146: Chapter 146 You're really naive
A massive rift tore open in the northern sky, extending all the way to the ground, resembling a vertical eye opening.
The Level 8 Lizard-person Demigod was the first to step out of the rift.
Three people followed closely behind him, one of whom possessed the most terrifying aura.
The Level 8 Lizard-person Demigod stood at the very front. He gazed into the distance at the active volcano billowing thick smoke, then turned his head to look at the three people behind him and spoke to one of them.
"Big Brother! It's this brat! I estimate that those nuclear fire crystals are still hidden in that volcano!"
A gust of wild wind howled in.
Gu Han hovered in mid-air, arms crossed over his chest, staring straight at that Level 8 Lizard-person Demigod.
"You aren't being honest," Gu Han said, tilting his head. "We signed a contract using a Contract Stone before. You promised not to invade my Divine Kingdom."
The Level 8 Lizard-person Demigod threw his head back and laughed loudly.
"You really are naively cute!" The Lizardman Demigod pointed at Gu Han. "I did agree in the contract that I wouldn't invade, but I didn't say I couldn't bring others along to invade!"
He turned to look at his three accomplices beside him and burst into wild laughter again.
"So the so-called Old Granny is actually just a wet-behind-the-ears greenhorn! You're still too inexperienced to play mind games with me!"
Gu Han ignored his clamoring, his gaze passing over the Lizardman to size up the three Divine Lords behind him.
One of them was a familiar face—that Level 7 Troll Demigod from before.
The other two: one was a Level 8 Snake-person Demigod covered in dark green scales, leaning on a bone spear and flicking a scarlet tongue.
The last one was the most eye-catching; it was a Level 9 Demigod.
This guy didn't even have a fixed physical form; its entire body was a mass of wildly surging, sea-blue water, with dense blue runes on its head and chest.
Gu Han immediately opened his smart assistant and scanned the water-form Demigod.
[ Level 9 Raging Wave, Exclusive Follower, Rune Life, Extraordinary Trait: (Not Awakened) ]
Exclusive Follower, Rune Life!!
Gu Han's eyes instantly lit up; these were good things.
Exclusive Followers are usually followers that come with a Divine Lord's skill, meaning this type of creature cannot be bought on the trading platform at all. They are the Divine Lord's exclusive variety, possessing immense potential that others simply cannot cultivate.
And Rune Life is an even rarer commodity, usually possessing special elemental abilities or rune effects.
The Level 9 Raging Wave Demigod looked down at Gu Han from above. Two hollow whirlpools appeared on its rune-composed face, seemingly smiling.
"Brat, I didn't expect the foundation of your Divine Kingdom to be so rich; even the air reeks of Advanced resources." The Raging Wave Demigod's voice carried the echoing sound of surging water. "I didn't come here for nothing this trip."
The vigilance on Gu Han's face vanished instantly, replaced immediately by a flattering, smiling expression.
"I certainly wouldn't let you come for nothing! It is my honor that you Big Brothers have graced me with your presence."
Gu Han pointed to the Divine Kingdom land below.
"Take whatever you want—nuclear fire crystals, rare plants, even my followers, take them all! As long as you spare my life, we can discuss anything."
The four people in mid-air were stunned for a moment, then erupted into earth-shattering laughter.
"Know fear now? It's too late!" The Troll Demigod pointed at Gu Han and cursed angrily. "Weren't you quite arrogant when you scammed my followers! Today, I'm going to crush your bones inch by inch!"
The Snake-person Demigod chimed in sinisterly: "Spare your life? Do you think we're running a charity?"
The Raging Wave Demigod's water ripples surged, its voice deafening.
"You really are naive. Has no one taught you that you must pull up the roots when weeding, lest the spring breeze make them grow again?"
Gu Han's expression changed again; he retreated several hundred meters, putting some distance between them.
He watched these four Demigods, who were certain of their victory, with the appearance of someone scared out of their wits.
On the surface, he was panicked, but in his heart, Gu Han was calculating frantically.
Of these four Demigods, currently only the Lizardman Demigod had connected to this place via a spatial rift.
The other three—the Troll, Snake-person, and Raging Wave—had all connected their Divine Kingdoms to the Lizardman's Divine Kingdom first, then used the Lizardman's channel as a springboard to come over.
This was very troublesome; if the Lizardman's Divine Kingdom had even the slightest mishap later, the other three's Divine Kingdoms would disconnect.
And even without that situation, if Gu Han wanted to hunt them down, he would first have to fight his way into the Lizardman's Divine Kingdom, then find the coordinates of the other three Divine Kingdoms from the Lizardman's territory.
Too much time wasted, and the variables were too great.
He had to think of a way to make these three guys connect their own Divine Kingdom channels over.
Gu Han took a deep breath, forcing a resigned, grief-stricken expression onto his face.
"Gentlemen, since I'm dead anyway, I have a last wish."
Gu Han pointed to the buildings covering the mountains and plains below, and the vaguely visible resource points.
"These follower species and buildings are my life's work, accumulated day and night, and are extremely precious. There are also vast spiritual mines underground. If you empty this place out and extract my Divine Source, I would be eternally grateful!"
After hearing this, the Raging Wave Demigod's water body rolled violently, and its form even expanded.
"You don't have the qualifications to make a last wish to us."
Although it said that, the Raging Wave Demigod turned to look at the Divine Kingdom below. It hadn't expected there to be spiritual mines underground, and its heart began to stir.
The loading cards brought this time might not be enough; with four people splitting it, it was inevitable there would be too many hands in the pot.
It couldn't possibly loot every type personally; it needed to send more followers to loot, it had to open its own channel to loot.
The other two obviously had the same thought; the Troll Demigod and the Snake-person Demigod exchanged glances.
Three massive spatial rifts appeared almost simultaneously, situated in different directions, in addition to the original rift from the Lizardman.
The four Demigods' Divine Kingdoms were now completely connected to Gu Han's Divine Kingdom.
The Level 8 Lizard-person Demigod saw Gu Han still dazed and thought he had been scared out of his wits.
"Old Granny, I still prefer that unruly look you had when you were extorting me in the canyon before." The Lizardman Demigod laughed wildly.
The terror on Gu Han's face instantly vanished, replaced by an extremely brilliant smile.
A cyan whirlwind suddenly swept through the mid-air.
Rich wind elements quickly gathered and compressed beneath Gu Han, and in the blink of an eye, they condensed into a magnificent, visible throne.
The throne was incomparably wide, radiating a heart-palpitating magical fluctuation.
Qu Nimade rose on his sword, hovering beside the throne and chuckling.
"Old man, this special skill of yours is not bad; you really know how to put on a show." Qu Nimade gave a thumbs up.
Ier nodded in satisfaction and spoke unhurriedly.
"My god must have style; he must be distinguished from those four blind pseudo-gods."
The four Demigods' laughter stopped abruptly, and they looked over, puzzled—they were about to die, yet they still had the leisure to put on such a show.
Gu Han took a look, sat on the Wind Throne with great satisfaction, his hair flying wildly.
He crossed his legs, supported his chin with his left hand, and looked down at the four people. With a light lift of his right hand, a delightful white light illuminated.
"Gentlemen, have fun."
