Han, Aiden, Ronan, and Clara walked silently through the tall marble halls of the Silver Guild Headquarters. Their footsteps echoed beneath the towering ceiling. Leading the way were three men clad in silver uniforms, with six more trailing behind—an unmistakable escort formation usually reserved for criminals.

Ronan’s appearance had changed drastically. His usual short black hair was now long, cascading past his shoulders, and his face appeared slightly fuller, softer, with subtle differences that masked his identity. The famous "Exterminator" couldn’t be recognized, thanks to the artifact he wore—a mystical mask capable of altering a person’s features entirely.

"Hey... do we really have to go through with this?" Aiden whispered, leaning slightly toward Han.

Han gave a silent nod. He had already heard the full summary of the situation. From what he understood, the mayors—greedy and cowardly—had filed a report to the Silver Guild, spinning the narrative to frame him as a dangerous threat. Han could easily annihilate the entire guild if he wished. With his current power, no one below Class S stood a chance. But doing so would only invite greater problems. Class S powerhouses would come sniffing around, and that was a complication he didn’t need.

So, he decided to play along... for now.

The group was led into a large chamber. It was not grand, but held an air of importance. At the far end, seated on an elevated, ornate chair, was a man with sharp silver eyes and an aura of command—Silver Wing, leader of the Silver Guild. Flanking him were the mayors, who visibly flinched the moment Han entered the room. But then, recalling where they were, their confidence returned. After all, they were inside the strongest guild on the continent.

Silver Wing’s eyes narrowed as he scanned the group. Only a select few elites from the guild had been called in for this matter. He didn’t expect anything unusual. The group appeared unremarkable at first glance.

"Separate them," he commanded.

The guards responded swiftly, escorting Ronan, Clara, and Aiden to different rooms for individual interrogation. Han remained in the central chamber, now seated across from Silver Wing and the accusing mayors.

"Sit," Silver Wing said.



Han obeyed, lowering himself calmly into the chair.

The mayors’ expressions were smug now, their confidence restored by the presence of the guild leader. Han’s gaze swept over them with icy disinterest. Deep inside, he felt a growing urge to make them scream. He was in no mood for politics.

Silver Wing gestured toward one of the mayors. "Tell me again what you told the guild."

One of them stood and began to recount everything—the destruction Han had allegedly caused, the collateral damage, the supposed recklessness. He painted Han as a ticking bomb masked as a savior, exaggerating every detail.

When the man finished, Silver Wing turned back to Han, his expression unreadable.

"Is it true?" he asked calmly.

Han leaned back, arms crossed, and gave a small nod, as if the matter didn’t concern him in the slightest.

"I’m disappointed," Silver Wing said after a moment.

"You’re that kid from the Awakening Hall a few months ago, aren’t you?" Silver Wing asked, his sharp gaze fixed on Han. "The one with an E-rank skill."

Han was mildly surprised. He hadn’t expected Silver Wing to remember such a minor incident. Still, he nodded in acknowledgment.

"You must have reawakened since then," Silver Wing continued, his voice growing colder. "I assume you obtained at least a B-rank... perhaps even A-rank skill now. Impressive, but that doesn’t give you the right to act as you please."

He leaned forward slightly, his tone firm and judgmental. "If you have anything to say in your defense, now is the time. Your judgment will be decided after."



Han remained composed, his gaze steady. "I saved them," he said calmly, nodding towards the mayors. "They were on the brink of destruction. I choose to protect them. And this is how they repay me—by twisting the truth and exploiting my kindness. So yes, I reminded them of their place."

Silver Wing narrowed his eyes, falling into a moment of contemplation. If Han’s words were true, then he wasn’t guilty—he was justified.

"That’s a lie!" one of the mayors suddenly shouted, his face red with indignation. "He destroyed our resources and crops! When we asked for help, he threatened us—and put Mayor Yu in a miserable state!"

Silver Wing’s eyes flicked to Han again, cold and unreadable. "Did you really do that to Mayor Yu?" he asked. He had seen Mayor Yu’s condition himself—and truth be told, the man was barely responsive. It seemed unlikely he would ever recover.

Han nodded again, unapologetic.

The room fell into stunned silence. Even the Silver Guild elites flanking the room were caught off guard.

Who admits something like that so casually?

Silver Wing’s expression hardened, and a shadow passed over his face.


"You have failed the trials of restraint and discipline," he declared. "As such, your punishment is as follows:

1. You will follow and fulfill all requests made by the mayors without question.

2. You will personally find a cure for Mayor Yu’s condition.

3. And finally—your guild will be disbanded immediately. You will dissolve it yourself."

Han sat there for a moment, quietly assessing Silver Wing. Then, in a calm voice, he replied:



"I will do no such thing."

A cold hush fell over the room.

Han continued, "Out of respect for you, Silver Wing, I’ll look into curing Mayor Yu. But the rest? No. I won’t be ordered around by petty cowards playing victim."

Silver Wing’s eyes flashed with fury. He was one of the A6—an elite of the Class A powerhouses—and this newcomer dared to defy him outright?

Before he could speak, the bald-headed man at his side—clearly his second-in-command—snapped. With a roar, he lunged forward, his fist hurtling toward Han’s head.

Han didn’t even move.

A hand intercepted the blow with blinding speed, clutching the bald man’s wrist so tightly that bones creaked under the pressure.

The attacker gasped in pain and turned, only to see a young man with striking blonde hair and a lazy, almost mocking smile.

Aiden stood there with a gentle smile, his hand gripping the man’s arm with unyielding strength.

His eyes, however, were anything but playful.

"What are you doing, attacking our leader like that?." He questioned.
