104: Chapter 104 The Great Qin Fire Dragon Guard, Level 2 General's Mansion!

[Steel - 100 units, Copper Ore - 50 units]

[Level 4 Imperial Armor Camp upgrading...]

Mechanical transformation sounds rang out, and the Imperial Armor Camp changed rapidly under the guidance of the blueprint.

The surrounding structure became increasingly complex and precise, and the original profound iron-colored exterior gradually brightened.

"Hiss ——————"

Accompanied by a burst of sound, thick white steam and black smoke spewed out together; this was the hallmark of hybrid power.

At the Level 4 lords residence stage, almost all devices utilized hybrid power.

That is to say, steam drive was responsible for routine actions, such as walking and daily operation.

Fuel drive was used for emergency consumption, accelerating construction, or rapid advancement.

The transformation sounds stopped, and the brand-new Level 4 Imperial Armor Camp appeared before Su Yang.

With a flicker of his mind, he opened the Imperial Armor Camp panel.

Unexpectedly, none of the Imperial Armor units showed they could be upgraded.

Combining this with previous experience, it was likely due to the lack of fuel resources.

However, although other units were not yet unlocked for upgrades, the Fire Dragon Guard that came with the Level 4 Imperial Armor Camp could be summoned directly.

What was most lacking for countering that fourth-generation Bug Swarm Tide was the Fire Dragon Guards' close-range, large-area combat power.

Without hesitation, Su Yang directly invested command points to summon four Fire Dragon Guards.

[command points - 16800]

[Summoning Great Qin Fire Dragon Guard...]

The original consumption of 24000 points was reduced by 7200 command points directly because of the military power BUFF.

"Hiss —"

Black and white intertwined smoke spewed out, and the gate of the Imperial Armor Camp slowly opened.

Four super-heavy mechs with a visual style similar to the Skyfire Guard appeared in the smoke!

Great Qin Fire Dragon Guard

They were also heavy mechs controlled by soldiers, but the difference was that their cannon barrels were not on their backs, but on their arms.

The mech's thick forearms were modified into two heavy flamethrowers, with muzzle diameters the size of a basketball, and a circle of combustion devices surrounding the barrel.

On the left and right sides of the back were fuel storage tanks, with oil pipelines and pressurization devices connected in the middle.

By adjusting the pressurization device, the fuel injection distance could be adjusted, with a staggering range of up to 200 meters.

No wonder they were called Fire Dragon Guard; what they sprayed was basically a fire dragon.

Su Yang's eyes flickered, as if he had already seen the fire dragon spewing out.

With the Fire Dragon Guard, there was absolutely no need to worry about the bug sea offensive of the Iron-Eater Bug anymore!

The Skyfire Guard was responsible for long-range bombardment, the Fire Dragon Guard was responsible for countering the dense close-combat bug sea, and the Imperial Armor Troops were responsible for sending the units that survived the two attacks to the afterlife.

After summoning the Fire Dragon Guard, Su Yang opened the Generals Mansion panel again.

Level 2 Generals Mansion allowed General Li Xin to upgrade.

[Generals Mansion]

[General: General Li Xin]

[Rank: Level 1 >>> Level 2]

[Effect]

[Skill: Command Vanguard: Increase morale by 20% >>> Increase morale by 30%]

[Strategy: Power Over the World: command points gained from battle increased by 20% >>> 30%]

[command points: 15000 points]

[Required Generals Mansion Rank: Level 2]

Upgrading General Li Xin could not only improve skills but also increase the strategy bonus to 30%.

The earlier this effect was upgraded, the more benefits would be obtained.

Su Yang's mind flickered, and he invested command points to start the upgrade.

[command points - 10500 points]

[General Li Xin upgrading...]

[General Li Xin fights across the four seas, his ability to command troops has been improved, Command Vanguard upgrading...]

Entries flashed by, and General Li Xin finished upgrading quickly.

Su Yang nodded with satisfaction; now that all upgrades were complete, it was time to set off.

Last night, the Scout troops had already scouted the bug nest's location, and detailed reports had been made.

It was basically the same as he had guessed: this was a fourth-generation Bug Swarm Tide, and the bug nest scale was huge, far exceeding the normal range.

This information excited him; the larger the bug nest, the more Xenomorphs there were, and the more Xenomorphs there were, the more fuel and command points there would be!

Without further hesitation, Su Yang directly called for General Li Xin and let him lead the troops to set off.

Although the Heavy Equipment Battalion was not yet unlocked, the time would be about right by the time General Li Xin and the others arrived.

Now, he had to seize the opportunity; taking advantage of the fact that the Insect Swarm had been defeated and had not yet recovered its vitality, he would directly destroy their lair!

Soon, General Li Xin gathered 30 Armored Elite Soldiers and 20 Armored Crossbowmen, plus two Skyfire Guards and four Fire Dragon Guards, assembling at the city gate.

After being reviewed by Su Yang, the team marched directly to the north.

General Meng Tian was not sent because he had exhausted his fuel in the battle last night.

However, General Meng Tian could only exert his maximum advantage within the territory.

Because of the passive effect of the Great Wall Guardian, Su Yang directly handed over all the tasks of territory expansion and planning to General Meng Tian.

With his years of guarding the frontier and his commanding ability and defensive experience in overseeing the construction of the Great Wall, such a task was a piece of cake.

After receiving the order, General Meng Tian immediately led a group of soldiers to start exploration and research around the city wall.

With all tasks assigned, Su Yang returned to the lords residence with peace of mind to view the first-person perspective of General Li Xin's crusade.

After gaining the shared vision of the Insect Swarm, he had a feeling of being on the battlefield himself every time they fought.

Every time he entered General Li Xin's perspective and shuttled through the Insect Swarm to kill, Su Yang would have the illusion that he was a peerless expert—or perhaps it was not an illusion?

Stepping out of the territory, there was no intact Crystal Spore Dense Forest nearby; it had all been blown into scorched earth by the Skyfire Guard.

And on the scorched earth closest to the territory, the collected Xenomorph corpses had already piled up into a small mountain.

The process of collecting corpses was extremely cumbersome and very energy-consuming, especially with this kind of scattered attacking Bug Swarm Tide.

Last night, General Li Xin and General Meng Tian led troops to collect them all night, spending a lot of time and energy.

And Su Yang, because he was thinking about this, tossed and turned for 30 seconds before being able to fall asleep.

While lamenting the difficulty, Su Yang suddenly thought of a big problem.

Collecting corpses around the territory was so laborious, so what should be done about the corpses from the crusade?

It was absolutely impossible to rely on soldiers to carry them back one by one; transport vehicles had to be unlocked.

But the loading capacity of transport vehicles in the early stage must also be limited, and it could not transport so many things at once.

Going back and forth repeatedly would definitely consume a lot of time, and it would also consume a lot of fuel.

"Should he just give it up?"

Su Yang felt a bit distressed; things were just getting started, and it would be a pity to give up such a large batch of energy.

However, he suddenly remembered.

Ordinary transport vehicles certainly could not transport so many things, but this was a Great Qin transport vehicle.

If nothing went wrong, it would definitely be unexpected!
