58: Real God of War, Fake God of War!

Outside the manor,

A pitch-black, imposing off-road vehicle, like a deadly Vicious Beast, kicked up a trail of dust and abruptly braked.

The car door "clanged" open with a forceful swing.

War God Xiao Tianyu, like a black bolt of furious thunder, stepped out with an imposing Aura.

He was dressed in a pure black long robe, its hem fluttering wildly in the strong wind, like a blazing battle flag.

The dark gold patterns subtly embroidered on the robe resembled coiled Dragons, occasionally revealing their sharpness under the sunlight, showcasing their owner's past glorious military achievements and supreme majesty.

His figure was tall and straight; as he stood before the Lu Family Manor, the surrounding air seemed to be cut by a sharp blade, permeated with a hint of killing intent.

Xiao Tianyu’s sword-like brows furrowed upwards, and his eyes beneath his thick brows shot out endless rage and ruthlessness, fixed tightly on the magnificent villa before him.

His sharp gaze was like a materialized sharp blade, as if it wanted to cleave the building apart, his brows tightly twisted into a ' river' character, his face filled with malevolence and indignation.

In his memory, when he left Dragon Country, although the Lu Family had considerable influence and a deep Foundation, it was not yet considered the number one Family in Yanjing City that could overshadow everything.

Who would have thought?

In just a few short years, while he was far away in a foreign land, the Lu Family seemed to have ridden the green clouds, soaring upwards, becoming such a colossal entity.

This manor before him was located in the best and highest area of Yanjing, with ornate carvings, painted beams, and deep courtyards, exuding an oppressive Aura of luxury and power everywhere.

It was clearly not a manor that an ordinary Family could own.

But... so what!?

When had he, War God Xiao Tianyu, ever feared anything!?

A mere Lu Family, if they dared to provoke his wife and daughter, he would destroy them with a flip of his hand!!

"Hmph!" Xiao Tianyu's lips curled into a disdainful sneer, and he let out a cold snort through gritted teeth,

"No matter how colossal the Lu Family is now, if you dare to touch my wife and daughter, there is only one path: death! In this Dragon Country, no one can make me, Xiao Tianyu, feel fear! With thousands of elites under the War God Hall, what is there to fear!"

His voice was like a resounding bell, shaking the surrounding branches, causing leaves to fall, as if even heaven and earth had to give way to his towering rage!!

The manor's guards, well-trained, instantly tensed up like hunting dogs sniffing danger.

With a "clatter," they all drew their weapons from their waists, and with agile movements, scattered, forming a fan shape to tightly surround Xiao Tianyu and his group.

For a moment, the atmosphere was as heavy as leaden clouds pressing down, filled with killing intent.

Security Captain Wang Qiang wore a crisp, custom-made uniform, his golden epaulets gleaming brightly.

This was the honor bestowed upon him by Lu Chen.

At this moment,

He stared with wide eyes, filled with astonishment and bewilderment, his mouth slightly agape, his jaw nearly dropping, his face etched with disbelief.

Who in Yanjing didn't know the renown of the Lu Family?

Normally, passersby would give way and hold their breath when passing this manor.

Today, someone dared to storm this place, even bringing a group of aggressive subordinates to completely surround the Lu Family villa?

Was this not an open provocation, seeking death?

"Who are you! If you dare to take another step forward, don't blame me for shooting!"

Wang Qiang roared, his expression stern, his rifle clutched so tightly it creaked.

Xiao Tianyu looked at the tactical rifle in Wang Qiang's hand with disdain.

He simply didn't believe the other party dared to pull the trigger; not everyone was like the warriors of the War God Hall, who had undergone countless battles abroad, fighting amidst a hail of bullets.

A mere Security Captain, that was even less likely!

Xiao Tianyu even suspected that the gun in the other party's hand had no bullets at all!

Xiao Tianyu glanced at Wang Qiang, not even bothering to speak.

Such a small fry was not worth his personal attention!

At this moment,

The War God Hall warriors behind Xiao Tianyu, seeing the opponent ready for battle and showing no fear, stood firm and tall like pines.

They wore matching black combat attire, the fabric clinging tightly to their bulging muscles, outlining lines that contained endless power.

One person slightly bent down, his hands flashing out two short knives from behind, the blades glinting with cold light, like meteors in the dark night.

Another knelt on one knee, quickly setting up a heavy sniper rifle, its dark muzzle like the eyes of the Grim Reaper, chilling and terrifying, aimed at the high watchtowers of the manor.

Both sides were at loggerheads, the confrontation like a bowstring pulled to its extreme, ready to snap at any moment.

Xiao Tianyu suddenly clenched his fists, raising his arms and shouting, "Attack! Take them down as quickly as possible!"

His voice was like thunder, making people's eardrums ache, his Aura as if he commanded a mighty army, certain of victory in this battle.

His subordinates moved at his command, like hungry wolves pouncing on prey, agile and swift, rushing towards the manor guards with an unstoppable Aura.

Seeing this, Security Captain Wang Qiang's thick brows furrowed, his gaze as resolute as iron, and without hesitation, he fiercely pulled the trigger.

"Bang!" A gunshot pierced the heavy air, as if sounding the charge for a fierce battle!

In an instant,

The seemingly quiet surroundings of the manor, as if under an invisibility spell, suddenly swarmed with a large number of guards.

They fanned out, their firepower weaving into an impenetrable net of death.

Some held assault rifles, their barrels glinting coldly, bullets pouring out like a storm.

Those with sniper rifles lay steadily in concealed positions, their muzzles precisely locked onto targets, each shot aimed at a vital point.

Those with submachine guns moved agilely, their firepower fierce, shell casings scattering wherever they went.

Even more, some carried rocket launchers, their muzzles spewing deadly flames, trailing long plumes of smoke, roaring like evil Dragons, bombarding the attacking crowd.

Xiao Tianyu's subordinates had never anticipated such fierce firepower; although they were seasoned veterans, they were lightly equipped this time, and the disparity in gear was immense.

Bullets flew like swarming wasps, instantly blooming into crimson flowers in the crowd.

One person was shot in the chest, his body suddenly stiffening, his eyes wide, his face full of unwillingness, and before he could react, he fell straight to the ground.

Another was wounded in the leg, crying out in pain, kneeling on one knee, yet still trying to struggle to his feet to continue the charge.

Still others were thrown several tens of feet by the impact of a rocket, crashing heavily to the ground, dust flying, their fate unknown.

In just a few seconds, the team was routed, retreating step by step, blood spreading wantonly across the ground, forming a shocking pool.

Xiao Tianyu's eyes widened, his face filled with disbelief!!

His originally stern and arrogant face instantly contorted, his lips slightly parted, frozen in place.

That confident expression shattered like thin ice in spring.

He, who had just seemed like a War God descended, looking down on everything, was now in a sorry state.

His subordinates swarmed around him, pulling his arm, forcefully dragging him, still in shock, to a hidden corner of the wall.

Xiao Tianyu's back pressed against the wall, breathing heavily, sweat rolling down his cheeks, mixed with the splashed dust, utterly disheveled.

His hands unconsciously trembled slightly, no longer showing any of his previous arrogance, his eyes filled with panic and fury, staring intently at the battlefield.

In contrast, Wang Qiang stood tall and straight like a pine, unyielding amidst the hail of bullets, his face stern and fearless.

Each time he pulled the trigger, the recoil of the rifle made his shoulder slightly shake, yet he maintained steady control.

His gaze pierced through the smoke, accurately locking onto targets, and he constantly shouted commands, directing the guard's layout, showing his decisive and capable nature.

Around him, shrapnel flew and gunfire flashed.

But he seemed oblivious, completely devoted to protecting the manor, this loyalty and sincerity shining brightly amidst the gunfire.

At this moment,

A fierce wind howled, as if also ignited by the raging battle, making it hard to open one's eyes.

Dust filled the sky, blurring vision, merging with the gunpowder smoke, making people's nostrils sting.

Leaves on the branches were torn off by the strong wind, falling "rustling," like desperate paper money.

The exquisite sculptures in front of the manor's main gate were also hit by stray bullets, fragments flying, mottled and damaged.

This tragic environment, like a scene from the apocalypse, made Wang Qiang appear even more heroic and fearless, and Xiao Tianyu even more disheveled and pathetic.

For a moment, it was hard to tell who was truly the War God...
