom, so don't worry."
Su Yue felt that her voice sounded a bit off, and her eyes were full of worry: "Lin Xi, are you really okay?"
"I'm really fine."
"Then why does your voice sound so weak?"

Su Yue and Gu Yanchen no longer had the heart for romance and hurried downstairs.
"Mom, how are you? Don't scare me!"

Carrying Mother Gu to the Hospital on his back definitely wouldn't work. Taking the RV would make them too big a target, so they could only take a sedan.
"Gu Yanchen, we'll drive there."

Disregarding his objections, Su Yue grabbed the keys from her bag and ran off.
Gu Yanchen had no choice but to carry his mother on his back and follow behind.
Su Yue chose a sturdy sedan and went to the RV to grab two guns, giving one to Gu Yanchen and keeping one for herself.
Gu Yanchen glanced at the gun and realized it was real. Countless questions bubbled up in his mind, but now was not the time to resolve them.
"A-Yan, we'll leave through the back door; the main gate isn't safe."
Gu Yanchen nodded: "Okay."
When they were almost at the back door, Su Yue had him stop the car and called Uncle Butler.
"Uncle Butler, please check the surveillance monitors now. How many zombies are at the back door? Can we get out?"
