61: Chapter 61 One Shot Clears the Field

In the high-level conference room of the Dragon Kingdom.

Seeing the explosive shell split and land on the big screen, all the experts and officers on site were stunned and speechless.

After a brief silence, huge cheers erupted in the conference room.

"This power! This power!!"

"This is something that can be manufactured just after unlocking gunpowder technology!?"

"Is the very center of the scorched earth area the insect nest? It hit the target perfectly in one shot!!"

"Hitting the target dead-on from a distance of nearly 5,000 meters, I really don't know how this precision was achieved!!!"

"What's even more terrifying is the power of this shell, a destructive strike in a nearly 50-meter area, completely scorching the earth, not to mention the shockwave and fragmentation kill range!!"

"Too terrifying, this explosive yield is definitely at the level of a ton-class aerial bomb!!"

"It's definitely more than a ton-class aerial bomb!! Our ton-class aerial bombs can only create craters of about 15 meters. Excluding soil differences, this yield is probably over 10 tons!!"

"Damn it, the last time we chose the Western Jin Dynasty, they were still sending workers to mine coal, and the Qin Dynasty already has ton-class artillery units!!"

"What exactly is going on with this Qin, is it really an alien civilization!!"

The cheers of the officers and experts rose one after another, creating a chaotic scene.

Only the General of the Military Department remained firmly seated in his chair.

He gazed at the big screen, constantly sighing with emotion.

"National Heavy Weaponry, truly National Heavy Weaponry. If we had this kind of technology in the first two rounds, we wouldn't be in our current predicament..."

Even the officers' conference room was in chaos, let alone the live broadcast room.

The barrage on the big screen was already flying, completely blocking the host.

"Ahhhhh, so strong I'm screaming!!"

"Too handsome, it directly overturned the Tyranid nest!!"

"This isn't bombing the Tyranids, this is bombing my heart, man!!"

"You're telling me this is an ancient civilization? How does it feel like the technology has already surpassed modern civilization!"

"Really want to know what other countries are doing now. If they saw this scene, they would definitely be stunned!!"

"If this shot were placed in the Little Japan territory, I really don't know how satisfying it would be!!"

"Ah, I can't take it, one more shot, please, give me one more shot!!"

[Killed 3rd Rank Tyranid Stinger, command points + 40 (40% bonus)]

The panel was instantly filled with kill notifications, and the light of the explosion flickered in Su Yang's eyes.

Damn, such terrifying power?

Max precision, 50-meter area destructive strike, shockwave kill range over a hundred meters.

You're telling me this is something a civilization that just discovered saltpeter can build?

My Old Ancestor, isn't this cheat code a bit too overpowered?

Wouldn't this thing blow the Tyranids' brains out?

Su Yang's expression was stunned, and he looked at the Skyfire Guard with a bit more respect.

"Continue firing?" the soldier asked.

"Must fire, how can a real man only fire one shot!"

Clunk—

The giant artillery position vibrated up and down, and another explosive shell was loaded.

This time, Su Yang did not choose to split, but directly chose the single-point blast mode.

Happiness delivered to the door, he wanted to pour the explosive shell directly into the insect nest!

The breech of the cannon rotated continuously, and with a 'clank' sound, it stopped, and the second explosive shell was ready.

"Fire!!"

Boom—

Another thunderous explosion, dust flying.

This time Su Yang learned from the previous experience, covered his ears, and opened his mouth wide.

It is said that this set of actions can effectively reduce the possibility of eardrum injury when a loud noise occurs.

After personal testing, the action was indeed effective, no more tinnitus, just a mouthful of dust.

Following the explosion, the burning explosive shell fell like a fire meteor to the ground.

One shot to the soul, precise entry into the hole.

After a moment of silence, only huge tongues of fire spewed out from the cave entrance.

The area around the cave entrance seemed to have been lifted by someone, and the entire ground was blown into the sky and then landed.

The soil layer in an area of nearly a hundred meters completely collapsed and sank, and countless thick smoke rolled out from the underground.

This shot caused the entire insect nest to collapse, buried deep under the soil layer with no possibility of survival.

[You have become the Tyranid Swarm's number one mortal enemy, the crazed Tyranid Swarm will launch an infinite pursuit against you]

[Note: The probability of suffering an Insect Swarm attack during the day has significantly increased]

One shot fired, kill notifications and achievement notifications directly flooded the screen.

This shot directly overturned the entire Tyranid nest, and the Tyranids died out without even seeing them!

Su Yang's eyes were stunned, his mind filled with thoughts of how terrifying this was.

Originally, he said that this shot would clear out most of the Tyranids, and then let General Li Xin lead the team down to complete the final finishing work.

Unexpectedly, the Skyfire Guard cleared the field in one shot!

What remaining troops, even the Tyranid Brood Mother was blown away.

No need for any finishing work, this shot even dug their graves for them, which can be considered as returning to the earth and going back to their roots.

If one had to give the Skyfire Guard a one-word evaluation, it would be strong, unreasonably strong!

Beyond-visual-range strikes in the cold weapon era, besides strong, what else can describe it.

Now Su Yang's only thought is to get the saltpeter mine resources as soon as possible, and let the Skyfire Guard realize artillery freedom as soon as possible.

All known insect nests have been dealt with, and the Gaze of the Abyss Rank has also been upgraded again.

Tested the power of the Skyfire Guard, and also obtained two achievements.

This trip was a complete Perfection, and next, it depends on the power of the Scout units.

Hope they can discover iron ore and explore the Salt Flats area as soon as possible, allowing the territory's development speed to enter a new stage.

As soon as the thought fell, a 'ding' sounded in Su Yang's mind.

[Reconnaissance unit has discovered a mineral vein]
