129: It’s just a concert, so easy to handle!

Yu Miaoyin and her female assistant walked together towards the backstage of the concert.

As she passed through the corridor of the main concert venue, Yu Miaoyin tilted her ear to listen and found that the main venue was very quiet, with not too many noisy sounds.

Yu Miaoyin couldn't help but smile, her eyes filled with pride: "I didn't expect my fans to be so well-behaved; with so many people here, it's still so quiet and orderly."

The female assistant also smiled slightly, agreeing: "Yes, they're probably all eagerly awaiting your appearance."

Yu Miaoyin nodded: "Then let's go get ready quickly."

With that, she led the way to the dressing room.

Just as the female assistant was about to follow, a staff member suddenly approached and whispered something in her ear.

The female assistant was startled at first, a hint of confusion flashing in her eyes, then her eyes gradually widened.

Her originally gentle expression instantly froze, her face a mix of shock, disbelief, and panic.

Her lips trembled slightly, her face turned pale in an instant, and a thin layer of sweat even subtly seeped from her forehead; her hands unconsciously clutched the corner of her clothes.

She subconsciously looked at Yu Miaoyin's back, her eyes filled with worry and internal conflict, her expression complex.

Meanwhile,

Yu Miaoyin had already arrived at the dressing room.

She walked gently to the dressing mirror, sat down elegantly, her eyes revealing a sense of confidence and composure.

She first took off her sunglasses and placed them aside; her eyes, like autumn waters, shimmered with enchanting light under the illumination.

Yu Miaoyin squinted slightly, gave a satisfied smile at her reflection, then reached for the makeup brush on the table.

She always did her own makeup.

Because she felt that only she herself truly understood what effect she wanted, and with her looks, a simple touch-up would be beautiful, completely eliminating the need for a professional makeup team.

After a series of intricate and complex steps like applying foundation and setting powder.

Yu Miaoyin began to meticulously outline her eyebrows with an eyebrow pencil, her movements gentle and skilled, as if carefully sketching a work of art; her slender eyebrows became even more exquisite under her hand, like a crescent moon hanging on her fair forehead.

Next,

She picked up the mascara and carefully brushed her eyelashes; each lash instantly became curled and thick, as captivating as a Barbie doll's.

After finishing her eye makeup, Yu Miaoyin began to apply lipstick.

She opened a tube of true red lipstick, slightly pouted her lips at the mirror, and evenly applied the lipstick to her lips.

The vibrant red, like a burning flame, was alluring and added a fatal charm to her face, also making her temperament more alluringly noble.

Soon, Yu Miaoyin skillfully finished her makeup.

She stood up and walked to the clothes rack, choosing a magnificent silver evening gown.

The gown was embedded with countless tiny rhinestones, sparkling with dazzling light under the illumination, like stars in the night sky.

She gently took off the black dress she was wearing, revealing her fair, jade-like skin. She carefully put on the silver evening gown.

The form-fitting design of the gown perfectly hugged her figure, showcasing her graceful silhouette to its fullest.

After putting on the gown, Yu Miaoyin sat on the chair and began to tend to her feet.

Her slender, jade-like feet were fair and smooth, her toes round and cute, like freshly peeled lychees.

She picked up a bottle of clear nail polish and carefully applied it to her toes; once the polish dried, she put on a pair of silver high heels.

The heels of the high heels were slender and elegant; she gently stood up and took light steps.

With each step, the skirt of the gown swayed gently, and the high heels made a crisp sound, fully displaying her noble and alluringly elegant temperament, like a princess stepping out of a fairy tale, exuding an irresistible charm.

Yu Miaoyin walked gracefully to the mirror, her posture light and elegant, like a noble swan.

She turned slightly, her gaze, like a delicate paintbrush, slowly moved from her exquisitely sculpted oval face to her beautifully contoured jawline.

Then, it traced down her slender, willow-like neck, resting on her shapely waist, and her long, straight, fair, jade-like legs, which appeared even more so encased in the silver evening gown.

The tiny rhinestones on the gown sparkled brilliantly with her movements, further accentuating the delicate smoothness of her skin; her entire being seemed like a goddess who had stepped out of ancient Greek mythology, radiating a dazzling brilliance.

She gently raised her hand, her slender fingers running through her smooth, waterfall-like long hair, the corners of her mouth slightly upturned, forming a confident and charming arc.

Her eyes were full of appreciation and certainty for her appearance and figure; her vermilion lips parted slightly, her voice clear and pleasant: "Very good, very perfect."

At this moment, the female assistant pushed the door open, her movements a little hurried, her face showing some tension.

Her hands were clasped in front of her, her fingers unconsciously tugging at the corner of her clothes; her steps were slightly hesitant, each one taken with caution.

She looked up slightly, her gaze meeting Yu Miaoyin's, and softly said: "Miaoyin, do you want to warm up your voice and do a sound check?"

Yu Miaoyin smiled slightly, a confident smile instantly blooming on her face, her eyes revealing a hint of arrogance.

She gently waved her hand, her arm tracing a graceful arc in the air, and said: "No need, don't you trust my ability?"

With that, she moved with light, lotus-like steps, each one carrying an Innate elegance, and walked to a nearby chair, sitting down gracefully.

Her hands rested casually and naturally on the armrests, her fingers lightly tapping the armrests, making a rhythmic sound, her eyes showing a trace of reminiscence.

When she was Cultivating with her masters on the mountain, she Cultivated a sound-based Cultivation Technique.

Although her current strength was not the highest among her Senior Sisters, merely at the Innate Perfection realm, when it came to singing, she was the most outstanding.

A mere concert was a piece of cake for her, completely effortless.

The female assistant nodded slightly, a hint of imperceptible worry flashing in her eyes; her lips moved, as if she had a thousand words to say, but then swallowed them back in an instant.

Only her throat subtly moved, looking as if she wanted to speak but held back.

Yu Miaoyin keenly caught the female assistant's unusual behavior; she slightly raised her chin, her gaze carrying a hint of doubt and curiosity, and asked: "What's wrong, Sister Li?"

The female assistant seemed startled by the sudden question, quickly shaking her head, her eyes darting away, not daring to meet Yu Miaoyin's gaze.

She forced a smile, but it held a touch of bitterness, and said: "Nothing, I just hope this concert goes smoothly."

Yu Miaoyin chuckled softly, her eyes full of confidence, and said: "Of course everything will go smoothly."

She paused, her gaze sweeping towards the door, then stood up, elegantly adjusting the skirt of her gown with both hands; the rhinestones on the skirt sparkled dazzlingly with her movements, and she said:

"I'm going to the restroom first; by the time I get back, it should be almost time to start."

With that, she walked away gracefully in her silver high heels, the crisp, pleasant 'clack-clack' sound of her heels hitting the ground echoing in the corridor for a long time.

The female assistant watched Yu Miaoyin's retreating figure, her brows tightly furrowed, one hand unconsciously raised, scratching her head in a helpless manner, making her hair a little messy, a hint of bitterness appearing on her face.

Her eyes were filled with worry and helplessness, her lips trembled slightly, and she murmured to herself:

"I didn't expect that just coming to Yanjing City for a concert would get her targeted by that infamous Young Master Lu. What should I do? I wish we hadn't come..."

She sighed deeply, her hands falling powerlessly, clenching slightly at her sides, and then continued:

"I remember Miaoyin's backing is quite powerful too; I hope it can make this Young Master Lu somewhat wary..."
