184: Meeting

A battered figure leaned against the cliff wall in the valley, his face covered in blood and grime, looking utterly wretched.

Du Xian took a deep breath and shielded his aura once more.

He had clearly sensed that the Alien Races hunting him had already arrived nearby.

Relying on his powerful methods and the resources he had plundered, he rapidly increased his Cultivation.

Less than a month had passed, and his Cultivation had already reached Nirvana.

Basically, he would absorb and convert all resources plundered from the Alien Race into his own foundation within a short period.

Only by doing this could he venture further into the enemy's rear, otherwise, he would eventually die here.

Du Xian could clearly perceive that the number of people pursuing him was increasing, and their strength was also growing.

Fortunately, he was alone, possessed strong mobility, and carried a Magic Treasure to ward off most attacks.

Otherwise, it would have been impossible for him to survive until today.

“Sniff sniff!”

A man resembling a Dog Demon lay on the ground, twitching his nose, continuously searching for the source of the scent.

“This fellow is too cunning. He seems to have concealed the scent on his body!”

While carefully distinguishing the scent on the ground with his nose, he meticulously searched for the other party's whereabouts.

Soon, he found the correct direction, a look of excitement appearing on his face. Behind him followed over a hundred Saint-level Powerhouses.

They originally thought the Human Race only had a few Prodigies, but now another one had appeared.

His strength wasn't particularly high; he seemed to only be at Nirvana, but the problem was that he killed someone extremely important to the high-ranking members of the Alien Race.

A child of a high-ranking Alien Race member secretly ran out to play, only to be slain by Du Xian, who took all the resources on their body.

This was why so many Powerhouses immediately began hunting him down.

Du Xian noticed people pursuing him and immediately rushed forward, quickly fleeing his original location. Less than a quarter of an hour after he left, the pursuers arrived with their group.

“He stayed here for a long time just now. There is a very strong scent of him here, and he fled in such a panic that he didn't have time to cover his scent!”

The Dog Demon excitedly pointed out a direction.

The two sides chased each other, and in just three days, Du Xian was about to be caught.

Sensing the increasingly close aura behind him, Du Xian’s expression gradually darkened.

He could barely contend with a Saint right now, but he definitely couldn't kill one, let alone a hundred Saints. He had absolutely no recourse.

Du Xian gritted his teeth, an unwilling look on his face. Just as he was about to stop and fight to the death, he was suddenly pulled into a nearby cave by a hand.

“Junior Brother!”

Su Yao excitedly covered his mouth, only releasing him after he had calmed down.

“Senior Sister, why are you here?”

Du Xian saw ten Human Race Cultivators. Their clothes were relatively clean, and they didn't show many signs of battle, suggesting they had recently left a town.

“Senior Sister Su Yao, is this your Junior Brother? I haven't heard that Chief Lin has other Disciples.”

Someone asked.

Before this, these Disciples would never have treated Li Haotian with such respect.

Ever since they witnessed him confronting several Quasi-Emperors on the city wall, everyone had admired him from the bottom of their hearts.

The Chief Disciple they once looked down upon transformed into the most dazzling light on the Sect's city wall.

Not only did he single-handedly draw the majority of the Alien Race Powerhouses' firepower, but he also greatly boosted the morale of the soldiers on the city walls, and everyone regarded him as a hero in their hearts.

Others had done this before, ostentatiously releasing their aura to provoke the Alien Race, but without exception, they were all wiped out by Alien Race Powerhouses.

Later on, no one dared to continue boosting morale so brazenly on the city wall.

However, the generals from various forces also remained on the city walls, mixing among the soldiers, commanding and killing enemies simultaneously.

Flying directly into the sky was too conspicuous; it was practically a living target.

Li Haotian created a legend. In almost every battle, he would boost morale from the sky. As long as he appeared, everyone believed the battle could not be lost, and their drive to kill enemies would become fiercer.

The Alien Race repeatedly tried to kill him, using assassination, poisoning, and virtually every other method, but none had any effect.

Li Haotian was like an Undying War God, shrouded in a strange halo. When an enemy trap was right in front of him, he would stop advancing and turn away.

Many times, enemies lured him out of the city, intending to kill him, but they never succeeded.

The Alien Race was furious and trying various methods; now, they had even set their sights on Crimson.

“This is a Disciple of our Spirit Gathering Peak. Although he is not a direct Disciple of Revered Master, he is an exceptionally outstanding Disciple. As long as he achieves certain results, Revered Master will take him as an apprentice.”

Su Yao generously introduced her Junior Brother to everyone, her face full of excited smiles. Revered Master had instructed her before she left to look after her Junior Brother if she ran into him.

Revered Master's small mouth was like it had been blessed; after he spoke, she really did encounter her Junior Brother.

“Senior Sister, I should still run away. I have pursuers right behind me, and they are about to catch up. Staying here will only delay you all!”

Du Xian was slightly panicked and wanted to turn and leave, but his Senior Sister grabbed him tightly.

“If you still recognize me as your Senior Sister, then hide with us. We are all Fellow Disciples here, all Heavenly Profound Sect Disciples. We found a Tunnel in this mountain range that seems to lead to an Ancient Tomb. Come inside with us and hide within the mountain. It won't be easy for this group of Alien Races to get in.”

Su Yao's words made Du Xian look at her with gratitude, and he then nodded.

Soon, everyone entered the mountain range. Inside the cave, there was an extremely narrow Tunnel.

Only one person could pass at a time, and everyone slowly groped their way forward.

“Sniff sniff!”

“The scent disappears near here. He must have used some means to shield his aura. Everyone be careful! This brat loves to ambush from the shadows, killing one person and then running away!”

While speaking, the Dog Demon adopted a cautious expression, carefully watching his surroundings. The rest of the Saint-level Powerhouses also began searching the area cautiously.

Although this fellow's Cultivation is only at Nirvana, even a Saint wouldn't fare well under his sneak attack. Not long ago, a Saint-level Powerhouse fell into severe injury due to his ambush.
